he smiled a little "it's alright they are waiting for me to join them when it is my time to pass, I just have to keep living for them and learning new things, that is how we live learning and teach and learn something else until our time is done"

The she-cat smiled, her whiskers twitching, as if she were holding back a laugh. She nodded once, respecting the idea of someone merely waiting for him to join them, and the idea of continuing to live for those who couldn't - though she couldn't quite agree with his terms of how to live. Being from a bit of a different world, her way of life wasn't around learning and teaching. She was far to spoiled for that. Her idea of huntin was to paw at her owner's leg while in the kitchen. Her idea of attacking was chasing a red light. Her idea of fighting was with cat toys purchased for her. Even in her own home she was in a single-cat house. No, her life to live wasn't on learning and teaching. She had learned all she needed in her life, now she merely enjoyed the benefits.

He gets up "want to see something cool I can do?" his tail flicked eagerly "it's a neat trick I taught my brother and even a cat without any training could learn it" he grinned a little one of his teeth hanging over slightly

OOC: she seems really nice is she a mute or is just quiet?

The she-cat glanced up at him curiously when he stood before tilting her head, a faint hint of a smile on her muzzle before nodding. She flicked her tail in a signal of 'go ahead,' her expression curious as she lifted her head up to watch, once more coiling her tail around herself, curious to what he was going to show her.

[[OOC: She's completely mute, born premature and with out developed vocal cords. As a kit, she was checked out by a vet who confirmed her vocal cords never grew in, and so she can't utter a single sound at all. ^^]]

He climbs up a tree until he reaches the lowest branch then he slowly starts walking along the branch until it starts to tremble under the weight of the large tom, but he doesn't seem all the worried everything he does seems to radiate confidence and calm

The she-cat watched with startled eyes as he jumped onto a branch, quickly standing to look up at him, tail whisking as she watched him move along the branch before the branch started to tremble. She looked on with something akin to concern, blue eyes wide as she waited to see what he was about to do, hoping he wasn't about to hurt - or worse - kill himself.

he stops for a moment just when it seems that the branch can't take anymore pressure, he twists around dragging his claws down the branch, it shoots him into the air and he lands on the next branch up looking down with a grin before he slide down the trunk of the tree, cleaning his paws off "Neat huh?"

[Dyzzie]

The she-cat startled when the male suddenly twisted, before it shoot him into the air, and he landed on the next branch up. The she-cat had stepped back in surprise, loking up atr him when he grinned before sliding down the tree, and asking if it was neat. She hesitated before noding once, tilting her head to the side before nodding, glancing up at the tree, then back at him before shaking her head, glad he hadn't killed himself, like she was expecting him to do.

he itches his muzzle "takes a lot of practice to get that one right, it's always good to try it somewhere soft first or you'd be sore for ages" he laughs "so were you always a kittypet?"

The she-cat perked her ears at his comment of it taking a lot of practice, before nodding once in understanding. She couldn't imagine it was something that woud be easy, nor successful to accomplish on the first try, she could only imagine how long it took her. She tilted her head at his next question, hesitating with how to answer. Technically no, yet, technically yes. She was still young. Younger than an apprentice when she was taken to her owner's home. It is where she had grown up, and where she considered her home. Slowly she nodded, a tiny flick of her tail, a faint smile on her features.

"tried that once myself, not a lot of twolegs were interested in a ugly mug like mine, they prefer pretty cats like you to battle scars and sightless eyes" he doesn't say it with any bitterness or venom, just like it is a fact of life that he's learned over time

The she-cat smiled faintly, a sad sort of smile at the thought, before nodding lightly in understand. Humans could be like that, she'd heard. Picky and want the cute cats that they could cuddle and snuggle. She nudged his shoulder in understanding, before smiling. She had been lucky with her human, who loved to pamper her, but never abused her in any sort of situation, in any sort of way. She didn't have human kits tugging at her fur, ears, or tail. She didn't have a dog yapping and chasing her. No, she had a peaceful life, one she was thankful for. Sitting down, Silence tilted her head at him, curious as to why he'd try to live with the humans, knowing most didn't.

"living alone is a very complicated life style, you don't have to worry about anyone else and you don't have to feed anyone else but you don't have anyone around to share with or to spend time with at least with twolegs around loneliness isn't really allowed, they are loud and confusing but at least they are there

The she-cat listened as the male explain how lonely life when you were living off on your own. She, unfortunately, wasn't capable of understanding. Silence had always had someone around. Whether it was her mother, or her owner - she was very rarely ever alone. She had to smile at the comment of the humans being loud, or even confusing, nodding slightly in agreement. It was one of the things she enjoyed about living with her human. The elder human was of a quiet nature. Laid back. Happy to just pet Silence, rather then being wild and crazy. Sure, the old human had her odd moments, but at least it was a comfortable living. The she cat glanced briefly back to the gathering, catching a glimpse of her friend, and reassuring herself that the other cat was still having fun before returning her attention back to the tom, a brief thought of why he was still here, practically holding a one sided conversation with her. She hadn't said a word to him - hadn't even tried. Yet, he was still here. Not to many cats stuck it out with her for this long . . . . maybe she knew a little more about being alone then she was willing to admit.
