Frostclans young and old. [Clan meeting]

Stormstar stepped from within his new den, his head held high. His bright yellow eyes flashing with pride, within himself and his clan. He stood tall as he lifted his head and let out the natural call to bring his clan from their slumber. The early morning sun shone bright on his stormy pelt. He was in a great mood today. He had been appointed the leader of Frostclan, his home since birth. And now he would lead all his clan mates to thriving lives. They were doing well now but he knew they needed a strong leader. He intended to be just that, a strong leader. A smile played on his lips as his clans young and old began to gather before him. He knew they needed him and he would proudly lead his clan.

[Midnight]

Fiery quietly herded her kits out of the nursery, yawning as she did so. The long-furred tortoiseshell had just woken up and cleaned her pelt before Stormstar's call to the Clan. Fiery was, of course, not fully awake yet, and her kits- well, at least Honeykit- hadn't woken up, yet, either.

Honeykit stumbled ahead of her mother, having a hard time not tripping all over her paws. Her eyes were dull for a few moments; that is, until she realized that today might be the day. With that thought in mind, the tortoiseshell she-cat perked her ears eagerly and her eyes brightened. Honeykit was fully awake. She gasped, louder than expected, as she noticed her pelt was a mess, and quickly got to fixing that after sitting down by her mother.


Colonel, Zel, and Corona all slipped out of the warriors' den, one after another. The three toms sat near each other.

Melody made her way out of the warriors' den, accidentally stepping on Corona's tail as she meandered through the clearing, searching for a place to sit. "Sorry," the Siamese she-cat groggily mumbled.

"What's up?!" Koneeko asked as she trotted contentedly out of the apprentices' den and sat near her older brother, Zel.

"Don't know yet." The tom answered.

Featherpaw padded calmly out of the medicine cats' den, sitting near the entrance and watching Stormstar with sharp, keen eyes. So, he's the new leader, right? She silently wondered.

Wolfthorn had been enjoying a good dream when he suddenly heard something. Ears swiveling and paws twitched for a moment before stretching up towards the roof of the warrior's den. He stretched out all four limbs and parted his jaws in a large yawn before turning over onto his stomach, opening his eyes. From where he was he could see the early morning rays shining down into the camp and some cat gathering. "Guess there's a meeting." He said out loud before pushing himself up and stretching once again before heading out.

The tom padded out of the den, noticing the cats gathering around the new leader, Stormstar. 'Hm, wonder what he will say.' He thought to himself as he looked for a place to sit, deciding to go sit by Colonel, Zel, and Corona. "Goodmorning, how are you guys?" He asked in a friendly tone, sitting beside Corona and wrapping his tail over his paws. Green eyes watched Melody looking for a spot so the tom meowed to catch her attention, patting an open spot beside him for her.

I just wanted to say that if anybodys cats missed either getting their warrior names, or need to become apprentices, put it in ooc at the bottom of your post and I'll have him do that . When more people have replied I'll post again.

Leafpaw padded into the clearing and sat down by herself at the edge. She wasn't very up for chatting.

Shadowsong padded out of the warriors den. Her glossy white and grey pelt glimmered in the sunlight. She sat down next to Leafpaw who was almost as big as her and looked up at Stormstar.

Pokey was still in shock, for he had left the apprentice den and moved to the warrior's. At least he had Cherryheart - whom had gotten her name with him. The main thing the Tom worried about was that Riber of Red may treat them differently. but he didn't have to think of that right now. He lay in the warrior den, his eyes softy going over the dark figures in the den. Cherryheart have a soft snore, her fur brushing his. They had been really tired after sitting all night, so the others had let him and the she cat sleep.

but when the new leader called, he didn't stop himself from getting to his paws. He softly poked Cherryheart, who mumbled but got to her paws. They walked out of the den together and looked up at the leader, questioning in their eyes. They feared for the worst, though.

Fallensnow quickly padded forth to Stormstar's side. He dipped his head in greeting. He tried to hide his excitement, but his honey coloured eyes glowed and his furry tail stuck straight up. His first meeting as the deputy! He had no idea how he even got here. Though he was much older than his leader, he treated him with the utmost respect. The brown tom took his place beside him, and sat with his chest out and his ears pricked.

Flurrytail yawned and stood from his nest. He was still tired from guarding the camp the night before. He still couldn't believe he was a warrior now. Of course, he had been too stubborn to show his excitement. He stretched his long legs and cleaned his soft grey fur before he padded out into the gloomy day. His green eyes narrowed only slightly. It was always so overcast here. He could kill for a little sunshine. He shrugged and sat in the gathering area, but slightly away from the others, tail curled over his paws.

Stormstar watched his clan gather before him, his yellow eyes alight with pride. A smile on his maw. He looked to his deputy whom was much older than he. He gave him a formal dip of his head. He liked the tom and thought he would do well as his deputy. He saw Honeykit, and Acornkit. They were old enough now to become warriors. And so they should. Some needed their warrior upgrade. While many apprentices were mentorless. He knew there was much work to be done here. And he must get his clan in order. Get it running correctly. He stepped forward standing tall.

"As you all know I have become Stormstar leader of Frostclan. LIke many of you I grew up here. I plan to lead you all in the best possible way I can. I plan to set things right in the clan. We are strong, but we are stronger together and in proper working order.I will do my best by you all, along with the help of my trusted new deputy, Fallensnow!" he said in strong tones that carried to the very edges of the camp. HIs eyes flashed as they found Honeykit and Acornkit. [B["It is my understanding that many are over due for the change. Starclan has spoken with me and bade me to set these things right."

[/b] he said a small smile flashing on his lips.

"Honeykit and Acornkit, come forth please." he said in his most summoning voice. Though he gave them each in turn a friendly smile, after all who wanted to scare a kit. He waited for them to come forth before speaking. "Honeykit, Acorn kit, you two are long over due to become apprentices and begin your training to become warriors. Today I gift you with the transition you need to one day protect your clan. Honeykit you will be Honeypaw, and you will now sleep in the apprentices den. I myself will mentor you." he said looking into the new apprentices eyes. He leaned forward to touch his nose to her head between her eyes. He had his own unique way of doing things. To him the movement was his blessing. "Acornkit." he said his eyes moving to the other kit. "You will become Acornpaw, and as well will move to the apprentices den. You will be mentored by Wolfthorn. he said once more coming forth to touch his nose between the new apprentices eyes. "You may both step down, Honeypaw I will meet with you after the meeting. Acornpaw you may go and get to know your mentor." he said dismissing the two.

His eyes scanned the crowd, landing breifly on his crush Shadowsong. He gave her the breifest flicker o a smile before returning to his business. Leafpaw was next on his agenda. "Leafpaw you are in need of a mentor. You will be mentored by Colonel. I have faith you will do well with your warrior training." he said nodding his head to her. She was already an apprentice no need for anything special. His golden eyes scanned the rest of the still gathering crowd. "Koneeko come forth please" he called forth the apprentice his golden eyes finding her. He waited patiently for her to come. "Koneeko you have done fine as an apprentice I am told. I have understanding it is time for you to become a warrior. You will keep the name Koneeko, but you are now a warrior. You will guard the camp today and tonight. Do well as a warrior and you will achieve much." he said, once again touching his nose between the cats eyes.

His yellow gaze went to the rest of the clan, he knew this was not all the ceremonies he needed to do. So he sat himself down and scanned the crowd a moment longer. To see just who he had missed.

Leafpaw stepped forth eyes shining as she spotted her new mentor. Her whiskers quivered in excitement. She raised her head high and waited for Colonel to come forth for them to greet.

Wolfthorn sat and listened to Stormstar speak, talking about how they were strong together and introduced the new deputy, Fallensnow. All that ran through the tom's head was that he hoped good would come for the clan, of course there would be times where they would struggle but hopefully evil and unfortunate events would not occur. His ear flicked as the leader went on, calling forth two kits and naming them apprentices. He shifted, wondering who would be their mentors and not a second later Acornkit was named Acornpaw and given Wolfthorn as his mentor. The warrior froze, shaking his head and looked up at his leader. So he did hear correctly. "Wow, my first apprentice."

[/color] The tom smiled, looking at his clanmates a brief moment before pushing himself up and walking forward to where the newly made apprentice was and touched noses with her.

Also, She-Wolf: I adopted Daisypaw out a while back. I'm not sure if she's been put back up by the adopter or not, however, I do wish to start Acornpaw's training, so if you don't mind making a thread for that, that would be great. : D

Honeypaw's eyes widened, and suddenly, she was trembling. What would normally be her yowling her own name arrogantly was instead a speechless, hollow kitty who couldn't think straight. Stormstar was going to mentor her?! She had no FrostClan blood to her at all, and not to mention the fact that it seemed really rare for the leader, the new leader, to mentor any apprentice! "T-thank you, Stormstar." Honeypaw managed to get out, still in complete shock. She was very, very grateful and happy, however, and to show it, she also dipped her head, because that was really the best the tortoiseshell could do at that moment.

Acornpaw's claws sank into the ground in both excitement and jealousy. She was finally an apprentice! This was the next step. She'd rise the ladder, and become something great in the Clan. The ambitious tabby cat, however, was very jealous of Honeypaw. Shouldn't the great Acornpaw be the leader's apprentice, not that gross, patch-pelted arrogant brat over there? It wasn't fair in Acornpaw's mind, but she knew that if she didn't want to stay in the nursery for more time, she'd have to take what she could get. "Thank you." Acornpaw copied Honeypaw, but her words were much more steady, and she dipped her head, too.

Honeypaw padded back over to where her mother sat, and sat down herself, waiting patiently for the meeting to be over so she could learn how Stormstar was going to be training her.

Acornpaw flicked her tail tip in response to the leader, standing and padding off with her ears perked so she'd hear her mentor when Wolfthorn called for her; if he did.

Ah, one apprentice after another. Colonel thought, quite pleased that he had been chosen to take on another apprentice. The large tom padded over to his new apprentice, quietly saying, "Thank you, Stormstar. I will train her to be a loyal, well-serving warrior for the Clan." Looking at Leafpaw, Colonel nodded, "You are to meet me at the camp entrance when this meeting is over. I will give you a tour of the territory and explain my training methods to you." The tom touched his nose to Leafpaw's before padding back to his place and sitting. He hoped she would be able to handle his strict training, because if she didn't handle it well, then he'd request that she stay an apprentice longer. The less respect and willingness, the more chores. That's how I train. Colonel thought.

Koneeko purred loudly, blinking to Stormstar as she was made a warrior. "Thanks, Stormstar!" The gray tabby's tail waved high in the air, and she was quite pleased with herself for having gotten to become a warrior!

Zel shuddered for a moment. His little sister was a warrior. I wish everything would've stayed the same. Why did we have to grow up, sis? The tom sighed. He didn't start the calling of the names. No other cat has yet, and it looks like Stormstar might not be done yet. Zel decided.

Dusk-kit sat next to Fiery and watched her sisters pad up to Stormstar and become apprentices. She was very happy for them, but also a bit jealous. Dusk-kit wanted to become an apprentice but she knew she had to wait until the leader thought she was ready. She smiled at her sisters and listened to the rest of the ceremonies.

Fiery was quite proud. That meant one biological kit and one adopted kit, respectively, out of the nursery! However, the tortoiseshell tipped her head to the side slightly and glanced at Stormstar. The queen wrapped her tail around Dusk-kit and softly mewed, "You'll get your turn. I don't know when, but I know you will." One of Fiery's ears twitched, and she thought something horrible, I swear, Stormstar, if you hurt my kits by not giving them their ceremonies, you're going to get it. The she-cat's name really did suite her, even if her personality was far from what her mother had named her for.

Stormstar smiled brightly at Honeypaw. He knew she was a difficult she-cat sometimes but he'd shape her up if its the last thing he did. She would make a fine warrior one day. He admired Colonels training ways, and was much the same in the strict department. "Your welcome." he mewed in turn to each whom said thank you. He noticed little Acornpaw fuming, but since she held it in he would not have to make an example of her and sentence her to another moon of being a kit. He looked over the anxious crowd, he knew the name chanting was on their minds. The excitement in his own belly mirrored theirs.

His yellow eyes found Fiery, the queen with the very apt name. He smiled genuinely at her, he knew she wanted all her kits to be apprentices. Thats when his golden eyes found someone he knew he'd missed. "Dusk-kit please come forth." his voice rang out, his golden eyes watching her. He waited on her before he began the process. "You like your sisters are over due to become an apprentice. I beleive you will make a fine apprentice, I name you Duskpaw, and you will now sleep in the apprentices den. You will be mentored by Fallensnow." he said with a bright smile at her. He leaned down and touched his nose to between her eyes. "You are free to meet up with your new mentor now" he said gently dismissing her.

His golden eyes again scanned the camp, he just knew there were more. His body language said for his clan to not start the chanting yet, for he knew theyd have many named to chant. They were no small clan. Though they did have the least numbers of the rest of the clans, he knew what they lacked in numbers they made up for in strength and loyalty.
