but we loved with a love.. ..That was more than love |
~ ❤ ~ The boundaries which divide life from death... Ah.. Such a beautiful day, bright, sun shinning although it was a tad chilly after all it was only newleaf. A sleek white warrior stretched her way out of the den, the sunlight hit her white fur and seemed to make it 'glow'. She blinked her eyes open and bright green matched her glowing white fur, she shook out her pelt and then pulled her back legs close as she went down into a sitting position. She licked down her chest fur that had once been poofing out but now sleeked down and laid flat, she continued this for a good moment as she stretched this way and that getting all of her fur. Featherheart finished her grooming with a good yawn and a small shake of her body giving her fur that perfect poof look but not too much poof- you know how she-cats are. She looked back at the warrior den hearing something Wolfshadow A burning hot feeling shot across her face and spread down her chest..legs... back.. until her whole body felt like it was blushing. She quickly turned her head feeling like her white fur would turn pink and then red with her blush. She sighed softly and twitched an ear nervously, they had not spoken since that day... the day he broke down in front of her. A burning sensation shot through her again and she looked down at her paws sorrow and and loneliness filled her eyes. She needed to get away and have some time to herself... time to think about how she felt about.. him. ..Wolfshadow.. ..are at best shadowy and vague. Outside the clearing soft green vegetation awaited her eyes, thin stems of flowers that held little buds seemed to be reaching out to the sky- to the sun needing its help to bloom. She touched her soft pink nose to one her eyes going cross eyed staring at the bud as she wondered what color it would be when it bloomed. Featherheart smiled and then bounded off towards the pond of truce, it was a little ways and she would be back late but hopefully no one would notice her absence. Wolfshadow will, and he is the deputy Are you suggesting he would tell on me? No but he may come looking for you. May. Key word. I'm not important to him. Her heart ached at her thoughts and she realized she had slowed down to a soft walk, pausing she turned to look back at where the camp would be off in the distance. She felt a smidge of anger trickle down her chest and touch her heart. He would only come to look for her for the Clans sake. Thus she was running again but faster, trees blurring by her and the stems of plants and other things smacked against her legs. Wolfshadow Who shall say where one ends... There it was, the pond of truce. She broke past the tree line and slowed as she reached the river. Her breath came out in small pants and she glanced from side to side, she was alone right? Something in her fur made her feel uneasy...maybe she should go back. Wolfshadow No. She would stay as long as she wanted and she would enjoy her quiet time here and use it to think. She leaped across the small stream and headed towards the nearest tree- which was quite a large one... Her small claws dug into the bark and she toke all of her frustration out on the bark pulling herself higher.. and higher... and higher. The sun was high in the sky as she felt its hot beams on her back and top of her head. Where was a branch? Had she only climb so little? Featherheart tried to look up but the sun blinded her and she quickly turned her head to look down. Dizzy. Her head spun and she felt like the world had slowed. she was quite a ways up, at least 4 fox lengths from the ground. She breathed in and moved her right paw from the bark and moved it down trying to work her way down. Her left paw followed her right paw... Hey... I only wanted my right paw to move away from the bark... The tree in front of her face seemed to be moving away and then the sun was blinding her eyes again as she began to fall back first to the ground. Wolfshadow.. Her small white paws stretched out to the blinding sun, like a flower trying to bloom. Her petite white body fell from the tree and aimed to hit the green ground back first. Wolfshadow... catch me.. ...and another begins. |
