Rosaceous League
Origins of pokémon have been studied for years. It has been told that pokémon once lived on a meteor that circled around the planet for years. but then, the meteor suddenly switched course and smashed into Planet Earth. The pokemon crawled out of the meteor and made a home on the planet. For many years, pokemon expanded over the planet with the Humans. They would eventually come to meet one and other. Humans have been greatly fascinated with pokémon for many years.
Scientists have never been able to find the origin of a fossil that they believe is a rib bone. No pokemon in existance resembles it in the slightest, not even Mew, that contains DNA of all pokemon. In reality, this pokémon is called Xerxies. This pokémon lived on earth before the others did. This pokemon could survive without air and lived in space for many years before hitting planet Earth, long before the meteor. Xerxies is capable of changing into any form it chooses at any given moment; whether it be other humans, objects, or pokemon. Xerxies lived as many different humans over centuries and became extremely intelligent.
History tells the story of two neighboring tribes. Those of the Eastern continent lived in prosperity of great health and fortune; they called their land Edris. Those of the Western continent suffered as their land could not bring them great food; they called their name Garros. The Western people enslaved pokémon in order to bring their people greatness. The enslaved pokémon were used to keep fields fresh, houses warm, and beds clean. They were treated worse than mere animals and were never considered equals.
Humans had devised many contraptions that kept the pokémon weak and unstable. These horrid humans lived like this for a hundred years before a man named Axis was born. He was raised believing that pokémon were equals and should be treated as such. With the help of many who also believed in the pokémon's freedom, he managed to change the ways of the Garros. Although, he would die knowing that the cause was not complete. Slavory of the pokémon would continue in Garros for another fifty years until the rising of the legendary pokémon, Xerxies. This legendary beast took form of a human and over ran the people of Garros. He managed to corrupt their government until the point of breaking. With so much chaos, pokémon managed to escape and run free once more.
While slavory ruled the lives of pokémon in Garros, the people of Edris were facing problems of a new light. The people of Edris saw pokémon as simple, yet powerful, creatures. They felt it was not necessary to get involved in a pokémon's life, unless they got in their own way. As the people of Edris spread across the continent, they came into contact with many pokémon habitat and destroyed many of it. Pokémon would either be left with nothing, or be forced to fight against the people of Edris.
Many humans would lose their lives and many pokémon would suffer a horrible fate as they would grow old without a home and even starve to death. This continued on for 80 years, until a young peasant boy wrote a story about the pokémon. The king of the village found the story and was convinced that it had been from the West, since many peasants were not alowed to write. He became immediently moved and forced his people to stop the destruction of pokémon lands. Many humans who read the boy's story would be moved and would create homes for pokémon, many humans began taking pokémon in as pets and family members. The people of Edis would be the very first pokémon trainers, breeders, and scientists.
Eventually, the people of Garros would face Revolutions as they tried to fix the corrupt system that the pokémon Xerxies had caused. With this, many pokémon fled to the wild and became natural enemies of humans as they grew to hate them. Eventually, the people of Garros would be met by the people of Edris as they built ships and traveled across the ocean. At first, all seemed well, until the people of Garros learned that the people of Edris shared their lives with the pokémon. They felt disgusted and casted the Edris people away, sending them home on burning ships. The king couldn't wait to sentance war, but his people felt that they had more important things to do. So, he allowed the first democracy; allowing his people to vote. It came close, but it was final that war would not occur. Eventually, the people of Garros managed to calm the rioting and resettle the system.
Over the years, the kingdom of Edris became very powerful, while the Garros kingdom suffered horribly for many years before managing to overcome the chaos. In the end, the king of Edris would come to be murdered by a person once of the kingdom of Garros. With the kings death being by the hands of a Garros, war was inevitable.
