Thunderstar waited impatiently with his claws digging into the stone as he watched the cats of different clans gathering around below and conversing with one another. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he noticed some unfamiliar pelts mixing with his own clanmates as they approached them. Though he knew gatherings were a time where they all met together, he hoped that none of his clanmates were taking their conversations with the other clans too seriously. I wouldn’t put it past some of these two-faces to try to pry information from my clan. Whisperclan was once a target of all of them due to weakness in numbers and strength, but not anymore. He flicked an ear as he looked around for the cats of Sunsetclan, but none seemed to have arrived. “If Sunsetclan isn’t going to show up until the moon has completely disappeared, then I’d suggest we start without them.” The silver-furred leader commented as he stood tall in preparation to speak.

Whitefire padded forward across the territory, her round blue orb-like eyes set ahead and her very thick fluffy fur swishing around her short paws as she led all of the Frostclan cats to the gathering place. This unfrozen terrain and soft soil felt unfamiliar to the medicine cat’s paws and the warming air was uncomfortable over her heavy blanket of fur, but she knew that this was the way they were supposed to go. She had been given the directions from Starclan themselves. The she-cat knew that there were supposed to be other cats here, but even so when the scent and sounds of them all began to hit her she swished her fluffy gold-tipped tail. She hadn’t been used to living with so many cats in Frostclan alone, but now it seemed like there were possibly hundreds of cats here in one place.
“This is it, this is the place.” She informed the clan as they reached the edge of clearing. She could see the many pelts and shadows of cats shifting in a swarm as they moved across the gathering place and conversed. “Stay close together and try not to cause any trouble with them. For Starclan’s sake, if I have to carry any of you all the way up the hill and back to my den I’m going to make sure I drag you through all of the thorn bushes on the way there!” She cast them a warning look, thinking that some of them might try to start battles with the strange cats if given the opportunity too. They were new to this whole gathering-truce thing after all. With that, the medicine cat flicked her tail for them to approach. Here goes nothing.
Cloudy followed behind Whitefire with Mintpool by her side. The smoky tortoiseshell blinked as she peered around at the many cats ahead and scented the strong mixtures of scents. Do they seriously all live here? I knew there were clans in the forest, but not this many cats at once. Still, she stood tall as she padded forward, glancing at them with only mild interest.
Mintpool’s eyes were round and ears flattened slightly. There are so many cats everywhere! She thought, wondering how Cloudy and Whitefire could seem so calm about it. What if the other cats decided to attack them?
Blazestep padded with the other warriors, his large size sticking out among some of them, especially in comparison to his smaller sister. He didn’t seem too phased about the number of cats and padded forward as if he belonged there. He was interested in how the other cats lived and thought about starting a conversation with a few of them if he could manage it.

Firepetal was sitting with Breezeclaw near the edge of the group when the scent of strange cats hit her nose and she staggered back, ginger fur bristling. “Intruders!” She called out in a yowl, trying to alert the others. This wasn’t just one kittypet like last time either, she could scent the scent strongly, as if there was a large group of them. The queen spun around to face the scent, her ears flicking back as she could see strange pelts coming towards them.
Breezeclaw leapt in front of his expecting mate defensively, baring his teeth and unsheathing his claws. Were they under an attack?! That kittypet from last time could have brought these cats here to face them! He didn’t move forward to react right away, but waited to see what it was they were going to do.
Thunderstar whipped around from where he stood on the island to face Firepetal, trying to determine where the intruders were coming from. His fur bristled and stood on end as he could spot the approaching figures, first a very small white and gold she-cat and then a crowd of cats behind her, coming in one by one and coming closer. “WHISPERCLAN! BE ON YOUR GUARD AND PREPARE TO ATTACK!” He yowled at his clanmates over the crowd in warning, and crouched down slightly, looking like he was about ready to spring down and leap at the intruders himself with unsheathed claws. They thought they could outnumber the clans and attack them, did they? He would show them otherwise.
