Wildpaw:
Wildpaw had never ventured this far away from her home. Her parents would have killed her for it but she didn't really care about what they had to say. She was a big girl, an apprentice in a new clan and so she was practically top cat. What could anyone else ask for? She knew how to fight and she would be careful not to run into the other clan's territories. It was certainly going to be a long walk though to get back home. Especially if she tired herself out from all this exploring. She had left at dawn and so she had been able to make it to the pool while it was still light. Wildpaw couldn't help it she enjoyed her freedom and the rock was sadly boring to stare at all the time. It was hard for her to hunt there too, where as here hunting couldn't be as difficult.
Her fur was warm from the sun so it was nice to find some shade amongst the trees that surrounded the pool. She couldn't help but feel happy and relaxed sitting beside the pool. It was a great place to stop and rest, but she wasn't allowed to go any further. Even a kit knew that going into other clans territories was against the Warrior Code. Of course Wildpaw didn't enjoy listening to it whatsoever, she still had to. Especially if she wanted to make a good first impression with her new clan leader. Someday she was going to be the best warrior in camp, maybe even deputy. It would be completely normal if it were to happen. No one could expect anything less from her as she was going to deliver.
She still hadn't figured out who her new mentor was going to be in the new clan. Her old mentor was difficult to deal with, he never let her do anything she wanted to. He was always you have to hunt for the clan and do boarder patrols for the clan and blah blah blah. She hated it and had never been scared to show her mentor how much she hated it. Today was for relaxing and exploring the new land, since she had never been here before.
