Dandelion was confused and scared, her two-legs had placed her down somewhere low, in a cold stone place, she was always cold and her fur had began to get knotted and ugly looking. She was hungry, not that it mattered she was still fat, sitting down Dandelion felt like a ball as her stomach pressed against her paws and the cold hard floor. She had mewed for a long time when they first stuck her down here, but now she had all but give up hope, she couldn't seem to find her voice to force out another sound. Her ribs somehow managed to poke out, she couldn't understand how she had gotten so fat but had not ate anything except a few dead rats that had died down here, nasty things but she was so hungry. How long had it been? Trying to force herself to make a sound she ended instead she was left with this gross scratchy sound and her throat hurt bad, trying to swallow liquid that was not in her mouth she glanced around before spotting a puddle that had come from an old rusty pipe. Waddling over to it she leaned down and gulped down the nasty tasting water, it burned her throat but she didn't care, she was so thirsty.

Dandelion sulked over to where she normally slept. Her stomach ached bad and she figured it was from the water she had just drank, she hunched over felling like the water might make its way back up. Her stomach got a sharp pain and she arched her body like it could somehow avoid the horrible pains he was feeling. I'm dieing Breathing heavy she laid down and waited, hoped, death would take her quickly, take her for this horrific nightmare she was in.

Mews found their way to Dandelions ears, her world was dark and small and there was something around her, she tried to hiss but she couldn't find a voice to do so. The mewls got louder and suddenly small things started to move around her. Dandelion hurt bad and she just wanted to sleep but she was .. swaying? Why was she moving and why couldn't she see? Her paws pressed up against the side of something, she sniffed at it and soon learned she was in some type of fabric material. She tried to mew, again and again, her eyes pricked and started to water. She wanted to go back to her soft and warm window, she wanted to watch the sea wash up on the shore and then be sucked back out. She wanted to know only her toy mouse and soft food, she wanted to be full and her throat to be wet with the fresh tasting water. She wanted this pain to end. The She-cat hiccuped with the effort of her cries as she was continued to be crawled all over by small things.

Loud footsteps were soon drowned out by what sounded like the lake. Her cries stopped for a moment as she tried to process what was happening, soon she was tossed against the fabric and it felt like she was flying. perhaps they are taking me home! Her world was bright and happy for a moment... Only a moment.

Suddenly Dandelion heard the water make a splash sound and then her world was fill with cold liquid. Panic struck her and she tried to gasp for air but only water entered her lungs, she thrashed out against the fabric as she felt herself sinking like a rock, sinking lower and lower into the dark abyss that would soon be her watery grave.

The for now unamed kit didn't knew what was happening, everything had come and gone so fast he couldn't simple bring his mind to understand anything, the warm, his siblings, everything he ever knew was being drowed, literally, his small and useless paws moved and moved not making much a difference as he meowed lowdly, was this supposed to be like this? He had no idea.

He had been sleeping.

but when he heard the noise of Twolegs in the distance, two dark, ochre eyes slid open, their pupils already narrowed in anger. The Twolegs were such nuisances--they left messes wherever they went, and everyone was just so afraid of them. It was despicable. They were all a bunch of mouse-brained cowards, those Clan cats...

He certainly didn't want anything to do with them.

With a wide yawn, exposing his fangs, and a long stretch, his muscles rippling beneath his mottled pelt, Adderspot, an ex-MidnightClanner, got to his paws and slid out from beneath the scraggly bushes where he'd been napping. He sat and watched the Twolegs with little interest, absently licking a paw and drawing it across his face to wake himself up. 'A day by the lake?' he wondered dryly, sneering as he watched the oddly-pelted creatures make their way down to the shoreline, using an old, wooden construction of theirs to walk a short ways out over the calm water (a "dock," for any Twoleg who might be reading). The large tom was more or less indifferent toward the Twolegs... until he heard another sound, something faint beneath their commotion. The tom's ears pivoted around with mild curiosity and he peered a bit more closely at the Twolegs. What was it they were carrying...?

...and was it moving?

He watched them toss whatever it was out into the water and then turn to leave. As soon as that resounding splash hit him... so did the morbid realization. The Twolegs--those sounds. He knew. Spitting angrily, the tom was on his paws before he had time to think.

Because there was no time.

With powerful strides, the rogue warrior dashed across the slick, wooden planks and threw himself into the cold water, the lake rushing up to greet him hungrily. He dove down, ignoring the water swirling in his ears and down his throat through his nose. He just swam--kicked and swam and kicked until the blurry outline of the Twoleg pouch was visible against the shadowy backdrop of the lake's bottom. His chest burned, but he kept going until he could clamp his teeth firmly around the material (he knew there would be no going back if he let it slip this time around). With a heave, Adderspot drove himself back toward the surface, propelling his body at an angle toward the shore. 

When his paws found sand he shoved his head up into open air, the contraption in his jaws weighed down by water...

Water and bodies.

The weight pulled him back under once, twice, but he kept trudging forwards. Hissing to clear his throat, teeth still secured around the sack, Adderspot clawed his way up onto dry land and lugged the heavy prison of fabric with him. As soon as it was clear of the water, he let it go and began to bite and claw at the material, trying to find the damn opening... And then it opened, and he saw fur and bodies (such tiny bodies), and he tried to pull them out. "Hey!" he snapped, voice deep and angry and heavy with his breathless breathing. "Can you hear me? Hey!"

They had better be alive, after all that work he'd put in to save them.

Such furry things struggled against her stomach and her legs, she was irritated at this, she just wanted to die and what even was these small things that had been squished into this fabric with her? Her irritation was soon forgotten when her lungs began to ache and her eyes opened wide, the life was being sucked out of her as she sucked more water in.

I don't want to die.

Dandelions paws out stretched slowly but were soon stopped by the fabric that enclosed her, slowly her deep blue eyes closed as the deep blue lake swallowed her whole. Her last memory would be of fear and pain, what a horrific way to go, then her world was black once more.

"Hey!"

"Can you hear me? Hey!"

Yes I can hear you! There is no need to shout! Where did you grow up a barn!?
Suddenly she was coughing, her eyes flashed open and she saw sky then sand as she heaved up what felt like the whole lake. Somehow she managed to puke..well not on herself or anyone but rather on the ground. She tried to gasp for air but her lungs were cut off by more water coming up. yuck tasted like rust. Dandelions throat ached horribly by the time she was done, her stomach felt like it was eating herself and the sun burned her eyes. The she-cat layed there in the sand motionless for a moment or two, slowly mews surrounded her, they began to get louder, pathetic little mews.

Dandelion raised her head up and saw something covered in fur but it was outlined by the sun, she squinted her now light, very light, blue eyes trying to identify it. Was this what had saved her? She would have looked at him sooner but her throat, quickly, as fast as a starving, thirsty, just drowned cat could move, she crawled over to the lake that had just practically ate her and began to gulp down large amounts of water trying to quench her thirst. Ignoring the pain of drinking so much so fast she only stopped to get a breath, Dandelion was still unaware of her savor and unaware of her kits, she had no idea she even had kits.

Adderspot recoiled when the sopping feline emerged and... spewed forth the water from her lungs. He glared heatedly at her, ochre meeting light blue, while she recovered (this was just his regular expression), his tail lashing impatiently. At least she was alive, which meant he wouldn't have to deal with all of these... bodies. They could all just be off and on their merry way. They could all just--"Hey!"

...aaaaaaand she was going back to the lake.

Blinking incredulously, the tom was after the stranger in a moment, splashing into the water right in front of her and trying to push her back up toward the Twoleg pouch. "Listen, you dirt-for-brains: I didn't just drag you out of here so that you could crawl right on back in. I don't care how thirsty you are," he growled angrily, ears back and tail lashing. "Now, get your sorry pelt back up there and tend to your kits." I mean, honestly, Adderspot had about as much maternal instinct as a boulder, but even he knew that this she-cat couldn't just leave her--what, her newborns? StarClan--kits to shake the water off of themselves and warm their tiny bodies all on their own.

Adderspot did know a thing or two about neglectful parents, so... this she-cat wasn't about to get away with any of it.

Her stomach ached from all the water she was taking in but it made her throat feel so much better, she wondered what had happened and who saved her. Her light pink tongue dipped in the cool water until suddenly something splashed in front of her, it was trying to push her back and get her away from the water, Dandelion swatted a soft paw at the figure, her eyes narrowed from the blinding sunlight. Ugh why was it so bright?! She wiped a paw over hey eyes and glanced back up. A cat? She was trying to figure out what was going on but this tom kept yelling at her, she swatted at him again her eyes narrowed but this time to glare at him.

"Hey! Stop it you..you big bully!" Her ears laid back and her voice was hoarse from her throat and it sounded strange to hear her own voice. What did he want? why couldn't he just leave her alone! She didn't have any toys or soft food for him! food. Her stomach let out an anger growl and her eyes flickered from to tom down and back up. sorry pelt Dandelion eyes widen and she stepped back like he had slapped her, she was applauded it wasn't her fault her two-legs had been so mean.

Your kits? What are kits? Are they toys? Food?! Oh she hoped it was food, her mouth watered at the thought but she clamly tilted her head at him "Kitssss?" Her head tilted more and her deep blue eyes stared at him, she toke another pawstep back and her paw sunk into hot sand, she flinched and whipped around back pedaling into the water, hopefully the tom wasn't behind her and just beside her. Her mouth opened slightly and she stared at the sand, stretching her nose out her nose sniffed at it, it smelled... Her eyes went crossed eyed trying to stare at the tiny grains. She looked up and saw green grass, trees, birds flying through the air, all the nests that belong to the two-legs.

Gasping Dandelion darted behind the tom her ears pinned back and her eyes staring around, she acted like the outside would bite her. She flinched at the sound of a bird chirping, She laid down when the trees rustled in the wind, her heart was racing and her eyes moved frantically trying to take in all her surroundings.

the small kit, at the moment unnamed squirmed and let out a loud mew, she was cold and wet, shivering as the breeze tore through her fur, she missed the warmth and dryness where she was she didn't know and she didn't care she was hungry and freezing and she didn't like it at all

Adderspot, a bully?

Never.

Scowling darkly, the tom exited the water and watched the she-cat take in her surroundings for the first time. She was just... so oblivious, and so absent-minded... it was nauseating. Scoffing quietly at her confusion, the tom was about to walk away when suddenly the sopping she-cat backpedaled and seemed to be trying to hide behind his large frame. He craned his neck to glare back at her. What didn't she get about her kits needing help?

Ears lowered, the ex-MidnightClanner lashed his tail toward the kittypet, nodding toward the wriggling Twoleg pouch. "Your kits," he growled, frustrated after having heard the newborns mew pathetically. "Your kittens--go and help them." He enunciated each word very carefully, trying to make sure his message was clear while entirely ignoring the way she cowered behind him. Whatever it was she was going through... she needed to snap out of it.

It was either that, or die.

Ears pinned back, Adderspot stalked angrily toward the soaking fabric, leaning down and trying to pull the tiny bodies out of the cold, wet confines and place them on a patch of coarse beach grass. "Get over here," he snapped at Dandelion, indicating the tiny kits by his paws. "Help them."

Because he certainly wasn't about to play mother.

No sir. No way.

Not him.

[Clemintine]

Dandelion watched as the tom walked over to a piece of fabric laying on the ground, he began to pull small fur balls out of it and continued to glare at her. She glared back offended, ugh! He was so ruudee looking. She slowly crept over to him and stood next to him and quite close at that clearly knowing no sense of personal space, her bright eyes stared at the little bodies, she lifted a paw and poked a kit then leaned down to sniff it. Her nose wrinkled and she glanced up at the tom "Well...." she waited for him to speak, clearly he had no idea what to do any more than she did, "you're the bossy one what do I do?".

They needed their own two-legs, she didn't have soft food for them to eat. She looked around spotting out all the houses she thought perhaps she could give them too. Dandelion sighed hunching over, she just wanted food herself, her sad eyes looked up at Adderspot.

All he had done was fuss.

Her pupils seemed to get bigger giving her a more depressing look as they continued to stare at him, she sniffled and then finally looked away and down at the small bodies once more. She spot softly talking to herself mainly but her voice was able to be heard "..I don't understand" the she-cat sniffled again and layed her ears back.

[[Acro.]]

"Well... you're the bossy one, what do I do?"

Was she... was she serious?

Adderspot could only stare at this she-cat, incredulous, as she hunkered down and appeared at a loss for what to do next. In that moment, right then and right there, he wanted so badly to just tear into her--to rid the world of her awful existence. but he didn't. Because he was not about to play mother. Honestly, what did they feed these kittypets? A whole bunch of stupid?

Hissing quietly, the well-muscled tom glared down at the pathetic, sopping ball of cream-colored fur. With claws sheathed (thankfully), he lashed out and tried to cuff the she-cat aggressively across the ears. "What do you mean you don't understand?" he hissed angrily, tail lashing and eyes narrowed as he towered over the little mouse-brain. "Get them dry, keep them warm, and feed them milk," he growled sharply, still unable to believe that this she-cat wasn't just trying to pull a fast one on him.

There was no way a cat could exist who was this incompetent.

[Clemintine]

Dandelion fell onto her side when the tom smacked her across the ears, she laid her ears back and looked up at him, no wonder why he was out here running around, his two-legs probably put him outside because he was so rude. She glanced over at the small mewing bodies as he spoke, the she-cats tail flicked impatiently as she got up and walked over to the kits, she lifted a paw and stroked one of the kits with it, she felt like the toms eyes were burning into the side of her face, watching, waiting for her to screw up.

Her mind whimpered at the thought, she stared at them and reluctantly leaned down and gave one a lick. ew. Tasted nasty. She scrunched her nose up and sighed softly, she opened her mouth (like she was gonna eat the kit) trying to figure out how to move this thing. She decided to just push it over to the tom, she pushed one single kit over to him and left it in front of his paws. Dandelion looked at him and nodded "You can be grumpy but I think we both know if you perhaps helped this would go a lot faster." She then leaned down to lick a different unnamed kit.

The she-cat struggled at first, she only dried one side of the kit because when she tried to turn it over it would mew and scare her, once she did turn it over it was all sandy and nasty, however, she finally got one kit done... three more to go. Ugh.

[[Acro.]]

When the she-cat opened her mouth to eat the kits, Adderspot's eyes narrowed and (though he would never admit this) his heart did an uncomfortable two-step. She would really...? Would she?

No, no, of course not.

The large tom watched the smaller feline (so weak...) with blazing scrutiny, hardly able to stand this disgusting show of incompetence. When she nudged one of the kits towards him, he pinned his ears back and hissed under his breath. She didn't really expect him to--

"You can be grumpy but I think we both know if you perhaps helped this would go a lot faster."

Oh. Oh, she was serious.

Adderspot glared at her and then he glared down at the mewling little... parasite, his tail lashing angrily. He could end this. This could all be over. No more of her, and these kits would be put out of their misery--spared from a lifetime of suffering under this she-cat's "care." His claws unsheathed, their curves tapered and imposing, and his lip pulled back in a snarl.

He should just do it.

Get it over with.

This family would never survive without Twolegs, and the Twolegs obviously didn't want them.

Adderspot's mind jumped back to the moment he had watched the pouch be cast into the water, and his temper flared--only now it was directed a the peltless Twolegs. Who did they think they were? They thought they could just get away with something like that? That they were that much better than them--than him? Don't count on it. Eying the wriggling... thing at his paws, Adderspot's claws slowly retracted and his snarl faded, his expression re-assuming its typical look of anger and disgust (this one was slightly less manic than when he felt like slaughtering an entire family...). If this hopeless bunch died now... the Twolegs won.

Damn it.

"They're going to freeze, you little toad," he spat at the kittypet, making sure she knew she was doing a terrible job before he crouched down, and begrudgingly tucked his forepaws underneath the kit in front of him to keep it off of the ground. Now, at least, it would be resting on top of something warm. "What kind of a mother are you?" Stupid she-cat. He should've just let her drown. Scowling deeply, and growling heavily in his chest for added effect, the tom lowered his head... and began to lick the water away from the young kit's body.

...stupid.

the small kit burrowed into Adderspot purring as hard as it's body could manage there was warmth, it took the scent it, she didn't know this scent, but it didn't smell like where she was born, it smelled cleaner and fresher and she already liked it, whatever it actually was

[Isilme]

The small kit suddenly was getting warmed by something he couldn't quite place, but it was better than being all wet and nearly dying, he purred softly glad to whatever thing that was helping him, he wondered if he would get food any time soon, the only thing he was really sure, is that he is starving.

[Clemintine]

"Little toad? In case you haven't Noticed.. I'm a cat." She glared up at him "I'm not a mother! I mean.. I" she looked at the kits before her. "I'm not the mother.. the two-legs are!" She glanced over at him, it was true to her, she had never had a mother other than the two-legs so she had no idea what he was talking about. She went to snap another remark at him but noticed him licking the mewling thing in his paw, her eyes softened and she felt her heart tighten for some reason.

Dandelion decided to remain quiet as she tucked the kit she had just licked near her chest, she reached and grabbed another one pulling it by its tail, it yowled in protest and she flinched back releasing it, she pulling it to her with her paw this time, the she-cat slide her tongue over the kits body warming and drying it with her tongue, she closed her eyes and felt herself begin to purr. Once this kit was done she tucked it against her chest with the other one. The tiny kit scrambled under her arm and out around her stomach, it mewled weakly and crawled towards her stomach, quickly it found what it was looking for and latched onto it's mother.

Dandelion sat up surprised by the kits actions, she backed up a few paw steps and looked down at the kit sniffing it, what in the world did it think it was doing?! The kit mewled and squirmed in the sand searching for its mother.(Kit is My kit blossom :3)
