Wildfire walked out of the warriors den stretching her muscles rippling under her pelt. She had just become an apprentice and she had just become a mentor she knew it was because they didn't have a lot of free cats who could mentor an apprentice. Just about everyone had an apprentice now except for the newer warriors and a few of those new comers. She would never understand why Fangstar would allow outsiders and other clan cats to join the clan. She quickly groomed her fur before stalking over to the warriors den. She didn't know if Squirrelpaw was even in here but this would be the first place she would look. It was barely past dawn so she guessed that her apprentice was still asleep.
"Hey, Squirrelpaw are you in here?" she meowed her voice not sarcastic for once most of the time it was hard to tell if she was being sarcastic or for real. She was really trying not to be sarcastic right now though after all this was her first apprentice. She knew very little about Squirrelpaw just that he had recently become an apprentice. She retreated from the warriors den and looked around. Nope she didn't see any apprentices wondering around the clearing. She just hoped her apprentice wouldn't keep her waiting for long she didn't have a lot of patience this morning. She supposed she should start by showing her apprentice the ceremony. And if her apprentice didn't get on her bad side maybe they would hunt some but that all depended on rather Squirrelpaw got on her last nerves. She was started to get really impatient and sighed.
She wanted to start viewing the territory before Sunhigh not much time had passed but more cats were now moving around the clearing. She wondered if she should make her apprentice eat something before they left but she dismissed the thought. 'He can eat when he gets back as soon as he shows up we're leaving,' she thought before retreating to the entrance of camp to wait for her apprentice her eyes still scanning the clearing before going back to the apprentice den. She wouldn't give her apprentice another wake-up call.
