Carotius: Meeting thread for our murderous cats who will kill Jayclaw (I'm assuming in the thread after this one) iffy posts are iffy

"Hey genius, for the umpteenth we're supposed to be hunting not heading to Midnightclan's border."
"Oh, right Sir Falconeye. I forgot you were the senior warrior on this expedition."
As the two warriors passed through the undergrowth, the large fiery tom's eyes began blazing as he choked down a growl, flexing his claws in and out of his paw pads with every step that he took. Without a doubt the tabby was quite older then him, not just by moons, but by seasons, but the younger tom was undoubtedly larger and unquestionably a better fighter. Who died and put you in charge. It took just about every ounce of self control that he could muster to keep his mouth shut. There was no need for a fight now, now matter how badly the urge was biting. They just needed to get the prey, and get back to the Dovepaw and Riverpool. I have no idea how this bitter piece of fox-dung ended up getting dragged along with us. Originally it was supposed to just be a family hunt, but then the all wonderful, all knowing Tigerface had to get dragged along.
"Just be happy I have to get back to Dovepaw, or else I wouldn't be quite so friendly." Falconeye spat his words, snapping his jaws shut as the last word left his mouth. That little ball of white fluff that he had the pleasure to call his niece was waiting with his sister, and he would prefer to return to her without any scars and not dragging along a bloody body.
This comment had quite obviously caught the older warriors attention, causing him to stop curt in his trail. You could probably see the steam rising from his ears, but perhaps the most worrying factor was that his eyes remained completely calm and cold, a chuckle escaping his slightly parted lips that had curled up into a daring smile, "Well well, is that a little challenge I hear. How about after this whole little hunting trip is forgotten, I take you up on that offer of 'not so friendly Falconeye'."
It didn't take a genius to realize that what was about to go down was completely immoral and wrong- they both knew it. They were both just too pissed off to care.
"I have a better idea. How about I go, I get my prey and go back to the others, say you said you'd be back to camp later, then get them to camp safely then we settle this now."
"Sounds perfect, now scamper along kid. Make sure the medicine cat has a pile of herbs ready for you. Before we get back I'll rub you in some fox scent and pretend like I found you after being maimed."
Brown eyes met yellow ones as the two clan mates held an unbreaking glare before Falconeye broke away and stalked off with a flick of his tail. With every step he took his large paws left massive indents, each with deep holes from his unsheathed claws. Would the fight happen? Likely not. The two had just never rubbed each other the right way, both having just about nothing in common but aggression and undying loyalty to Leafclan. Not their clan mates, just the entity that was the clan itself- the name.
Tigerface stood watching Falconeye until he was well into the brush with an accomplished smirk on his face, before continuing on his way to the Midnightclan border. Not that he would admit it, but the younger warrior had been completely, 100% correct; he should've been hunting and he knew so too. Quite obviously though, he didn't care.
Continuing onward in silence the tabby reached the border, the wretched stench of their neighboring clan flooding his nose. It was something he'd grown to hate, nothing but negative connotations coming to his mind when he was exposed to it.
One name, way too many thoughts and emotions.
Jayclaw.
