ooc:// -dramatic entry music-
From his perch high in the tree, a sandy-orange tom had been watching everything unfold below. He had never seen such... anger from the Clans before... he wondered what had put them all so on edge. 'It remains a mystery...' Tilting his head curiously to one side as the arguments drew on, Ramble stood on his branch and arched his back in a stretch. As he was shifting into a new position, another argument caught his attention--this one was between a she-cat and that large tom who seemed to be getting on everyone's bad side... Flicking his tail, the tom hesitated. He made a point to not interfere with the Clans and their business, apart from some friendly conversation (when he could get away with it), but tension was making the air murky... his intervening could hardly make anything worse.
Slowly, calmly, still hearing the arguing drag on back and forth, Ramble picked his way down the tall tree and landed on the ground on the outskirts of the Gathering with a gentle thud. Tail raised and curled in a pleasant way, Ramble quietly padded along the edge before ducking a bit further in and approaching Amberclaw from the left. "Excuse me," he chimed, voice smooth and low--it was politely quiet, and he was sure not to get too close. "Sorry to bother you--would you mind telling me what all of this is?" Taking his pale eyes off of the she-cat for only a moment, the tom swept his gaze around the mass of cats. Of course, he had been around the area long enough to have the general idea of what was happening, but he figured his ignorant conversation starter would work well enough as a distraction as anything else.
Smiling his token lazy smile, Ramble's eyes landed politely back on Amberclaw.
