Ooc: Wow! Well basically the thread that I'm going to use later, so I'll have to save this-- but it's everything that has been going through my head/Wildpaw's. Enjoy the other side of her! :3

Come around, come around make a wall of thunder
Be a spark in the dark, that tidal wave that’s ignite
Build it up now, waiting for the drop is the wonder
Oh, what a sound, weighing down on a beautiful sun
Dark tabby paw's were a blur as the young feline raced towards the Pond of Truce. It had been a long while since the she-cat had traveled this way alone, but was fully prepared to meet the cat that was waiting for her there. The two had briefly talked at the last gathering, and she knew inside her mind that she was going to probably have to make a decision. As she drifted closer and closer to the glistening lake, her mind grew clearer. No long were there feeling's of guilt, and no longer were there feelings of worry. Just one feeling seemed to radiate of her tonight, and that was joy.
I need a soundwave, no slowing down, sing woah, woah
Into the sunrays, no cooling down, sing woah, woah
Let’s just keep going on
Let’s just keep goin’
The two hadn't actually talked about their fate, nor did she know if she was making this entire feeling up, but at the moment she didn't care. She was actually excited to have someone on her side for once. For months, the two cats had been meeting in secret after a chance meeting a gathering. The once gangly new warrior had struck the outgoing tabby as someone fresh and exciting. The two had clicked right off the bat, and had again, by chance met the next night at the lake.
At first the meeting's had been purely innocent with friendship radiating off the two, but slowly it had began to bud into something else. Something she wasn't sure Frogleap knew about, but she just prayed he would take her decision well. Pausing slightly out of breath she glanced over her shoulder and could barely see the tree's that surrounded her Clan's camp outlined in the dying sunlight and a feeling of emotion rushed over her. Could she do this? Could she actually leave? Taking a deep breath she picked up a run again and pushed speed into her her paw's.
Skidding to a stop she quickly found the place they had always met, and looked around herself. He wasn't here yet. Feeling slightly irritated she began to knead the ground, hoping he would be there soon. Black tipped ears swiveled over her head and she began to pace, knowing her mentor would've scolded her for her impatience. A slight pang went through her at the though and she quickly shoved it back into it's right place; into a tiny container and locked it away. She didn't need these thoughts right now. She didn't need to think about that. She didn't to think about Ratstar, or Sandsparrow, or Russetpaw, or Fallowmist, and she definitely didn't need to think about Birchflame.
No comin’ down, comin’ down, keep the innovations
Say hello to the crowd, our firebirds into the night
Turn it up now, sending only good vibrations
A whole wall of sound crushing down all around
What a beautiful life
The name seemed to rip through her and she paused in her pacing. The fiery tom and dark tabby feline had been growing closer over the past few months; much to her surprise. The first few time's the two had met, he had intrigued her but she had decided that he wasn't good for her, and had pushed the thought of him away. A month later the two had met per-chance during the night, and they actually attacked one another. After that their meetings often began or ended with clashing's, but that still hadn't deterred those stubborn feelings from growing. For whatever reason's, and Wildpaw despised admitting it, she cared for the fire-furred tom with the matching personality. She had tried to reason that he was no good, and could only lead to her destruction, but for some reason she couldn't shake what she really saw. To her she saw a fragile, fiery, stubborn, outgoing tom who needed saving from whatever darkness possessed him. Wildpaw also knew deep down that she was feeling the same way.
Gathering her thoughts she began to pace again, not wanting to reflect on this confusing jumble of emotions. It wasn't worth it, she didn't need those thoughts right now. She had made her choice. She was leaving. Although she had grown up in Sunsetclan, she didn't truly belong after her fight and almost death of her mentor. No one wanted to be with her, and no one wanted to talk to her. No one wanted her.
Birchflame.
Growling in anger she struck a paw at the surface of the water. She couldn't think about him! She was making a decision for the first time in her life, and she couldn't back out. She wouldn't back out. Praying that Frogleap would soon make an appearance she began to do figure eights. Her paws crunched the gravel as she moved while her muscles rolled underneath her pelt. She had grown in her Clan; budding from a naive, incredibly stubborn with a heart in the right place into a strong, determined, and still incredibly stubborn adult.
"You are still an apprentice."
"You are still an apprentice."
"No one wants you."
"No one will look at you."
"Leaving is the best decision."
Her words were barely audible while she muttered this over and over to herself, as if she was still trying to convince herself that this was the right decision. Green eyes blazed in fierce concentration as memory after memory flashed before her like they were trying to remind her about her life before the trouble began. Frogleap's frame flashed amongst them and then Birchflame, causing her head to shake in confusion. Slinking down to her haunches she sighed, her emotion draining from her limbs. She couldn't go through with this. She wouldn't go through with this.
Her Clan still needed her, and she still needed to fix things with her mentor. Prove to him that she was still the cat she could be. Snarling in frustration she stood up again, a new feeling of bitter resentment replacing the feeling of guilt. She needed to prove anything to him. She needed to prove something to herself.
That she was worth something.
