Firetooth padded into camp his jaws filled with prey, today was surprisingly good hunting, or maybe he was just getting better he chuckled a little at the thought and set the prey down sorting it for the queens, kits, and elders wondering what else he might do today, he didn't really have any plans FlickeringNebula

Silverpaw woke from her nap to see Firetooth padding into camp, his jaws full of prey. ''good hunting'' she thought. since she didn't have any chores to do Silverpaw decided that she might as well go talk to Firetooth, the young warrior had always left an impression on Silverpaw. He was just so... anyways Silverpaw padded over to her clanmate.

Firetooth looked up hearing someone come over "oh hello Silverpaw" he said, he didn't know the apprentice very well but he had seen her around the camp now and again, at least enough to learn her name anyway "nice weather isn't it?" he looked up at the sky his tail flicking slightly

"hello Firetooth, the weather is, well hot" replied Silverpaw. "How was hunting" she asked though she assumed it was good from the amount of fresh kill brought in. It was stinking hot and Silverpaw REALLY wanted to get cool. "Do you want to go swimming with me"? she asked Firetooth.

"hunting was very well I'm sure the clan will be very pleased" Firetooth nodded when she mentioned it was hot, cause it was but at least he had been hunting in the sea so his fiery pelt was at least still cool "sure a swim sounds like a lot of fun" he answered her question

Silverpaw gestured for Firetooth to follow her down to the water. She couldn't believe he had said yes! Why would a warrior want to hang out with her, an apprentice. "Firetooth has only recently became a warrior though" she thought. Silverpaw was exited for swimming, for she had always felt at ease in the water. "why can't the other clans see how awesome water is" she wondered.

Firetooth padded into the water automatically adjusting his weight so he wouldn't sink, though he was not born in Sunsetclan he had been brought their young enough that he could learn to swim without being to uncomfortable and now he did it as naturally as any of his adopted clan mates could

Silverpaw waded into the cool, refreshing water, Firetooth at her side. He looked so calm and unexpecting. This was the perfect opportunity... Silverpaw gently splashed Firetooth and chuckled. Now he he wasn't expecting that. Then she swam away willing him to chase her. It had been so long since she last played in the water... before her kin died.

Firetooth blinked when the water struck him then dived under the water to swim hoping to catch Silverpaw off guard and maybe drag her down for a splash war as well if he managed to swim faster enough he could do it, but he had to be careful to keep enough air in his lung

Silverpaw dwadled around, not expecting anything. Surely Firetooth wouldn't be brave enough to splash her after that.
She had sure gotten him !!! Plus she had swam super far from shore to avoid getting a splash back. Now she could relax. The water had a million shimmering diamonds in it and the clouds looked like rabbit puffs, whatever those where.

Firetooth leapt out of the water almost like a fish grabbing Silverpaw and pulling her under the water with him, his grip was firm but gently so if she wanted to be released to swim to the surface she could do so easily after all he was only playing with her

Next thing she knew, Silverpaw was underwater and Firetooth was holding her down. She managed to escape his grasp and swam to the surface where she splashed a giant splash right in Firetooth's face. "ha-ha got you" she giggled. Then Silverpaw remembered something. There was this place on Sunset Island that she liked. Maybe she should show Firetooth? Yes! It was a beautiful place, and all cats deserved to know about it. "Follow me" she shouted.

Firetooth nodded following her when she asked him to he knew she was heading toward Sunset Island, he'd been there a few times himself, he rather liked it there, when he had time to relax of course, he hadn't been there lately though cause he wanted to make sure that the clan was fed
