[ I couldn't wait any longer^^ Hope you don't mind me starting this Carotius ]
Three sunrises had come and passed since Rainbriar and Webfire's last meeting. It was surprising how much could change in three sunrises. Rainbriar was no longer Rainpaw, she had been granted her new name and moved up to become a warrior. On top of this she had learned of the disappearance of her apprenticehood friend Brackenpaw. The news had upset her more than she let on. She'd just gained a disappeared friend back and now she'd lost another. It was like she was cursed or something. but the biggest topic that hung in Rainbriar's mind wasn't her missing friend or even her new duties as a warrior. No the biggest was the words that Webpaw had said to her upon there last meeting. He had told her he loved her, that he thought they should be together. These words had brought her world crashing down, spinning out of control.
As a reaction to his words Rainpaw had run off, or at least tried to. Instead Webpaw had caught up to her and she had found herself telling him to meet her in the same location in three sunrises. She had even pressed her mangled maw to his cheek. She could still remember the way his soft maw had felt against hers and how her heart had raced out of her control. but Rainbriar didn't know how to feel about the entire situation. Because part of her wanted to run away. Wanted to be rid of the handsome splotched tom while the other half wanted to let herself fall.
So now in the cover of darkness Rainbriar found herself moving towards the Stormclan border. Her sturdy paws and compact frame moving along in silence. Her rounded ears flickering at the sounds of crickets and frogs. Her mind still buzzing with conflicted thoughts. Would Webpaw even show up? Did he really love her? Was their relationship really wrong? These questions had given her no rest for the past three days. Making her even more irratible towards her clanmates than normal. but now she moved with swiftness through the underbrush determined to find the answers she so desperately needed. Because of the splotched apprentice showed his face here it meant he still had feelings for her. but if he didn't show then she would know it had all been some big mistake.
Padding from the cover of the oak trees Rainbriar's ears were met with the roar of the river. It's rushing water glittering when it caught the glow of the moon and stars. Padding out across the bank Rainbriar peers out at the water, further to the platform. The large stone which belonged to both Midnightclan and Stormclan. Her dark yellow eyes seeking any sign of life, her maw twitching some when she remembered the last time she'd done this. Webpaw had bounced up and down and fallen into the river. It might of been funny but she had chosen to grumble at him and call him a dolt. It wasn't in her nature to give up a chance to snap at the Stormclanner.
