OOC: I'll apologize right now for the un-creative title. Sorry this is late again. I sort of forgot.

IC:

Sunstar stood in the middle of camp, watching the minimum activity in camp. It was nearly dawn and the only cats that would be leaving soon was the dawn patrol. "All cats loyal to LeafClan, gather for a clan meeting!" She yowled, hoping it would be enough to wake the clan.

She waited a little bit for the clan to gather then began again. "Today we have some cats who are ready to advance in rank. If the following would step up when they are called;

Silverpaw, Lionhearted, you have shown your loyalties to LeafClan and now I would be honored to give you your warrior name. From this time forward you will be known as Silverbranch.

Icepaw, Isilme, you have shown your loyalties to LeafClan and now I would be honored to give you your warrior name. From this time forward, you will be known as Iceheart.

Duskpaw, Dyzzie, You have shown your loyalties to LeafClan and now I would be honored to give you your warrior name. From this time forward, you will be known as Duskpounce.

Stormpaw, Nepeta, you have shown your loyalties to LeafClan and now I would be honored to give you your warrior name. From this time forward you will be known as Stormfrost.

Poolkit, Sand, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Poolpaw. I hope Cedarfrost, Lionhearted, will help you along the way.

Poppykit, Sand, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Poppypaw. I hope Liontuft, Twineheart, will help you along the way.

Alderkit, Roselocke, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Alderpaw. I hope Willowbranch, Ambrose, will help you along the way.

Rosekit, @shimmerstar1161, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Rosepaw. I hope Moonpelt, Isilme, will help you along the way.

Dovekit, :-Misa-:, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Dovepaw. I hope Beetlestrike, Roselocke, will help you along the way.

Lilykit, @rachie66756, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Lilypaw. I hope Rivercloud, nomstar, will help you along the way.

The golden tabby smiled softly as she finished. "I am proud to welcome our newest warriors and apprentices to LeafClan. I do hope they will do their best to serve their clan with honor." She mewed before stepping back to let the cats mingle in the early morning light.

Silverbranch held his head high as he regarded Sunstar. "Thank you," he murmured, even though he knew she would not hear; they were too busy chanting the names. Nodding in respect, he wove his way among his Clanmates; he experienced a rush of elation. He was a warrior now, and had full rights to the whole of the territory.

He was bitterly proud.

Cedarfrost nodded and sought out Poolpaw. "Hello," he said warmly, "I'm Cedarfrost. You are Poolpaw, correct?"

Light golden eyes opened at the sound of his leader. The Tom was of strange heritage, with his lovely Abyssian fur, just as he pushed himself up. Light muscles rippled under the kits coat as he passed forth with a few blinks of his vivid eyes, his small paws lightly brushing the fresh grass rested upon the ground. With a flick of his tail, the quiet tom settled down, before he heard his own voice pierce the air. With a light smile, the Tom pushed himself up as he took his title proudly. Yes! I am an apprentice! A soft smile touched his features as he passed forth, lightly touching his nose to his mentor's to complete his ceremony of apprenticeship.

Liontuft who'd been slowly waking up within the warrior's den, pauses in his morning grooming when he hears the voice of Sunstar. Without hesitation the tom, exits the den moving swiftly towards their new found leader Sunstar. Dipping his head to the she-cat he finds himself a seat and awaits her words. His serious pale leaf green eyes watching as cats dragged themselves from their nests to join. Once all had entered, the clearing fell silent and Sunstar made her speech. When the ceremony ended, Liontuft rose proudly to his paws in search of his new apprentice. His eyes scan the mass of cats and find the young she-cat. " Poppypaw!" He calls out, padding over swiftly and touching noses with her. He had to lean down some in order to do so due to his height. His scruffy orange fur gleaming as the sun started to peak over the horizon.

OOC: Rachie, we meet again... I will make a training thread (sometime).

Rivercloud looked up in surprise when her name was called. Me, a mentor?! She licked her pelt to smooth down her fur and padded over to Lilypaw. I hope that I'll be a good mentor she thought, as she lent forwards to touch noses with her apprentice. Her new apprentice.

Duskpaw's ears flicked - excited. Nervous. Determined. Today was his day. Well his, and many others. but becoming a warrior would be more than just a new name to the tom. It was a new set of responsibilities, and more importantly - a certain promise from a certain deputy. The tom stepped forward as his name was called, grinning with pride as he accepted his new name. Duskpounce. He liked it. Instantly his gaze turned towards the deputy, a sparkle in his green eyes, a silent reminder that tomorrow, after he'd taken his stand of vigileance that night, he'd search her out, anticipating that moment. but for now, Duskpounce would first search for Wolfpaw, Willowbranch had a new apprentice to meet, though he was already counting the minutes before he could get her alone again.

OOC: This time you're the mentor! XP

Rosekit- no, paw- looked around, green eyes sparkling. She was finally an apprentice! She was trying to seek out... Who was it? Moonpelt? She hesitated, and then took a deep breath. Don't be nervous. You've been waiting for this all your life!

Dawn meant duty. 
Willowbranch pushed her petite body off the ground, bringing her back legs in to stand up. Many warriors had left. Surely I can't be late?  Thankfully, Willowbranch wasn't late. It would have been extremely embarrassing. She padded hastily out of the Warriors' Den, standing at the front, near to Sunstar. Willowbranch tuned in to the leader's speech. "Duskpaw. You have shown your loyalties to LeafClan, and I would be honoured to give you your warrior name. From this time forward, you will be known as Duskpounce," Sunstar announced. What a great name. Duskpounce had pounced, snatching up Willowbranch's heart. She desired to run over to him, and lick his cheek, but that would have to wait; she felt that she'd get an apprentice today. 
How right she was! Her tail darted up as Alderkit was assigned to her. Willowbranch made her way to him, and he made his way to her. "Hey Alderpaw! I'm gonna try to teach you how to be the best warrior ever! I hope it works; I'm sure it will!" she purred, touching noses with her new apprentice, smiling.


When the ceremony was over, Willowbranch sashayed her way to Duskpounce, finding him quickly. "Nice name, Duskpounce. We have places to be." She turned around and headed out of camp.

At his mentor's words, Alderpaq grinned softly,"That sounds amazing, Willowbranch." With a soft jump, the apprentice was completely ready to start training, and so with a wiggle of his haunches, he leaped away, off to find some other cat to interact with.

Poolkit had been in the nursery watching all the other kits when he heard Sunstar call a clan meeting. His eyes lighting up her jumped to his paws knowing that today was the day that he would become an apprentice. 'I can't wait,' he thought as he walked out of the nursery his head held high. Then he sat down where the rest of the clan was gathering and sat down waiting for Sunstar to make him an apprentice. He listened to the leader name so apprentices as warriors and he nearly jumped to his paws in excitement when he heard his name called. 'Poolkit you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Poolpaw. I hope Cedarfrost, will help you along the way.' he heard the leader announce and he quickly looked around for the cat who was to be his mentor.

Hearing a cat behind him say they were his mentor and asking him if he was Poolpaw he quickly turned around to see another tom. "Yes, I'm Poolpaw," he meowed to his mentor his eyes showing the excitement he felt at finally being named an apprentice. He hoped him and his mentor could get started since it wasn't really even dawn yet. He looked around seeing his friend Poppypaw with her mentor and he wondered if she would start her training to day or if she would be stuck in camp.

He turned his attention back to his mentor and decided to ask the question on his mind. "Will we be going out into the territory today?" he asked. As a kit he had always dreamed of going out into the territory and now as an apprentice he could. Of course he would always have to have his mentor or another warrior with him when he went out into the territory.

Poppykit was sound asleep in the nursery but was woken up when she heard the familiar summons of a clan meeting. Letting out a yawn she got to her paws and shook some stray moss out of her fur before noticing that her mother was still asleep. She prodded her mother until the queen let out a sleepy yawn and raised her head. "Come on it's starting," she meowed waiting impatiently for her mother to get up and walk out of the nursery so that she could follow. Once her mother left the nursery she bounded after her and remained standing as she waited impatiently to be made into an apprentice hearing her name she perked up.

'Poppykit you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Poppypaw. I hope Liontuft will help you along the way. she heard her leader announce. After the meeting ended she looked around for the cat who would be her apprentice.She blinked when a big tom approached her and she got to her paws and touched noses with him before stepping back. "When do we begin?" she asked.

A sleeping figure lay curled in the Warrior's Den as every other warrior moved, the small tom's piercing hazel eyes closed. His dreams were quite simple, just him hunting in the forest, until Sunstar flashed in his mind. No! Yet he could not stop it as she appeared in his dreams once more. Why was she always wiggling her beautiful self into his dreams? It was...Weird the way he felt. He didn't like anyone in that way, right? but he could in no way continue as he felt a paw awaken him.

With an open of his right hazel eyes, he noticed it was a warrior poking him awake, until he saw in the background all the cats surrounds in the clearing. With a jolt, Beetlestrike quickly pushed himself up and gave his fur a swift grooming, before he rushed into the clearing. Glancing up, he smiled softly as he saw Sunstar, and so with a flick of his tail, he moved into crowd. Awaiting the ceremonies to be done.

With a soft smile, he padded forward to meet Sunstar,"See, you did just fine with that, Sunstar. Already I can see you as a great leader." Beetlestrike's meow was firm as he nodded, and then let another smile touch his features,"Would you maybe like to go hunting? Just to support the clan of course." Adding the last sentence hastily, he awaited her reply with his deep hazel gaze.

Liontuft's eyes gleam down at his new apprentice, glad to see she was eager to get started. Good he hadn't been stuck with some lazy cat who wanted to slack off. That would of driven him crazy, no he needed an intelligent apprentice he could show all he knew to. As he looked down at Poppypaw he hoped she was that cat. " How about right now?" He suggests, flickering his scruffy white tail towards the camp exit. " We have a lot to cover before your a warrior." he adds his serious gaze gleaming, as he watches her. He didn't have much to do with young cats, kits tended to find his size threatening and he never spoke much with apprentices. but now he had this young cat to train, and couldn't help but wonder what she thought of him. I'll show her, he thought determinedly. I'm not the same cat I was when I was her age....
Suddenly another thought drifted into his head. Rivercloud, one of his seven siblings had also been given an apprentice. " You go wait by the camp exit." He tells Poppypaw, and without another words he turns into the sea of cats to find Rivercloud. He couldn't help but feel nervous as he spots the she-cat and approaches. Him and his siblings weren't exactly on good terms. but he was determined to mend their broken bonds. " Rivercloud! " he calls trotting over. " Congrats on the apprentice." He says looking from her to Lilypaw. His serious leaf green eyes trying to convey happiness to his sibling.

Poppypaw just nodded and turned towards the camp entrance to walk there but was stopped by her mother. After being congratulated by her mother she headed for the camp entrance. She sat down near the camp entrance curling her tail neatly over her paws as she waited for her mentor.

Dovekit shoved her way through the entrance of the nursery, just as eager as the rest of the kits. How could she not be after all, today was the day she would begin her journey of becoming the best warrior Leafclan had ever seen. 
The ball of white fur pushed her way around trying to find a seat towards the front of the crowd, leaving her mother and uncle to trail amused behind her. Rather then sitting near her however, they sat off to the side, pride glowing heavily in each of their eyes. 

"Dovekit, you have reached the age of six moons and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From now until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Dovepaw. I hope Beetlestrike will help you along the way."

Dovepaw

She was not Dovepaw, apprentice of her clan. She could now help them. Help feed her mother and uncle, help feed the kits and take care of the elders. Puffing her chest out proudly she looked around, 'Now where is Beetlestrike?'

Sunstar glanced up as Beetlestrike padded over. She smiled a bit at his comment. "Thanks Beetlestrike. How do you feel about having an apprentice? I hope you're all right with it." She mewed quickly. So far, no one had objected to being a mentor so she had just figured everyone would be fine with it.

She tilted her head slightly at the mention of going hunting. "I've still got a bit of stuff to do, but you can take a patrol out if you want. It would be good to get some more prey." She mused thoughtfully.
