Specklepaw frowned at Maggotpaw's weird reply. "Are you okay?" she asked. Specklepaw didn't want to offend the other apprentice if something was wrong. "Yes, I am WhisperClan." The other apprentice seemed so nervous. Specklepaw cocked her head. "Are you deaf?" she whispered so no other cat could hear.

Whitepaw heard no reply so he went aroused exploring trying to find boulderfall. He had passed many apprentices and warriors but he knew he was the youngest here. He then went and sat on the edge of the pond starring at his reflection in the water

Hawkeye and Ravenpaw of Whisperclan

Hawkeye watched as a group of apprentices came closer. He wasn't sure why the young cats would be coming their way, but it was a gathering. Maybe this was his chance to get Ravenpaw to be social. The warrior glanced to the dark apprentice, but only saw annoyance in the tom's eyes. Why would there be anything else? He had forced his apprentice to come.

"Play nice Ravenpaw," the gray and white warrior warned.

"Hello, there. You must be from Talonclan," Hawkeye said, "I'm Hawkeye and this is Ravenpaw." His dark apprentice glared at him for the introduction. However, before anything further could be said another apprentice approached. Ravenpaw was going to hate him in the end, that was for sure. "Hello Mottlepaw." The apprentice was clearly from Stormclan this time. What a mix.

Ravenpaw glared at the three stranger apprentices. Why of all cats to talk to they wanted to talk to him and Hawkeye. It had to be the way his mentor looked. He always seemed to draw a crowd, even he didn't want them. Good, maybe he could sneak away. No Hawkeye would notice his every move. The black tom sat there glaring at everyone hoping they would simply just not bother.

Redcloud of Talonclan

The vibrant reddish tabby tom could be found winding his way amongst the crowd at the pond of truce. He felt at a loss of what to do with himself as he glanced around. His golden amber eyes gleaming in the moonlight as he is nearly run over by a gaggle of apprentices. Dodging them he glances about for a quieter place to sit and wait for the gathering to start. Noticing a she-cat nearby who seemed to be inspecting a blade of grass, he trots over. " Greetings." He says inclining his head politely. " Mind if I join you?" He asks shifting his paws awkwardly. From her sweet smell of fresh grass he could tell she was a Whisperclan warrior. Perhaps a little younger than himself he thought the she-cat looked about as uncomfortable as he felt about the gathering.

Streampaw, Silverpaw & Brightpaw of Stormclan

Brightpaw who'd launched herself deeper into the ever growing crowd of clan cats, roamed about. Her big yellow eyes wide as she stared about, so focused on her surroundings however the young she-cat slammed into another cat. " Oh whoops!" She giggles, " Sorry! Didn't see you there!"

Streampaw who was attempting to keep up with Brightpaw sighs. The noise and commotion of the gathering was starting to bother her more than she'd like to admit. Suddenly Silverpaw pushes up against her side. " I found Brightpaw." He says flickering his tail towards the calico she-cat who was speaking with a stranger. " Brightpaw!" Streampaw calls hurrying to catch up Silverpaw only a paw step behind. When they arrived at the patch of clearing where Brightpaw stood with the strange apprentice, Silverpaw waves his tail. " Hi!" he says boldly his eyes gleaming.

Applefox was about to swipe at the grass when she felt and then smelled the presence of someone else. He said hello and asked to join her she shifted her weight and slowly glanced up at the tom taking in his appearance and smell. She eyed his reddish coat admiring it for a moment before glancing up at his face. Applefox herself was a long furred tortoiseshell with different color eyes, her right one was blue with the left one was a yellow gold color. She gave a polite nod before speaking "Hello." she felt her whiskers twitch nervously, she had never talked to a cat from another Clan before, even the last time she was at a gathering she had clung closely to her mentor.

Pebblepaw whipped her head around to glare at the group of apprentices who were acting more like kits then apprentices to her. "Um, hi." she sounded a bit annoyed and gave them each a glance looking at them from head to toe. She wondered how her mother attended these things without ripping someones ear off.

Whitepaw looked around some more he hadn't made any friends yet. He then remembered his kitten hood leaving the nursery just to watch the warriors leave the camp on patrols or hunting parties. He liked hunting and serving his clan he knew he would turn out to be more loyal than ever when it came time "where is boulderfall" the white talonclan apprentice thought waiting for his mentor by the pond still staring at his reflection the looked up at the sky the stars where all fallen warriors looking down upon his clan and the others and he knew that. He decided to go and look around some more and try to make some friends.

Redcloud of Talonclan

Redcloud was slightly surprised when the she-cat raised her head to look at him and her eyes were of two different colors. It wasn't that he'd never seen it before it was just he wasn't expecting it, hiding a glimmer of surprise he takes her nod as a sign of permission. Moving forward he finds his haunches a patch of grass to rest on, his golden amber eyes remaining on her bi colored ones. " Hey.." he says back shifting his large paws some. Now that he'd sat he realized he hadn't the faintest idea of what to say. Did Whisperclanners even talk about the same things as Talonclanners? He wondered giving her a awkward smile. Feeling annoyed with himself he tries to gather his thoughts. " I er never know what to do at these things." he admits, his luscious plume of a tail flickering as he spoke.


Streampaw, Brightpaw & Silverpaw of Stormclan

Brightpaw was totally oblivious to any annoyance she might of been causing this Talonclanner. Her big yellow eyes were now round with complete fascination. " Hi! I'm Brightpaw!" She says cheerily glancing around when she hears her name called. " Oh good Streampaw look!" She says puffing up her vivid calico pelt, her folded ears flopping as she does so. " I found a Talonclan apprentice!" She exclaims smelling the odd mountainous scent on the she-cat before her.

Streampaw blinks as she arrives glancing at Pebblepaw awkwardly. " Oh hey." She says dipping her head in an attempt at politeness. Disliking how the she-cat seemed to be looking her up and down. Had she never seen another cat before? She wondered. Her thoughts disturbed by her brother's voice. Happy to fall into the background Streampaw sits down and eyes Pebblepaw more closely.

" What's your name?" Silverpaw asks grinning at the she-cat. His fluffy tail held high in the air he didn't pull back as Pebblepaw examined him. Instead he did the same to her fascinated. " You live in the mountains?" He says blinking in surprise. " Aren't you kind of tiny for that?"

"Are you deaf?" the other apprentice whispered so no other cat could hear.

There goes my chance at pretending to be normal... they thought. Now she'll think I'm weak. but I am not weak!

"Yes," Maggotpaw reluctantly replied, "but only in the one ear. There's nothing wrong with that, right?

Pebblepaw gave an annoyed hiss at the bouncy apprentice, she didn't so much as mind the calm and quiet one and then their was the last one who was pushing his limits. She leaned back away from them all her ears flatten back and she bared her fangs for a moment. That's when he said it, she was not small! She was the perfect size. Puffing her cheeks out like her mother had done she stood up and felt her fur spike out like the little ball of fluff she was "I am not small!" her short legs didn't exactly help her statement. "My name is none of your business! Mousebrain"

The she-cat glanced away for a second looking back up at the leaders, her mentor had told her that she needed to communicate more, to just start talking about what she was thinking. breathing in slowly she returned her attention to the tom "This is only my second time coming to this, the first was with my mentor and I didn't really speak to anyone" she returned her own sweet nervous smile. Applefox was a bit terrified of the other Clans so she simply pretended like he was in hers for the time being.

~Thistlehawk~ Lionhearted [Thrushstar], Wolf [Finchsong], Ambrose [Willowbranch]

"Greetings. The prey is running well in the mountains with Newleaf's arrival, though it isn't without loss in leaf-bare," the tabby nodded in response to each leader and deputy. His eyes lingered upon the ginger-and-white tom, the current leader of the meadow-dwelling WhisperClan; it felt like yesterday when he was deputy, but now he was at the highest rank of the Clan. "Congratulations on your nine lives, Thrushstar. StarClan chose well, whatever happened to Fangstar." Thistlehawk hoped he didn't come off as rude or condescending, what with his jumbling choice of words at the moment, what more with the crowd of cats growing bigger and chattier as time passed.

Anxiety pricked his paw pads, nose alert for a particular scent foreign from the Clans'. Lyra. There was only a stale trail of her from when she waited for him at the leaders' rock, but that had been too long ago to catch a solid trace of it. If he could be honest, he missed her presence dearly, remembering the softness of her fur and the sweetness of grass and flowers that lingered in her pelt. She was like an embodiment of WhisperClan, but more...free.

but for now, the only remembrances of her were of WhisperClan warriors and apprentices milling about - he'd have to focus on whatever was on hand right now. Flicking his ears, the TalonClan deputy nodded again to others. "Newleaf has treated you all well, I can see."


~Webfire~ Twineheart [Rainbriar when she arrives; I wasn't gonna bring Webby in, actually XD]

Mouse dung, where did he go? Webfire hissed quietly, irritated at how he lost sight of his silver-coated friend within seconds of taking his eyes off of him. Days of persuasion to get Silverspot moving and attend the Gathering were long and tiring, and he hadn't managed to get any help from Leafdapple mostly because the calico hadn't been around (or rather, he was too prideful to go ask her for help). Now that they were at the Pond of Truce, the splotched tom muttered under his breath for being separated from the otherwise fragile tom.

At least it gave him freedom for something else.

Sitting himself on his haunches and raising himself as tall as he could, he scanned the rims of the hollow for telltale signs of MidnightClan's arrival. This was the best time to speak with Rainbriar, considering no one would suspect a thing with all the Clans mingling about together. He wanted to check on her wellbeing after the terrible leaf-bare that wiped out a good number of his Clanmates, and he was sure StormClan wasn't the only one.


~Silverspot & Adderfoot~ Babylonranger [Hareblaze], Wolf [Squirrelheart, Thornpaw]

Silverspot's eyes widened in surprise when one of the larger warriors turned to look at him, regarding him with curiosity. I didn't want you to hear me! He opened his maw slightly, trying to find words to excuse himself from a possible awkward conversation; he wasn't fast enough, for the larger warrior immediately introduced herself...to be the brown tom's daughter. Blinking rapidly in confusion of the new information, the silver StormClanner took a step closer, tentative than the last.

"I.. We met on a border patrol once.." he flicked his focus onto the tabby just as the other tom turned his head. "Way back when I was an apprentice."

The WhisperClan warrior tilted his head at Silverspot, green eyes turning from a sick shade to a soft glow of curiosity that parred with Hareblaze's. "...You were with that impulsive one, and the two loners. I remember." Adderfoot let out a soft chuckle, slightly wheezy from the stubborn phlegm in his throat. "That felt so long ago, and I never introduced myself properly." He nudged his dark brown paw towards his kin, stating their names in respective turns. "These are my daughters - Hareblaze, Squirrelheart, and Thornpaw. Myself? Adderfoot would be my name."


~Shellfrost~ Wolf [Shadowrain]

Shellfrost narrowed her eyes at the tom, half-skeptical and half-amused. She'd seen this behaviour before, with the wordings and the movements. Flirt. Her parents had done it to each other even when she was still a kit in the nursery, pretending it were still their early days before they took each other as life partners, and giving affection wherever and whenever they could. The white she-cat shoved the thoughts away, just before a dark image could slap itself into the spotlight. No reminders.

She fixed the mottled with a mock glare, half her face quirking into a rare show of friendliness and amusement. "And how many she-cats have heard that from you? I can't be the first one - it sounds too rehearsed." Whiskers twitched in a triumphant dare, blue eyes glowing beneath the growing moonlight. Maybe this StormClanner (boy, did his pelt stink) would provide her some entertainment in this otherwise mundane-at-the-moment Gathering. "Shellfrost of WhisperClan. Who is the water walloper I'm conversing with?"

[Whiteleaf]

A lone dark shape moved at the edge of the gathering. The shy tom knew that socializing more with others would be good for him. So, taking a deep breath, Swiftpaw began to walk through the throng of moving cats. He looked around, trying to spot any other apprentices there. The Midnightclanner quickly spotted a couple of apprentices talking quietly to each other.

Before joining them, the black tom opened his mouth to taste the air. The odd scents of Leafclan and Whisperclan wafted towards him. Swiftpaw wrinkled his nose, thinking that he'd probably never get that used to the other clans' scents. Composing himself, he padded over towards Maggotpaw and Specklepaw, flicking his ear in greeting. "Hi! Is this your guys' first gathering?" he mewed.

~Boulderfall of TalonClan~ Twilightpelt [Whitepaw], Carotius [Thistlehawk mayhaps?], Skiv [Ivyheart]

The Pond of Truce was already full of cats when Boulderfall arrived with TalonClan, and after tasting the air he realized that StormClan, WhisperClan, and LeafClan were already here. The large warrior pricked his ears as he looked around at all the cats, his blue-grey tabby pelt burning with excitement. He hadn't been to a Gathering in awhile, and the urge to make new friends within the other Clans was strong.

First, though, he had to find his apprentice. Whitepaw seemed to have run off somewhere, and the young cat had easily been swallowed up by the crowd. As Boulderfall wandered around searching for him, he also looked for Ivyheart, but he couldn't pick out her tabby pelt. Disappointment striking his heart, he turned to continue his search for Whitepaw when he noticed his brother sitting over by the rest of the deputies. Thistlehawk had been very busy lately with his new responsibilities, and they hadn't gotten to speak much. He wanted to go over to his brother, but he hung back, not wanting to interrupt the conversation the deputies were having.

Streampaw, Silverpaw & Brightpaw of Stormclan Plus Starlingblaze too

Streampaw who'd visibly flinched when her brother spoke knew he'd pushed this Talonclanner over the top. Wonderful, she thought leaping to her paws as the little female she-cat before them bared her fangs in their direction. " He didn't mean that." She puts in shoving her tail over her brother's maw so he couldn't open his maw and make things worse. She watches as the little feline puffed up her cheeks and spoke her final words. Taken aback she flicks her ears back against her skull. " There's no need to be..." She starts but is cut off by a familiar voice.

" I hope were all getting along." The voice said, it was followed by the fluffy black and white body of Starlingblaze. He was Streampaw and Silverpaw's father. Reaching the little gaggle of apprentice's his mossy gaze roams over the puffed up Pebblepaw his eyes blinking some. " Your uh Pebblestar...s daughter right?" He murmurs, hesitating due to the fact the tiny feline was the spitting image of the former Talonclan leader.

Redcloud could tell the she-cat was nervous. but he remained seated his body language relaxed, golden amber eyes friendly. He didn't really know what he thought about the other clans. Let alone Whisperclan, perhaps they were just like him and his clanmates. They were all cats weren't they? Blinking he realizes she was speaking and raises his head to listen to her words. Chuffing softly he shrugs, " I've only been a paw full of times myself. I usually just sit alone." He admits. " but were here right? Supporting our clans?" he continues. " I think that's what matters in the end." giving a twitch of his broad maw he smiles slightly. Clemintine

whitepaw had looked around for a while trying to find his mentor "I hope I can make some friends" the young talonclan apprentice thought as he went around looking for his mentor until he saw his mentors blue-grey pelt and ran up to his mentor "This place is amazing, I may not have made any friends yet but looking at the reflections in the pond is great" the apprentice nearly shouted to his mentor "Are you having fun too?" the white and black apprentice asked glancing back at the large rock where the leaders and deputies stood

Adderstripe sat in the center of the gathering. His bright amber eyes shown in the milky moonlight. He closed his eyes and thought about his kits My second litter is the best... except for that blasted Adderkit and Primosekit. He stopped thinking for a moment and then thought again My first litter, those kits... He broke off in a low growl. He hated that Tiger with all his life. He suddenly saw a cat that looked just like Tiger. He shook his head, he just is really tired. Suddenly it came to him. That cat was Tiger. Adderstripe eyes gleamed with the need to jumped up and fight Tiger. He stalked towards Tiger, fury in his eyes. He stood in front of his son, the son that should have never been kitted. He growled to Tiger," You thought you could come to a gathering and not see you father, eh". Fire burned in his eyes as he waited for his son's answer.
