Sorrel sat quietly in front of the stream, grooming herself and alternating between watching what she was doing and glancing at her reflection to ensure that she was well within her personal standards of pretty. And the she cat was definitely pretty. Pretty and exotic with her long, lean legs. Her large ears, her vibrant copper pelt, long fur, and plummed tail. She pulled her gaze away twitching her tail before standing and moving to begin her day, in the need to hunt. She wa starving. No, more than that, she was ravenous. The she-cat took off at a casual gate, tail lifted, paws daintly touching the ground, before pulling away with barely an imprent left behind in her wake. Her tail twitched as she smiled before half opening her mouth to scent for prey.
A scent crossed her path. Earthy, smelling faintly like clover . . . . mhmm, was that rabbit? Instantly she took off, moving with an elegance that came from being a lean and delicate cat as she took after the rabbit. She soon spotted the creature, slowing down and lowering herself close to the ground, sneaking up silently before leaping at the last moment. Her teeth snagged around the rabbit's neck, and with a quick snap, she killed it before it had time to realize what had happened. Picking up the small prize, the small, but plump rabbit swung from her mouth, a lucky prize this late in the year.
Her tail flicked with pleasure as she moved to a perch beneath a tree, laying the rabbit down at her feet and digging into it, eyes closing as she ate the delicious meat tucked into the plump body. Just what she was hoping for. She was halfway through her rabbit before she suddenly sat up straight, eyes wide, ears alert. A sound. To her left. She looked around slowly, eyes hooded slightly in confusion, her tail coiling aorund her prey, "Is somewhere there?"
