Hailsong smiled as she watched her daughters play together, before frowning to see Sootkit off on her own, staring outside, watching for her father's daily return. Shaking her head, the she-cat had to worry about the little one who loved to play. She had to distract the kit someway. Then another kit flashed through her mind, a brief moment of the memory of a promise, and she had to smile. Gently moving to Sootkit, she licked her daughter's fur, "Come, I have something for you to do, while you wait for your father's return." She purred, leading the black kit from the door. The tiny kit quickly followed after her mother, her long fur fluffed out, her little bob of a tail wiggling. And Hailsong led the kit through the nests to where Firekit was. "Firekit, little one, there you are . . . Come here, I want you to meet someone." She called to the mighty ball of fluff, "Firekit, this is one of my kits, Sootkit. Her sisters are off playing games, so I'll introduce you to them later. but do you mind showing her around the nursery." She asked, playfully smiling, "She needs a mighty warrior to teach her about the nursery and who better than the mightest warrior of them all.

Sootkit stood between her mother's paws as she peered at the unfamiliar she-cat, tilting her head lightly to the side as her tail flicked, the tiny bob wiggling with excitement at a new face. Glancing at her mother to make sure it was okay, Sootkit rushed towards Firekit, smiling brightly, "Hi, I'm Sootkit!" She mewed, giggling, before glancing at her mother, "but, but, daddy's the mightest warrior, isn't he." She paused as her mother winked, Nope, this little warrior is even more mighty then him. She teased with a playful laugh. Eyes wide, the kit looked towards Firekit with shock and awe, clearly believing her mother, "You're a better warrior than daddy . . . wow. . ."
