If your cat is not on the list, they will not be recognized as a LeafClan member! This means that they cannot receive any ceremonies, be it getting a mentor or becoming a warrior. 

Froststar holds the warrior code in high regard. This means that he will handle the addition of loners to the clan on a case by case basis. Loners who wish to be part of LeafClan but who have not spoken to Froststar in character will not be added to the list! All cats on the list must have appropriate clan names. Froststar will give those he approves an appropriate name if necessary.
