The moon hung heavy from the skylines, lighting the world up with metalic silvers and glowing lights. The air seemed alive with the night-time wild life. Owls hooted during their nightly foraging for mice and other treats. A few fireflies battled the stars for dominance in twinkling abilities. Even the freshly fallen snow seemed to sparkle with a life of it's own. Brightblossom was in awe over the beauty that the night could contain, and unfortunately she was wide awake with the awe at this time. She'd been trying repeatedly to get to sleep, but every little sound from outside the nursery had only managed to make her more alert. Which is how the lifelong queen had ended up leaving the den she'd been sanctioned to as soon as she'd graduated from an apprentice. It felt odd being a Queen in the nursery when she was neither with kits, or nursing them. but she knew it was the best place for her to be. She couldn't hunt, she couldn't fight (at least not with severe harm to her delicate psyche), but she excelled with helping the Queens with their kits, and babysitting them with the Queens needed a break. She enjoyed spending time with the youthful tykes as well.
but everyone else was currently sleeping, everyone but her it seemed. She sat quietly near the nursery, ready to run back inside if she was needed for anything at all. but for now, the female was enjoying her time to herself. She curled her furry tail around her paws to keep them warm, her thick, fluffy for doing wonders in keeping the ginger and dark grey calico warm even in the coldness of the night. The she-cat let a soft sigh out, looking around slowly. It was a lovely night truly, but she was completely wide awake. Wide awake and utterly alone. Utterly alone . . . and lonely. Shaking her head slowly, she ignored the thought, looking back up the moon as it bathed her in the luminescent silver rays, her pale yellow eyes nearly washed out to a white color, and her white pelt nearly glowing from the moonlight. It was a lovely night, and even if there was no one else around, she could still enjoy the night.
(OOC:// muse tampered off towards the end. but anyone can jump in. I just want to try and get the sweetheart a little more active.)
Stormsy -- I had this open post that has been unanswered so you can throw Jay into here if you'd like.
