ooc// It's okay don't worry about it! And yay! I'll sign him up for his warrior ceremony then.

Berrypaw looked felt a tinge of disappointment when Heatherpaw turned away.

"It's really quite late isn't it? It's getting cold too, we should head back if we want to survive morning duties." Berrypaw thought out loud.

"Oh! Which reminds me, I have to go on a dawn patrol tomorrow." he quickly clambered down the tree, "Come on Heatherpaw! I'll race ya!" he smiled.

Heatherpaw nodded in agreement with Berrypaw. but her ears perked when he mentioned dawn patrol. Dawn patrol? Why in Starclan is he still up then? "Umm ok! Wait for me," she couldn't hide her excitement when he mentioned a race. Staring down the tree she felt anxious though. She still wasn't too good at the whole climbing thing.

Very, very, very clumsily she made her way down most of the tree. However, once she got towards the bottom she lost her grip and fell once again the rest of the way down the tree. "Ouch!" She hadn't been able to twist her body all the way, falling on her side. She let out a soft hiss.

Berrypaw rushed over to where Heatherpaw lay. "Are you alright? Does it hurt anywhere? Can you move?" he sniffed her shoulder, eyes glazed with a worried stare.

You're such a furball Berrypaw! You should have climbed down with her!

"Here let me help you up." He crouched beside her and offered his support.

Heatherpaw shook her head after the fall, only to find Berrypaw right next to her. Am I alright? She looked herself over. She had dirt all over her, and her fur was disheveled. She could feel a slight pain in her hip. "Umm, I think so." She looked to the large tom with surprise as he offered to help her. She wasn't sure why she felt happy about the offer, but she did.

"Thanks Berrypaw," she said with a smile closing her eyes. She leaned against him to stand up. She tested her back paw, putting some weight on it. She felt a little tender, but she didn't think it was anything that would affect her too much. Great now how are we suppose to race. I really messed this up. I wanted to race him. She looked to her paws, "Umm you can uhh go ahead and run if you umm want to."

[Anya]

"Umm you can uhh go ahead and run if you umm want to." the gray she-cat looked down towards her paws.

Run? Alone?

"No I think we-" he cut himself off, "I don't want to run anyway. I should save my strength for the dawn patrol." he looked at the path ahead.

"Let's start walking, we should make it back in time to meet the patrol at the entrance."

Heatherpaw looked to to Berrypaw, she knew he was lying. Running was something he smiled about. Her heart sank even more when he mentioned making it back just in time to make patrol. He was going to tired, and all because of her. Really messed this one up. "I-I'm sorry," she said leaning into his shoulder trying to hide her face, "I shouldn't have been so umm, clumsy."

Berrypaw (I don't know if I wanna use -blaze for this because they were still apprentices...hmmm) flicked her ear lightly with his tail. "Think of it as your charming point." he laughed as they began to head back. "Don't be so hard on yourself, the important thing is you get treated so we can run together next time."

The pale tabby raised his head to see how far they had come and to his surprise they weren't too far off from camp. "Seem," he nudged her shoulder with his nose, "we're almost there."

His green gaze caught the shadowy form of cats coming out of the entrance. The patrol! He'd make it just in time, thank StarClan. If he were late Jaypaw would never let him hear the end of it.

The gray she-cat looked to Berrypaw with wide eyes before turning away. He was being so nice to her, she nodded her head, "Y-yeah o-okay." She hoped that their running would be soon. It not only made him smile, but her too. It was something she was good at and he pushed her. It was weird, but when he ran fast she wanted to be faster.

When he nudged Heatherpaw it drew he attention back to him. She looked forward to see he was right, and the patrol just preparing to leave. He was getting no rest. "Umm, I'll go back to camp. Uh you go on ahead." She tried to smile to him before heading back to camp.
