Firepaw Of Sunsetclan

The fiery tom looked over when he heard someone talk to him, it looked like another apprentice, he smiled "Hello I'm Firepaw I'm from Sunsetclan, what about you?" Firepaw knew his scent but he wanted to keep talking with this new cat, and not just have it get a small few words

Adderstriep padded in to the gathering place. He sat down and sighed. He was worried about his kits and how they were coping. He was really worried about firekit, his kit who had no leg. He had come to the gathering hoping to relax. He looked around hoping for another cat to talk to.

~Blueshade of MidnightClan~ (Skiv)

Blueshade was beginning to grow bored sitting where she was, when a handsome tom appeared, greeting her rather politely. Her first instinct was to snort and roll her eyes at the over-formality of it the cat's behaviour, but after remembering that it was the Gathering and one of those rare times she COULD let her guard down, she decided to be...well, nice, for once.

"Yes, it is. Luckily it's cooler at night, or I won't stand the heat even for this Gathering," she meowed, eyeing the tom.

Rowanpaw saw WhisperClan and SunsetClan arriving, and knew she was about to have a time of her life knowing that more apprentices. One apprentice caught her eye, and she quickly weaved her way through the throng of cats to meet the ginger tabby she-cat who seemed contented talking with what Rowanpaw assumed was an elder. When she arrived, she stood a respectful distance away, waving her tail.

"Hello, I'm Rowanpaw from LeafClan. Are you WhisperClanners?" she greeted.


~Kestrelflight of SunsetClan~

Kestrelflight was happy that Vineheart took over and led them to the Pond of Truce; the brown Bengal didn't want to stay in camp for too long whereas he could be chattering away with cats of the other Clans without prejudice or hostility, thanks to the truce of the full moon. Cheerily, as the deputy gave the signal to disperse, he bounded to into the area, green eyes twinkling as he searched for cats to sit or talk with. The spotted tom was sure there were many new faces to meet, and it excited him a little, even if a cat his age was supposed to be serious.

Well, age was just a number for him.

Applepaw of Whisperclan
The ginger tabby nodded, ignoring Adderstep's lisp as well. "Yes, it is, to both questions," Applepaw said. "I've never seen so many cats in one place before." Movement from the forest distracted her for a moment, and she watched as a clan emerged and drew closer. The salty fish smell that wafted from the approaching cats revealed them to be Sunsetclan. Two more clans left, the young she-cat thought. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw an apprentice standing nearby, looking at her and the white warrior. "Hello," Applepaw said politely, nodding to the unfamiliar she-cat after Rowanpaw introduced herself. "We are Whisperclanners; I'm Applepaw and this is Adderstep."


Mossbrook of Sunsetclan
A brown tabby padded along in the middle of the group that had just reached the Pond of Truce. Golden eyes twinkling in an easy smile, Mossbrook looked around the crowd of gathered cats. As the night air filled with chatter, the warrior looked around for someone he didn't know to talk to, or even an ongoing conversation he could listen to.

-Midnightclan-

Silverpaw had to control herself as she walked with the rest of her clan towards the Pond of Truce. She wanted to run ahead of all them and be the first one there. She couldn't wait! She was so excited about her first gathering ever, and occasionally you could see her give a little jump as she padded along. As they reached their destination and she looked down into the area, she was a little disappointed that none of the other clans were there yet. Oh well, they will be soon. Since there was the truce tonight, she was going to use that time to meet the cats from the other clans. At Bramblestar's signal, the clan all separated into their own groups, and Silverpaw rushed off along with them.

Ivyleaf was near the back of the horde of cats as Midnightclan arrived at the Pond of Truce. Bramblestar gave the signal and all the cats moved off to do their own thing, but the white and silver-patched she-cat barely moved. She was disappointed that Stormclan wasn't here yet- no one was here yet besides them. Slowly she padded off towards the edge of the pond where none of the other cats were, and took a seat, curling her tail over her paws.

Firelight followed close behind Sunstar as Leafclan made their way down to the Pond of Truce. They were the second to arrive- right after Midnightclan. The golden tabby leader didn't hesitate as she gave the command and her cats moved off, and she headed off towards the boulder where the leaders sat. She glanced around in search of a white pelt, a specific tom, but couldn't find him. She couldn't help the pang of sadness as she realized he wasn't here. I shouldn't be surprised. He wouldn't be interested in gatherings. Trying to push off her own disappointment, she padded off towards the rest of the cats, trying to find something to do.

The brown tom looked uneasily around. This was his first Gathering, and it was huge. He had expected a large congregation, but he was still slightly overwhelmed. Glancing around for another apprentice, he approached she-cat who looked quite excited. "Hello, what's your name?" he asked. She smelled of MidnightClan, but this was a peaceful truce night, and he decided not to spit bad things. "Are you from MidnightClan?"

The large white tom loped alongside Vineheart, somewhat humiliated to go. He was determined to participate anyway, out of sheer curiosity of what the other Clan leaders had to say. Especially about Vineheart leading the Clan instead of Ratstar. However, he discovered that Thrushleap had lead WhisperClan too. Two leaders- is there something going on? He weaved through the mass of cats, looking for someone to chat with.

Oh, this was exciting. She loved Gatherings, and loved to hear other Clans' gossip, and exchange it with LeafClan's news. "Anyone wanna talk?" she asked out loud, unafraid of getting stares. She must bring back some news! And why were Vineheart and Thrushleap at the head of their Clans instead of the leaders? Flicking her tail, she craned her neck, listening for anything interesting.

Vineheart - Deputy of SunsetClan

"All right? Looks like it's just TalonClan and StormClan left. How are you doing?"

At the friendly greeting of Thrushleap, Vineheart brought her petite frame to a stop and curled her long, plumbed tail around delicate paws. She had time for the WhisperClan deputy - the tom always friendly and approachable. Not only that, but he didn't stare at her rudely and make her scars heavier than they were. Bringing her strong gaze over to rest on the tom to her right, Vineheart nodded, wondering the same about the whereabouts of his leader. The conversation with Ratstar rang through her head again but she brushed it off and fixed him with a friendly expression. "I'm sure they will be here soon. I'm doing OK thank you Thrushleap. Busy as always. And yourself? Beautiful night for a gathering." Unlike some individuals, Vineheart didn't feel the need to make her clan appear stronger than they were and jump to the defensive. They were already strong and this was a night of peace not a chance to survey out the opposition.

Silverpaw looked around as she heard someone nearby speak to her, and realized another apprentice had approached her. She must not have noticed during her excitement. He looked a little overwhelmed to be around such a large amount of cats, I guess not everyone is as excited as I am to be at the gathering. She gave a little nod as she responded, "Yep! You must be from Whisperclan, right?" She guessed from the scent that clung to his fur. "Oh, my name's Silverpaw, what's yours?" The little she-cat sat in the grass as she chatted with him, seemingly much calmer now except for her tail's constant flicking out of excitement of being here.

~Rowanpaw of LeafClan~ (Babylonranger)
The ginger she-cat nodded to the two, taking in the sight of th3 elderly Adderstep before turning back to Applepaw. These two were the first contact with WhisperClan Rowanpaw had in her entire life, and she took a bit of time taking in what was distinct about them - their scent which reminded her of grass and wind, alongside their lean and lanky frame. They really did look like fast runners in their prime.

"It's my first Gathering, and it's quite amazing. I've never seen a WhisperClan cat before," she approached the pair before taking a seat just ahead of them. "Are you really the fastest runners of all the Clans? As fast as the wind?"


~Sparkleap of LeafClan~ (Mossbrook)
The golden tabby swallowed thickly as he scanned the milling ranks of cats, hoping there was at least one he could engage in conversation with before the leaders called for the Gathering to begin. He could see a blue she-cat with a golden-furred tom in the shade of the monolith, but he wasn't in the mood for interrupting or anything.

Sparkleap continued looking, padding and squeezing through the other felines - the place was getting a little bit crowded with SunsetClan and WhisperClan joining in. As he thought that, a salty tang hit his nose, summoning a memory of his Clan borders into his mind. He turned his head towards the source of the scent, his amber eyes spotting golden ones that twinkled against brown tabby fur.

"H-Hello, there! I've not seen you around our border before," he greeted the tom, bowing his head slightly.


~Kestrelflight of SunsetClan~ (Twix Wolf)
The Bengal was getting a little bored of looking around for a companion; some part of him was really hoping to see his sister Mothsky around, and he craned his neck for a few good moments to find her again. No luck. It's getting even harder to see her.. Oh well. He padded over to the edge of the pond, wanting to cool his paws a little, when he saw a patched silver tabby she-cat sitting by herself. He twitched his whiskers in amusement. Well, that's one cat.

Changing course towards the she-cat, he ducked his head as he greeted, "Good evening to you, young warrior. Do I have the honour of acquainting with, and perhaps sitting with you for this Gathering tonight?"

-Midnightclan- (Carotius)

Ivyleaf had been staring into the pond for awhile in silence, watching the stars and the moon twinkle, reflected in the pool of water. She looked up to see a brown bengal tom padding towards her. In all honesty she wasn't in the mood to talk to this stranger- Then why are you at the gathering? The answer was obvious. Still she decided there was no point in being rude and casually responded, "Sure, if you'd like. I'm Ivyleaf, it's nice to meet you, and you are?" The words were a little forced but she was still glad to be talking to someone, it was better than sitting here moping at least. Anyways, Stormclan still wasn't here yet, there was a chance he would show..

Adderstep nodded "faster then rabbits sometimes" he lisped out the s sounds the worst but he refused to flinch in front of an apprentice "got to careful hunting them sometimes, yesterday I nearly trampled one" he joked with a chuckle "So Rowanpaw how's you training coming along, enjoying your lessons?" he knew Leafclanners were great climbers and he didn't want the apprentice to be nervous around him due to his appearance Carotius

Applestream of Sunsetclan

The full moon was beautiful as always and glimmered off the pond that held the boulder clan leaders gathered on. Admittedly, the ginger tom would much rather see the sun shine off of his ocean, but the vision of a full moon reflected by the Pond of Truce was a close second in terms of what he viewed as beautiful. Applestream followed Sunsetclan's entrance and quickly looked around for Kestrelflight (Carotius), the tom he had met not too long ago. The Bengal was sitting with a she-cat who smelled of Midnightclan and Applestream came over to the group just as he heard the end of her introduction.

"Sorry to interrupt, but could I join you two as well?" He said with a grin. "I'm Applestream."


Stagpaw of Midnightclan

To say that Stagpaw was excited was an understatement. He was literally bouncing on his paws. He was anew apprentice and hadn't actually seen anyone from other clans. He had smelled them, yes, but seeing them was something entirely different. Seeing them made the other clans real. And, really, the ginger tom was better than gossiping with the other apprentices. No, he would search out a warrior to talk to, and finding one wasn't actually as hard as it seemed. There was a she-cat who smelled of Leafclan (Firelight Twix), and he did not hesitated in walking up to her and introducing himself.

"How's the prey running?" he asked, chest puffed to show his confidence.

Pearfrost of Leafclan

The large, pale ginger cat wasn't actually sure why xe had come to the Gathering. It wasn't like xe cared to meet other cats, especially those from other clans. Being at a Gathering invited people to assume xe was a tom, though xe couldn't actually blame them. Xe, after all, smelled and looked male, and even sometimes felt like it. but, still, it was tiring to sit back and listen to other misgender xer. All xe wanted to do was sleep, even if the night sky was beautiful. Pearfrost fell back on a reliable source of passing time; xe sat back and looked up to the sky, daydreaming about training xer apprentice and catching a fat squirrel.

Mothsky of WhisperClan (Carotius)

The calico she-cat sought out her brother in the crowd, narrowing her deep blue eyes as she scanned the clearing of bodies. Finally, she spotted his golden bengal pelt sitting by the pond with another cat, a silver tabby. Her thin form found it easy to weave her way through the many cats until she finally reached her destination. "Kestrelflight!" Mothsky called his name as she approached, a purr rising in her throat as she arrived next to him, affectionately nuzzling his cheek. "I was looking everywhere for you!"

Firelight had been padding around the pond for awhile now. She hadn't felt the urge to sit and talk with anyone yet, but in reality she was still checking for him. Though she still knew he wouldn't be there, she couldn't help but to check. She finally stopped when an apprentice walked up to her and meowed a greeting. She can tell by his scent that he was from Midnightclan. "It's running well in Leafclan. How are things in Midnightclan?" She didn't mean much by her question- though she hoped he wouldn't get defensive about it, like some of the cats do at the gathering.

Applepaw of Whisperclan
The ginger tabby grinned and chuckled self-consciously, curling her tail around her white paws. "It's my first Gathering too, and I've really only come into contact with Stormclan patrols. I was telling Adderstep I've never seen so many cats in one place before."

Applepaw laughed at Adderstep's joke, happy to let him answer and ask Rowanpaw questions of his own. She watched the ginger-furred apprentice eagerly, her golden eyes bright and happy.

The striped and flecked tabby warrior smiled at the handsome (if nervous) golden tabby in front of him. "Hello," he said, nodding politely in return. "I hunt a little more often than I patrol, so that might be the reason we've not met before. My name is Mossbrook, what's yours?" Glancing around the clearing, he noticed it already felt crowded. "I hope Talonclan and Stormclan don't bring too many cats tonight, there're already so many cats here someone's tail is likely to be trod on."
