All I Wanted Was Not What I Found(Nepta)

The grey and white cat carried out her plan. Jumping to the right as Goldenstar was a tail-length away, she tumbled a few feet. She got up, wobbling on her feet. The blood now matted her fur, but the pain was only a sting. She balanced herself, checking her wounds while she had a moment. She then turned to see if her plan worked, a bit satisfied it gave her a few moments. She was almost certain it had- but she had to check, and then attack once more.

Before Goldenstar was able to skid herself to a stop, her face rammed into the tree. A scream of surprise and agony escaped her as she crumpled to the dirt. Her head was ringing. Her face felt flat. And it screeched in hurt. Agony. A full on run was not suposed to hurt this much. It was suposed to hit her enemy. Not a tree.

but now she was crumped like unwanted paper, her golden fur bloody from her previous wounds and her eyes clouded with shock and wide with the realization that, with any luck, she was going to die. She folded her front paws up to her face, shielding her shattered, torn face from the she-cat. She did not know how torn it was, but it was bleeding and was burning, screaming, in pain. She wrapped her tail around her as she turned into a ball of golden fur and fallen dignity, her back facing the sky. She sobbed into her paws. She was at the mercy of this horrible, hateful cat. And she would never forget that what caused this was her rush to fight. She deserved whatever she got.

Her smirk faded as the she-cat fell to the ground. This is what she had waited for. This is what she had waited for, for a long time. Her smirk soon returned as she pranced {XD Yes, Pranced. That puts an image in your head, doesn't it?} over to the golden she-cat. "Goldenstar," she began. "I hope this taught you a lesson." She hissed in her ear, though still cautious. "Now it's your turn to bear pain." Sachiko's smirk faded once again as she clawed, seemingly endlessly to the cat before her. She saw blood covering the golden fur, blood on her claws and paws, a pool of blood on the ground. And with that, the she-cat stalked away.

Goldenstar had been expecting the worse, and she certainly got it. The strength was gone from her as claws dug into her again and again, riping into her fur and into her flesh. She felt powerless to stop it. The golden feline simply took what she assumed that she deserved, and prayed to StarClan that she would live. She knew she had 9 lives, but she was not quite sure how they...worked yet. Was it wrong for her to not have faith that she would come back again? Was this doubting StarClan? Soon, Goldenstar felt even fainter, more tired than before. She shut her eyes, beginning to wish for death and an escape from the pain. She soon got what she assumed she deserved.

Goldenstar was not sure whether she had just fallen asleep or not on awaking. It was that same feeling as when you wake up in an unusual den, and are not sure how you got there or who those cats around you are, and you only realize after you give yourself a moment to wake up. It took a moment for the pain to remind Goldenstar of what happened, of how she had died. I should have put my faith in StarClan. The she-cat struggled to her feet, her fur still coated in red and possibly still bleeding. but her face, her face hurt the worse. Her muzzle felt almost crumpled in, but on further investigation, Goldenstar felt that it had not been broken, but there were a few deep cuts on it. but her eye...she was having trouble seeing out of it. Whether it was the blood or actual damage to her eye, she did not know; she did not know what happened to leaders that lost their sight.

The she-cat, not on her feet, took a few shaky steps towards camp, soon finding that she was more than capable of walking. She could run too, only if she went slow though. She learned this the hard way when she almost fell on her already aching muzzle, forcing herself to slow in order for her legs to keep up with the rest of her. She had thought that she could have gone faster, but maybe it was because of the energy that this new life had sparked. Either that, or it was the desperate need to get back to camp. She had to tell the warriors, she had to warn them, she had to finally announce the cat who would be right beside her when she went into battle, a new deputy. Goldenstar soon approached the camp. A hint of excitement passed through what she thought could only be anger, sorrow, and fear. She had an announcement to make.
