Cloudpaw's slender legs moved in perfect rhythm with his, breaking sync every now and then to shift sideways as she inched closer to him. The closer she got as they walked, the stronger his scent became, and the more clouded her head was. He smelled of pine needles and the wind. Such an exotic scent, so wild and free... She couldn't take it. The small white she-cat let her soft fur tickle his flank and leaned her head lightly against his shoulder, a purr rumbling in her throat as she looked up at him with sweet blue eyes. To her disappointment, he didn't even glance at her, his gaze fixed ahead.
"Hmm? I didn't pin you for one to be shy," she purred, putting a little more pressure into her lean. They emerged into the clearing, the dark sky swirled with stars that shone with the brilliance of their ancestors. It was a new moon, and there was little light to guide them as they padded carefully across the clearing. Birchflame stopped next to the pool in the middle, staring into the dark waters for a few mysterious heartbeats, before he turned to his companion and gave her a suggestive smirk.
"I'm not."
And just like that, she was laying on the ground, the grass soft on her back and his paws placed firmly on either side of her face. She didn't know how they got there. She didn't care. All that she could think about was his scent, deep pine and the wind, flooding into every part of her being, dominating her mind, pushing for more. He lowered his muzzle to her neck as she closed her eyes and exhaled. His breath was hot against her fur. She needed this. She needed this now.
Suddenly, something pricked the skin at her neck. At first, Cloudpaw ignored it, but as it pressed harder, something warm trickled down her skin. She felt him smile into her neck and froze as the realization of just what he was going to do struck her. Terror reached her before his words did."Sorry, sweetheart, this is gonna hurt..."
