Kayla padded through the rocky territory, enjoying the heat of Greenfleaf. Finally, Leafbare had passed after that long while.
but Leafbare isn't that bad...she smiled as some thoughts started forming in her head...That's how I met Wolfpelt...She smiled. She trotted along the edge of some sort of...Erm...Chasm? She really didn't have the word for it. It looked like she was being uncautious, but actually she was still a bit on the edge. She knew she had to be a
careful around these things. A slip, an anything, and you were on your to Starclan. but she had to get used to it. She was a Talonclan cat after all.
Another thought then occurred to her. She had gotten to know Wolfeplt very well...but she wanted to know a bit about his son, Mudpaw. She sniffed around, hoping he was around. It was a bit of a sudden thought, but she couldn't help it.

Mudpaw was busy at the moment getting back into the hang of hunting again, his eyes were still tired but he powered through none the less so that he could become a warrior and get finally hang out with his friends like he used to do when they were all apprentices

Kayla kept sniffing the air a bit, seeing if she could catch Mudpaw's scent. Finally! She saw him trying to get the hang of hunting again. She padded over to him. She really didn't know how to start this conversation.
What? Weren't you the one that wanted to desperately talk to him just a minute ago? She scolded herself mentally. She had been looking for Mudpaw, and there he was. No backing down now.

She hoped he wouldn't get angry. Last time he had been pretty nice. And she had learned that weird thing about him, how he seemed to...Read other cat's dreams? She didn't know. Anyways, he knew basically everything that was going on...At least, it seemed like it. She wondered if Wolfpelt knew about this too. Maybe yes, maybe no. She really wasn't very aware of the father-son relationship Mudpaw and Wolfpelt had, and she felt guilty about it. Mudpaw was, in a way, family. She sat down, waiting for his response. Slightly worried.
About what? Come one, relax. She told herself. but she couldn't. Everytime she did, she remembered how cold he had been. but then he had been nice. Was he finally developing some sort of liking for her, or at least tolarance? She kept waiting.

Mudpaw got up from his crouch "hello Kayla" he said licking his paw and washing his face casually "exploring the territory? now that's it's warm enough to actually walk around with worrying about losing your paws to the cold" he raises his eyebrow a little grooming his fur until it was nice and even

Kayla almost sighed a sigh of relief, but stopped herself just in time. So either he was in a good mood, or he had started liking or at least tolerating her. She desperately hoped it was the latter. She hated being hated, if that made sense. She didn't know why, but she couldn't stand it when other cats didn't stand her. At least, for valid reasons. She had never had a rivalry, but she knew that cats that did really hated each other. She didn't want to have a rivalry with Mudpaw!
Ugh, I'm loosing track of my thoughts again...If that's even possible...
She just smiled and replied.
-I'm just taking a stroll though the Talonclan. Yes, it is nice to be able to do so without freezing you paw off.
She chuckled. She could've sworn once it had almost fallen off.

"not much else to do in leaf bare really except the heat pool but I usually just use to work on my swimming" he shrugs he knew most of Talonclan didn't swim but he was half Stormclan and he rather enjoyed swimming it certainly didn't hurt that he knew how anyway"

She smiled. Not that she had the right to judge him if he was a half-clanner, she wasn't even a quarter-clanner...
-Say Mudpaw...If I'm not a clan cat but Wolfpelt is, does that make my kits half-clanners?
She had noticed that sometimes, cats were touchy about this subject. Was it because it was forbidden? She didn't know.

"I am half Stormclan, and yes in a way you're kits will be half loner and half Talonclan having kits between to clan is against the warrior code but it's the one rule that's broken the most, probably the most harmless rule but it can cause problems sometimes, say for example you were in Leafclan when you met my father and the two clans got into a fight, you wouldn't want to hurt my father and he wouldn't want to hurt you even through your loyalties should stay with your clans"

She was curious. She was beginning to think that either this kid was very intuitive, or he could read her mind. She smiled. Wolfpelt was lucky to have a special son like him.
I wonder what Mudpaw thinks of me...What I'd give to know...
You can just ask him, genius...She retorted mentally. Sure, she could just ask him, but she didn't want to push her luck. He was already being friendly...
Oh, stop worrying to much...She told herself...but she couldn't help it. She guessed worrying was part of her.
