Blind Little Crow Hoppin' Through the Snow(falcon)

Clawpaw made his way through StormClan territory, making certain to be careful with each step he took. After all, he already has problems not tripping on various objects in greenleaf, and it certainly was not helping to have everything be covered in a mousetail length of snow. And how he hated snow. "I am hardly even walking anymore, I'm wading," He grumbled to himself as he continued forward. "Why do I have to hunt in this weather, of all things?!" It made absolutely no sense to the tom. "Yeah, you may be blind, and you may be a dreadful hunter, and you will probably have to go alone, but you need to do more for your clan, Clawpaw," He mocked sarcastically.

The tom felt something in front of him, and reached out a paw to feel that it was a tree. I nearly walked head first into a tree. He thought angrily. Usually, he was a pretty happy tom. but right now, he was steaming. If only he could use that to heat up the area around him.

The tom raised his nose to the air and inhaled deeply, attempting to find a scent. but instead of prey, all he smelled was cat. "Hey," He called out, assuming they were close based on the intensity of the scent.

Crowpaw popped out of a snow drift "hi there Clawpaw, how you doing?" she bounced through the snow like a rabbit giggling she liked the snow, not as much as the river but the snow was still lots of fun "snow is pretty cold huh" she didn't mind that Clawpaw seemed angry, it was directed at her after all

Clawpaw's eyes widened with surprised as the voice came from much closer than he had expected. The tom whipped around to face the cat who had spoken. His could hear her now. He could hear the snow crunching under her feet as she did what he could only assume was leaping through the white fluffy gross stuff that littered the forest.

The tom let out a sigh. "Yeah, snow is cold," He responded. Great observation, apprentice. "Are you trying to hunt too? I am, but I haven't found anything yet," The tom used his paw to flick up a little snow, his ears pricked to hear it land delicately on the remaining snow. "It seems as though every edible thing has disappeared from the forest.

"Yup I was but I couldn't find much, so I was thinking about the snow and then I got bored so I jumped in it to see how deep it was" she chuckles "I think my Daddy would get lost in it" she grins "I can't wait for Newleaf, this snow is fun and all but my Mom could use more to eat" Crowpaw's happy mood dimmed slightly her tail flicking anxiously at the thought of her sick mother, she had caught green cough and Crowpaw didn't want to lose her

Clawpaw's ear gave a flick as the she-cat responded. His whiskers gave a twitch. "Let's hope you don't catch greencough from being in the snow for too long," He teased. So her dad is small...why are there so many small toms in StormClan?! He thought. He did not want to let this cat know, but he had absolutely no clue who she was. He did not recognize her voice, but she obviously knew who he was. Did he forget her? No, if he put a name to a voice, it stayed tucked in his brain until he needed to remember. He was completely drawing a blank.

He was caught up in desperately trying to figure out who this apprentice was as she rambled, and hardly noticed the sudden drop in volume in her voice as it trailed off. Sadness. The tom frowned. He hoped that his teasing had not made her upset since her mom was sick. but the past was the past, and it was too late to take it back. "I hope that she gets better," He mewed gently.

Crowpaw's tail flicked a little "Thanks I hope so too, I can't imagine not having her around, she's so awesome and she just makes my day better" her ears went flat against her head a little before she forced a brighter tone into her next words "but anyways I'm Crowpaw, I know you're brother Blackpaw, he and I are pretty good friends" she said trying her best to smile

OOC: I actually found out Clawpaw was Blackpaw's brother who I play XD

((oOo Whoa that is so weird and cool! I completely forgot about Clawpaw's family to tell you the truth. ^^' Was Blackpaw the deaf one, or was that a different one?))

Clawpaw listened, his ears pricked as he listened to the she-cat. He then flicked them to the sides in sadness and sympathy for the apprentice and her situation. Luckily, the topic changed quickly, so Clawpaw was able to return to his usual, sarcastic self.

Clawpaw internally yelped for joy. At least he could finally put a name to that voice. but for a moment, he was a bit confused, and it almost certainly showed on his face. Who was Blackpaw again? He searched his memory, hoping to find this brother's voice somewhere hidden in there, but nothing came to his head. "Oh really, that's pretty cool," He said, trying to remain nonchalant.

(Blackpaw was the other blind one)

Crowpaw nodded "he isn't much of a talker, prefers to keep to himself but I check on him now and again so that he doesn't get to lonely, he misses his family, nobody really keeps him company anymore so I think he might be a bit lonesome, he doesn't complain when I visit anyways" she shrugs

Clawpaw listened as the she-cat spoke more about his brother. The gears in his head started turning, and he suddenly remembered the tom. He was also blind, wasn't he? Clawpaw was not too sure. He never spent much time around his family. He much preferred meeting new cats instead of clinging to his siblings. When it came down to it, he just wanted to gain as many friends as possible. After all, the more friends a cat has, the less likely they will have to be alone. And Clawpaw hated being alone.

"Maybe I'll visit him sometime then," He responded. The tom gave his toes a wiggle, and then shifted his ears in search of the source of the sudden rustle. He flicked his ears back to face the she-cat, assuming that the rustle had just been from the wind. "So, do you have any siblings?" He asked.

Crowpaw's ears twitched a little at the sound wondering what it was before Clawpaw asked if she had any siblings "yeah, I had three siblings in my litter and my mom had a second litter of four as well we're a pretty big family" she chuckled "we aren't really close though, but we got each others backs if we need it and that's what matters" Crowpaw shifted on her paws to shake the snow off again

Whoa, that is a big family. Clawpaw thought. "And I thought I had a large family!" He laughed, his toes giving a slight wiggle as he trotted in a small circle. The snow crunched underneath his feet, and it comforted him to hear the sound if it even if he hated how it felt. "I have four siblings. I'm not too close with any of them though," He said, stopping his circling and faced where he knew his feet were. The tom looked up to where he assumed Crowpaw to be. "but I bet that we would all manage to get along if we needed to," He thought aloud. "Well, everyone except Oddpaw. He can't hear, I can't see. Yeah, it doesn't work out too well," He said, laughing a bit. "And I bet that he and Blackpaw couldn't be too close either for the same reason. His brow furrowed as he remembered his sister and final brother. "I haven't seen Poppypaw or Blizzardpaw since we were kits," He said. "I bet they are still causing a bunch of trouble somewhere!"

Crowpaw chuckled "and that doesn't even add in my Mom's mom, or her second litter, my grandma and her mate, and their kits and their kits kits" she full out laughed at the thought of the family of hers before listening to Clawpaw again "Oh I'm sure you and Blackpaw would get along and Oddpaw too, I mean sure you two can't see and Oddpaw can't hear but you're family and family loves each other and will always make time for family if they need someone to talk to"

Clawpaw smiled at the thought of having such a massive family. There would be so many cats to get help from, to talk to, to feel loved by. His family was not small by any means, but he really wouldn't know what it felt like to have so many cats on his side. After all, he never felt particularly close to any cat who shared his blood. His kin might as well have been any other cat in StormClan for all he knew about them. If only he had tried harder to become close with them when he was younger. Now it felt like it was too late. "Yeah, I am sure we would get along if we ever tried to." The tom sighed wistfully and blinked his blue eyes. "Maybe I should check up on Blackpaw(Blackstone) sometime. You know, just catch up and see how he is doing."

Crowpaw smiled "I'm sure he'd like that, he gets lonely sometimes cause he's blind he feels like no one wants to spend time with him, I'm sure he'd love to hear from his brother again" she chuckled "maybe you can help him stop being such a grump" she joked a little
