You weren’t there. You were never there. While her mouth was full of vole, she smiled ever so slightly and kneaded her paws at his compliment. She placed her catch down and her expression went back to normal. She dipped her head in approval, "same with yours" she complimented. "Sorry I left you there for a minute... My senses just kind of took over" while she didn't sound very apologetic, she did realize she walked away from him mid-sentence without excusing herself. She then wondered if they should hunt again or go home. With it being leaf fall, they were lucky to have gotten catches so quickly. "Well that was a bit too quick...
