A raggedy mess pushed through the snow, a copper nose popped through and a brown tabby shook free his now, very, damp fur.
Rowanthorn sighed, a white cloud puffed out from his half open maw. This Leafbare was ridiculous! He grunted his way through the mess of soft powder and hard ice, towards the apprentice's den. "Foxpaw! Let's get going before it starts to snow!" the tom called into the opening. He raised his head, white muzzle pointed at the gathering gray clouds above.
He had originally planned a tour for his apprentice today, but the current weather conditions promised a heavy snowfall and he didn't want to risk getting stuck.
