Thrushleap paused in front of Fangstar's den, his ears pricked for any kind of sound that would emerge. Frowning, he shook his head and walked away, not daring to question Fangstar's absence. Work had been somewhat laggy, but he was proud of his Clan for making efforts to stay strong. There had been plenty of kits, and he took pride in the fact that some of them were his. They would be apprenticed soon enough, but he had to give the ceremonies that were due today. Leaf-fall was nearing, and he wanted some apprentices to start their training before it got too cold. Stiff joints were not good anytime. Standing up, he strode into the clearing, giving his Clanmates a sweep with his eyes before sitting down.Opening his jaws, he called out:
"Let all those old enough to run with the wind join me for a Clan meeting!" He felt more confident than the last time, because it had been a success then; he still remembered some skeptical looks he'd gotten from some warriors, but he brushed them off. Whatever, they can think what they want. He paused to watch his Clanmates congregate before him, and nodded his head in a curt greeting, giving those nearest a tight smile before his face returned to its usual natural smirk. He stood up, seeking out those who he was going to address.
"We are gathered here today to witness the ceremonies of kits and apprentices," he said. "We will move forward, no matter how stuck things seem. and with that, we shall begin with the apprentice ceremonies.
"Dusk-kit (Twix), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Duskpaw. Cedarfoot (ℓυиαя), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your knowledge unto Duskpaw.
"Riverkit (Isilme), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Riverpaw. Applestrike (Babylonranger), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Riverpaw.
"Brightkit (εℓιzαвεтн.), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Brightpaw. Harebreeze (Isilme), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your knowledge unto Brightpaw.
"Raggedkit ([Acro.]), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Raggedpaw. Frostberry (Lionhearted), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Raggedpaw." Thrushleap paused for a moment, considering his choice of mentor. Was it a smart move to give his former brother an apprentice? Especially someone as devoted and compassionate as Raggedpaw... did it show trust? He hoped to redress pass issues with the white tom, who stared back with his icy gaze. Although it wasn't really a glare... Thrushleap looked past him and decided to go on. They could talk later.
"Silverkit (Heron), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Silverpaw. Icepelt (Islime), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Silverpaw.
"Harekit (Babylonranger), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Harepaw. Sunfeather (Skiv), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your knowledge unto Harepaw. I know you already have an apprentice, but I have great confidence that you will be able to train another." He looked at the other tom in the eyes when he said so; hopefully, this also showed some trust, and understanding, although it was, in Thrushleap's opinion, a lame and untrue way of showing so. You're still my best friend, no matter what, Sunfeather.
"Cinderkit (Ɗaisy), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Cinderpaw. Vixenmist (Wolf), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Cinderpaw.
"Rustkit (Twineheart), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Rustpaw. Mothsky (Wolf), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Rustpaw.
"Beekit (Wolf), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Beepaw. Applestrike (Babylonranger), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Beepaw as well as Riverpaw. I trust in your ability to mentor two apprentices at once, and I am confident that both will turn out to be superb warriors.
"Bloomkit (Wolf), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be Bloompaw. Wolf-flight (Phantomspirit), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Bloompaw.
"Squirrelkit (Wolf), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be Squirrelpaw. Badgerfrost (Twix), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Squirrelpaw.
"Skykit (Falcon), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Skypaw. Lakepounce (Lionhearted), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Skypaw. You already have an apprentice, and the training is going along well. I trust that you can train Skypaw as well as Blizzardpaw.
"Meadowkit (Puddlesdog), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Meadowpaw. Icepelt (Islime), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Meadowpaw. I also have faith that you can train two apprentices, and I'm sure they will turn out to be excellent warriors to WhisperClan.
"Turtlekit (Roselocke), you have reached the age of six moons, and are ready to begin your warrior training. Until you have received your warrior name, you will be known as Turtlepaw. Duskrunner (Vinepool), you are a dedicated warrior, and I hope you can pass down your skills unto Turtlepaw." Thrushleap paused again, taking a breather before continuing onto the warrior ceremonies. There were quite a lot of apprentices now, and, unfortunately, only two new warriors. He was determined not to look at Frostberry, and could feel his blue eyes still trained on him, waiting for him to make a mistake, waiting for him to crack. Not today. Not while you're hoping. but you're always hoping, I know that.
"Now, we move onto the warrior ceremonies. Thrushpaw (Flight of the Thunderbird), step forward. You have completed your training. By the powers of StarClan, I name you Thrushpad. WhisperClan honors your hunting skills and altruism, and welcomes you as a full warrior.
"Hickorypaw (Lionhearted), step forward. You have completed your training. By the powers of StarClan, I name you Hickoryclaw. WhisperClan honors your speed and efficiency, and welcomes you as a full warrior." Thrushleap dipped his head as a signal that the ceremonies had concluded. "My personal congratulations to all the new warriors and apprentices. I hope you work hard, and make WhisperClan stronger than ever. Thank you for your time; now, you may resume your day. This meeting is done, and you are all dismissed."

Lakepounce's heart soared at the mention of another apprentice. Yes! This was a sign she was finally growing up, becoming mature. Within a few moons she would be a senior warrior. No longer could she make inappropriate jokes, especially with two apprentices at paw. "Hi, Skypaw!" she said brightly, "I'm Lakepounce. Welcome to the first day of training."
Hickoryclaw held his head high, smiling proudly. His father, whomever he may be, would've been proud to see his son grow up. Walking over to Ferretflower (Echo), he dipped his head towards his mother. "I'm a warrior now!" he said in excitement. "I'm the same rank as you, hah!"
Frostberry had mixed feelings about his new duty as mentor. He couldn't understand why Thrushleap had given him an apprentice in the first place, unless it meant that the ginger-and-white tom was hoping to crawl back to him. He thinks that this will change anything? Hah! I'll train Raggedpaw. I'll make him the best warrior. but I'm not going to do it because of you. He was furious and frustrated that Thrushleap had not messed up, not in his previous ceremony nor this one. Biting back a sigh, he sought out Raggedpaw with his blue gaze, and strode over, shouldering through the crowd. "Hello," he said stiffly, "I'm Frostberry."
