Echo: Surprise ^o^ Since I know we've been wanting to RP these two together I figured I'd just shove it here for when you have time so I stop procrastinating on planning it with you
It'd been a while since she'd actually gotten some time to herself. Between having kits then being flung right back into warrior work, and then the whole drama with the kidnapping of Pebblestar (she still couldn't believe that) it seemed like there was no room for relaxing in between. Quite honestly, it seemed like that's how it was going to be for a while, especially after the next gathering. All the clans were going to have their eyes on the "murderous midnightclanners". It was just a constant back and forth between the clans- no one could just simply leave the peace.
Mutinous monster birds.
Silverstar's reign.
Mass war among the clans.
And now when things were beginning to settle down mouse brains, from her own clan at that, thought it would be a genius idea to go and kidnap the LEADER of Talonclan all over their own idiotic beliefs. but that's not all. They caused a war to wage through her home and many lives to be lost. The view of the pile of fur, still warm, was burned into her mind. That wasn't quite the worst though. The one sight that caused her to lose her stomach was that of Bramblestar taking the life of Pebblestar.
Her old mentor.
Her friend.
A killer.
It didn't settle with her too well, and the calico was in the works of forcing herself to forget it. It was how life was for the clans. There were disputes, there were battles, lives were lost, "peace" would be regained.
It would only be so long before something else would wash over the clans and cause chaos, whether it was for the good of bringing them all together or not though, she hadn't figured out yet.
A sigh expelled from Cedarleap's mouth; now wasn't the time to be thinking about that. She finally had time to herself. The birds in the trees chattered in song, each one following their own different melody, though somewhere out there one had its match. To some all the different songs sounded cluttered and mashed, like they were each out of place, but growing up under the trees it became in a way like its own tune. She allowed the noise to wash over hear, tension relieving from her muscles and for a moment everything seemed at peace.
