Note: All Clan leaders have to follow this and must use ceremonies that they made up, not ceremonies from the books.
In order to become an apprentice, you must wait at least 12 days from the acceptance of the application. Why? Because 2 days is equivalent to one moon on AWRP and all kits must be at least 6 moons to be apprenticed, and 2 * 6 = 12. This applies no matter what age the kitten is made at. This is so leaders don't have to make new ceremony threads every second. The mathematics behind it applies only to newborn kittens, however.

For Apprentices
In order to become a warrior, your cat must meet the following requirements:
- At least 3 training sessions; these include one hunting, one fighting, and one learning the territory. Note: Being shown the borders does not have to occur if the apprentice has been on two border patrols (one for each border). Also, hunting patrols and hunting training are not the same things. Hunting training is mainly learning techniques and catching little prey while hunting patrols are for all-out hunting.
- The apprentice must have been on at least 2 patrols. The balance of hunting and border patrols doesn't matter.
- The apprentice must have done at least 2 chores in the Clan. (Chores include the following: providing new nests to any den, bringing moss to the Clan, bringing water to the sick/elderly/queens/kits, helping a medicine cat get herbs, or anything your mentor can think of.)
- The apprentice must have been to the Skyfield with their mentor to speak with their ancestors.
- The apprentice must have an assessment for both hunting and fighting. Whether this is an all-in-one assessment or two separate assessments doesn't matter.
Man, that sure is a lot! How will all that ever get done? That exact thought process is why there are two other routes.
If your character has been an apprentice for one real life month, they are eligible for their warrior ceremony, regardless of training status.
If your character has done something so amazing that their leader is astonished, then that leader's RPer may choose to make your character into a warrior early! As far as AWRP's history is concerned, this has only happened once or twice, so it is really rare, but it can be done.Medicine Cat Apprentices Earning Their Full Names
