Flamepaw was annoyed the only thing he wanted was to become a warrior but it seemed like that wasn't going to happen any time soon. 'I can't believe that I still haven't become a warrior,' he thought scornfully. He knew that possible reasons that he hadn't become a warrior yet was because he couldn't stay out of trouble. Whenever he looked after the elders he was disrespectful and would talk back to them. 'It's like they actually expect apprentices to be happy that they are looking after the elders. What cat actually wants to clean out their sticky nest and check them for ticks,' he thought lashing his tail his eyes blazing. 'I know that I can't stay in camp any longer,' he thought slipping out of the apprentice den and headed towards the camp entrance slipping outside.
Once outside her paused wondering where he would go. 'I haven't gone to the Abandoned Twoleg Nest in awhile, so I'll go there,' he thought. He usually didn't go to the Abandoned Twoleg Nest but he figured he would have a better chance of being alone if he went there. He really wasn't in the mood to deal with an annoying clan mate telling him what to do or how he should live his life. 'They tried to tell my mother that, and now look at her she is finally getting her dream of training to be a warrior,' he thought. He still couldn't believe that his mother had been given a chance to prove her worth when she had been apprentice aged. Instead she had been sent straight to the elders den because of her deafness but that hadn't stopped her from getting together with his father. After she had, had him and his siblings and after his father had disappeared his mother had asked Ratstar to led her train to be a warrior. Only then had Ratstar finally agreed so when he had become an apprentice so had his mother. The tom narrowed his eyes and shook his head in irritation before starting on his way to the Abandoned Twoleg Nest.
The young tom plodded through the territory his senses tuned into whatever was going on around him. He always paid attention to his surroundings since he didn't like being caught of guard. It was pretty rare for him to be caught off guard since he was always so in tune to his surroundings. The tom walked slowly across Sunsetclan territory until he reached the Abandoned Twoleg Nest. 'Finally I'm here,' Flamepaw thought lashing his tail. 'It's no wonder that I rarely come here, I always seem to forget how far out of the way it is,' he thought flicking his ears back and forth. He took a moment to gaze up at the sky before heading into the Abandoned Twoleg Nest.
Once inside he walked over to a secluded spot and sat down. 'I should probably do some hunting, but not right not,' the tom though listening to the sound of mice scurrying around him. He closed his eyes for a moment thinking of his father and felt a familiar pang of loss and longing. 'Thrushfall why did you leave?' he thought and bowed his head for a moment his thoughts still on his father. He still couldn't believe that his father had just up and left like he had. He had loved his father and he knew his father had loved him, Hollysong and his other siblings so he didn't get why his father had just up and disappeared. "Was it all fake, did he even really love us," he wailed quietly. He would never let his clan mates see his pain since he usually acted a little cold with his clan mates. He didn't want the pity or sympathy of his clan mates so he kept his pain hidden from his clan mates.
