Let's keep this a secret(Splash)

[Sand]

Shorttail walked out of the the Sunsetclan camp having decided to go on a walk to clear her head. As her mind wondered she found herself at the pond of truce where the clans met every full moon. Blinking she sat down and gazed up at the sky wondering if her parents were looking over her.

[Splash]

Ripplepool slid silently through the territory. He still thought about Wavepaw. A lot. but, the unhealthy habit of blaming himself for her death with beginning to fade quickly. He soon found himself standing in frost of the Pond of Truce. Closing his eyes, he let the wind play with his fur, gently swirling it around him. It felt calm and soft and relaxing and fond memories found Ripplepool, as the wind sent him into a daydream of the past. Of good times. The sound of pawsteps brought him back to present, and though he didn't outwardly complain, the relaxed, serene look on his face, left s he lowered himself from his tiptoes, sighing as he opened his eyes to the world. To his surprise, he saw an enemy warrior, albeit a good-looking one, standing on the SunsetClan side. He almost felt a bit good that he could think that about someone he should dislike - he was thinking around what was plain and simple. "Hello?" He called.

[Sand]

Shorttail hadn't noticed the tom when she first came and she dipped her head, "Hello, who are you?" she asked him her eyes curious and even though he was from an enemy clan, she thought that he was handsome. "My names Shorttail?" she meowed deciding that it would be better manners if she introduced herself before he answered her question.

[Splash]

Ripplepool padded a bit closer, though not much. "Ripplepool of StormClan." He meowed a bit pridefully. Shorttail, He thought, Fitting. Very. His tail waved lightly, still connected to the slight, soft breeze, and he parted his lips, giving a toothy, crooked smile.

[Sand]

Shorttail smiled back the breeze blowing through her fur, "How has Stormclan been?" she asked trying to be respectful. While she waited for his answer she sat down curling her tail over her paws.

[Splash]

"Quite good." Ripplepool meowed. It wasn't a lie - things had been going good. However, he would have said it if things had been terrible. Never - ever - admit weakness to an enemy warrior, even if they were friendly and nice to look at.

[Sand]

"That's good," Shorttail meowed trying to think of what else to say. "Want to go for a swim," she asked just wanting to do something and since she from Sunsetclan she was a good swimmer.

[Splash]

"Sure." Ripplepool meowed. StormClanners were known for their swimming skills. There were rivers in and on the edge of their territory. The moving water was what had kept Ripplepool strong - not his occasional runs, not the sparring fights he had with Jayfrost. He loved swimming and the idea brought at grin to his face.

[Sand]

"Okay," Shorttail meowed cheerfully and slid into the pond of truce enjoying the feel of the water washing over her back and she smiled at him feeling like she could be herself around him like she was with her clan mates.

[Splash]

Ripplepool took a few steps back before running forward and, when the water was a couple inches deep, jumping. There was a nice-sized splash as a reward for the young tom's efforts and he grinned, feeling like a huge weight had been lifted off his chest.

[Sand]

Shorttail laughed as he jumped in and dove under the surface swimming to the bottom before resurfacing her eyes shining. "My sister teases me that I'm half-fish," she joked happy that her back and head was wet now.

[Splash]

Ripplepool chuckled. "That's a compliment where I come from." He meowed. It was a joke, but, had a bit of truth.

[Sand]

"Yeah, we swim in the water on the beach I remember one time my sister dared me to drink the beach water and I did," Shorttail meowed making a face at the memory. "What about you? Do you have any siblings?" she asked curiously, "I have a sister and a brother," she meowed.

[Splash]

Ripplepool winced a little at the question. "I used to have three. All sisters. but... one was killed by a rogue at a very young age. Dewleaf and Jayfrost are still alive though." He meowed, eyes going to his paws at the bad memory.

[Sand]

"My sister died of green cough when she was a moon old and two moons later my mother died of depression, then my father was killed by a fox, when I was eight moons old so my siblings are really the only family I have," Shorttail meowed flicking her ears.
