Lily was about to jump onto her favorite windowsill and look out into the forest when she noticed the door was cracked. Dumb twoleg! she thought, pushing the door open. She breathed in the lovely fresh-air and her eyes were moving everywhere, trying to see everything she could.

She jumped onto the white fence and sat down. but, she couldn't stay still for long, so she stood back up and jumped onto the soft grass. Maybe my owner won't notice I'm gone... I'm only going exploring...

She had been walking for quite awhile now, taking in her surroundings. She was walking at a slow pace. "Where am I?" she asked herself. She got a little bit scared, but then she smelled something strange.

That smells kinda like... Cats? she thought, her curiosity rising. She walked over the border unknowingly, trying to find someone that could possibly give her directions.

A dark silhouette paused at the edge of the tree-line, her paws shuffling in the sand. Pricking her ear-tips gently she sniffed the air, noting the faint scent of a thrush. but then the form froze as a new scent touched her nose, sprinkling it with the unfamiliar, yet known, scent of a kittypet.

Surprise rumbled through Tigerflights essence, it wasn't like kittypets to stray so near to the border. Etching her way to the border she caught site of the kitty, its puzzled look causing a smirk to appear on her face. Ah, it didn't know where it was. Well she would make sure that the kittypet found out. "I wouldn't cross the border if I where you!" She hollered over from her side.

As Lily saw another cat, she tried to get into a defensive stance, but it was rather sloppy.

"What are you talking about? Border?" she snarled, thought the snarl was weak and it could be easily confused with a purr. "Where am I, exactly?" she added quickly.

grey noticed lily from a distance and ran over as fast as he could. "Lily what's going on" grey mewed while staring at the other cat. He protectively put his tail in front of lily. "Back off" he growled. He looked at lily to make sure she was ok. He put himself between the other cat and lily to make sure that no one could hurt her.

"Hey! That cat couldn't hurt me if she tried!" she mewed, smirking. She walked beside him and sat down; she felt safer now that Grey was there.

"What are you doing here, anyways? This isn't the first time I've ran into you..." she mewed and curled her tail around her paws.

She had almost forgotten the strange cat was still there and she narrowed her eyes, still confused about borders.

Tigerflights eyes shimmered in the sun and she let out a small chuckle. "Chillax you two kittypets, I ain't gonna hurt you s long as you don't cross the border. Also, ya might wanna try working on your snarl." The warrior called across, sitting down mid-sentence as she warily watched the two cats. Boy, these kittypets...

"My name's Tigerflight by the way! I'm a warrior of Sunsetclan, the best clan in the forest! Tell me, what's it like being a kittypet? Must be pretty boring by standards." As Tigerflight talked, she could feel her fur warming in the sunlight and she gave a long good stretch, showing off her muscles. Yes, there were benefits to being born big.

"Nice to meet you and why would I leave a pretty she cat by themself." He mewed calmly. "To be truthful yrs, I've always wanted to be a warrior" he mewed. He looked at lily and smiled. "You know I mean it. You are pretty" he purred. He licked hr cheek lightly

Lily scowled when he said kittypet. The word sounded weak to her, and she thought she was fairly strong.

"Being a house cat is pretty great, if you ask me! Though the food isn't very good..."

When Grey licked her cheek, she flinched slightly and felt her pelt get hot. 'I barely even know him...' she thought.

"Ha great? Seriously? It's great to be fed hard rock-food and only to be allowed outside when you're given permission? To never learn how to hunt or fight for your clan? Oh well, your choice I guess." The she-cat turned to the grey tom that seemed to quite like the other kittypet. "Nice to meet you two."

She sighed, it looked like it would be a while before she could leave to go back to camp. "Just so you know, I'm gonna sit here until you leave. Sorry, I just can't let you guys cross the border."

"My house folk let's me leave whenever I want to," she mewed, "but I've never learned how to hunt, and I've never really been in a fight."

Lily continued to sit down, ignoring Tigerflight. "I think I can stay here as long as I want," she mewed stubbornly and began to groom her fur.

"Trust me, I've got all the time in the world." Now, it must be admitted that this wasn't entirely true, but to some extent she knew she could stay out longer than the kittypet. A bit moused off at the felines stubbornness, she started to sheath and unsheathe her claws, scratching at the dirt. "Well, I suppose I will have to get back at moonhigh because I'm training my appren-"

Suddenly the warrior pricked her ears, scenting the air behind her. A growl emanated from her lips, that scent was familiar. A little too familiar. Fox. Mouse-dung! It had to be when she was alone! Her gaze icy calm, she glanced at the two house cats behind her. "You two kittypets better run. And I'm not kidding. You're a bit too weak to get into a fox-fight. Don't worry, I'll probably distract it long enough for you to get away."

Grey scoffed. "I'm pretty sure one cat cannot fight a fox by themself" he mewed while getting up. "You'll need help" he crouched down getting ready to pounce when the fox emerged. He stood in front of lily to protect her and smirked. Nothing could break through him. He had someone to protect.

Lily froze for a moment when Tigerflame said something about a fox. She had heard about foxes. but she didn't know what they looked like, or how strong they were.

"I can help, too!" she mewed and moved to Grey's side. "I've never been in a fight before, but surely I can be some help, right?" she mewed, but she didn't sound entirely sure.

"Hey! I'll have you know, I'm a warrior of Sunsetclan! I've fought a few fox-battles in my time!" She meowed back, keeping a wary eye on the bush. "Sure thing kittypet, I suppose the fighting instinct must be in there somewhere, though you know you could die." Tigerflight told the she-cat, not exactly worried but not exactly willing to let the two handle it alone.

"Okay! A little bit of info on foxes. They are really territorial and are even worse if they have kits. Luckily for us, its leafbare so that's unlikely. Also, if either of you die ya can't pinpoint it on me!" Was the final reply, before Tigerflight caught a glimpse of the shiny red tail.

(I'm pretty sure we can all roleplay the fox.)

The fox leaped out of the bushes. Grey was the first to attack. He pounced on it while sinking his teeth into its fur. The fox threw him off. Grey winced in pain as he landed on his hind legs. Blood dropped from where he had bitten the fox. He tried to stand but couldn't get up. "Guys watch out" he called as the fox lunged at them.
