Frost, thread between Whitepaw and Minnowpaw

Whitepaw padded along towards the Pond of Truce. His muscles were soar from all the training that he did last night in the dark forest with Nightfire. She was a tough opponent but Whitepaw was slowly building up more muscles and it getting stronger every day. Currently he had no mentor because his last mentor retired to the elders den so he was trained by several random warriors at the moment. The older apprentice was getting annoyed with training with different warriors everyday. He was waiting for the leader to choose him a new mentor. So for the day he snuck out of camp avoiding who ever was supposed to mentor him today. He was glad that he found the dark forest, because Nightfire seemed to train him way better than any of the warriors in Sunsetclan. 

Finally the large dark brown apprentice appeared at the Pond of Truce. He thought about all the training with Nightfire, and he knew that he should practice them. That was one of the main reasons that he came here because if he would practice these moves in Sunsetclan they would question him on where he learned them. So he came to the Pond of Truce. He glanced around his sharp amber eyes seemed to spot nothing. So he turned and looked down into the pond and he leaned down taking a drink of water.

A soft laugher rang though the forest, soon followed by a groan and several small thumps. A certain black she-cat was currently speeding though Stormclan territory, her golden eyes bright. Maybe, to other clan cats, it would seem strange that a cat who was almost a warrior was playing kitten games, but to her clan, it was perfectly normal. Everyday Minnowpaw and her brother Shellpaw would go out and play hide-in-go-seek or tag. Today it just so happened to be hide-in-go-seek. Well, Minnowpaw hated losing, so she bent the rules every once in a while. She would go to the pond of truce, with they weren't allowed to hide near, and sit there. Well turns out she really shouldn't of hid there. Like never again. There, sitting at the pond of truce, was a intimidating tom-cat, about the age of a older apprentice or young warrior. Minnowpaw gave a small gasp, quickly ducking under a nearby bush. 'Please don't see me, please don't see me, please don't see me.' She thought, squeezing her honey colored eyes shut and praying to Starclan that Nightshade didn't come to her like her did when she was in times of trouble. He always asked for her to do something fucked up and evil, so she mostly ignored him.

Whitepaw lapped up some water then he just watched the ripples of the water break his reflection. When they stopped he looked down and saw his face, the dark brown fur made his amber eyes stick out. He just narrowed his eyes and was about to take another drink of water when he heard a gasp. He instantly whipped around towards the sound just as he saw a flash of black fur disappear in the bushes. He tasted the air and smelt another clan. Stormclan. Instantly his claws were out and he was padding towards the the bushes where the black fur disappeared into. His white claws from his white paw glistened in the sunlight and once he got up to the bush he growled "There's no point of hiding."

[Frost]

A small yelp left the she-cat, the cat giving her a small scare. Quickly, the small apprentice slid out her long, black, claws and prepared herself for a fight. 'Fight him! Shellpaw is on his way, maybe you two ripping his throat out could result in you two bonding! Who knows?' a soft voice meowed, though it didn't bother her too much. After a moment of silence, the pretty she-cat stood up, her eyes glowing with a mix of emotions. "Soooo....are you trying to pick a fight? 'Cause honestly, you win. I'm just tired and what to continue on wining hide-in-go-seek." Minnowpaw meowed, though she was still ready to kick his but in a fight if it came down to it. "Oh, by the way, I'm Minnowpaw." She said, shaking her head to get a stray leaf off of it.

He heard the yelp and the tom just narrowed his eyes. He was almost glad that he had intimated her. It made his heart race with the anticipation on what was coming next. The apprentice didn't show that, he just kept looking down at the bush waiting for the cat to come out. Finally another cat stood up and came out, he was looking at honey colored eyes. He took in easily on what he was up against looking at her from head to toe. He notice that her claws were out as well and he just snorted. He listened and when his amber eyes traveled back up to her honey ones the cat shook her head and a leaf drifted off to the ground. Whitepaw instantly flashed out a paw bringing the leaf down to the ground instantly his claws stuck in the leaf. His amber gaze on Minnowpaw the whole time. He just simply stated, "Not particularly. but I am always prepared for a fight if need be." Then the tom flicked his brown tail pointing at her own claws, not even glancing down at her paws he just smirked and said, "Just as I see you are doing Minnowpaw. So let me ask you the same question. Are you trying to pick a fight?"

Minnowpaw gave a grin as he pinned the leaf down to the ground. Listening close to what he had to say, she just gave a small huff and a roll of her eyes. "That's nice, but I don't feel anymore intimidated if that was your goal. And no, I don't care to start a fight, tom." she meowed, only addressing him by his gender cause he didn't share his name. "Okay, I shared my name, it's only fair if you share yours." The Stormclanner said, her mouth forming into a devilish smirk. That is, till she heard a loud groan and screech echo though out the forest, the voice far too familiar. A nervous and slightly horrified expression. "Shellpaw...?" She whispered, eyes wide.

Whitepaw just watched her. He saw that she had rolled her eyes and he was kind of confused why she had. "She-cats are so weird" He thought and then when she started talking again he just narrowed his eyes. She was a smart one that was for sure. Usually the cat he dealt with were to excited to think correctly. He thought about Cinderpaw the apprentice that he just had a conversation with the other day. This she-cat was very different than Cinderpaw. He really didn't know what to think about that. So he just replied simply to Minnowpaw, "No it wasn't my goal. Personally I just wanted to sink my claws into something, and I figured that you would rather have me have my claws in a leaf rather than your pelt." Then he sheathed his claws and took his one paw and put it back under his shoulders. He just listened to her next statement and he just narrowed his eyes and growled slightly, "Don't tell me whats fair and not fair Minnowpaw. I was getting around to saying my name I was just waiting for the right moment. but since you are just like every other demanding she-cat that I seem that I have no choice do I. I'm Whitepaw." The the tom heard a screech the brown apprentice turned his head towards the sound and then he looked back at Minnowpaw and he saw that her eyes were wide. "I'm guessing your in trouble huh?"

[Frost]

A dark growl escaped Minnowpaw's throat, though she retracted her long claws. "Not me. My brother. He cant fight like me, but he can hunt, so he might be of just fell like a mouse-brain, but maybe not..." She meowed, listening closely for her older brother's voice. Luckily, Shellpaw knew Minnowpaw was close by, most likely ready to fight something that had attacked him, so he quickly yelled back. "I'm okay, Fishface." a faint voice yelled, causing Minnowpaw to let out a sigh of relief. "Nevermind, he's fine." She said, her heavenly laugh filling the air. "Oh, and I'm pretty demanding, but I don't expect someone who hasn't known me for more then a day to know this. And if you even tried to attack me, a creepy little kitty would kind of take over...yeah, he gets annoying." Minnowpaw meowed, Nightshade's dark chuckle filling her ears. "Shut up, you get annoying, you know." The apprentice whispered, her golden orbs lowing. Yeah, she knew she was going to the Dark Forest after she died, but at least her father would be there, maybe Shellpaw too. Oh well, maybe it would more fun the Starclan.

Whitepaw just watched Minnowpaw intently. He really had no idea what she was talking about but clearly something was messed up in her head. He just heard a voice and he just looked off in the direction the way the voice came from. He zoned out for a moment but when Minnowpaw said something about a cat taking over. He just turned back and looked at her his amber eyes serious. He knew that wasn't normal. He knew it wasn't normal for him to have a dark forest mentor but he does any way. He remembered how tough Nightfire was and he couldn't imagine her taking over his body no less. but the other thing was is that Whitepaw wasn't afraid of anything or anyone. Whitepaw just huffed and said, "I'm not afraid of that. If your trying to intimadate me now, you might as well give up now." Then he sat down and lifted up his white paw and started examining his claws, just because he usually check them every day to see if they needed to be sharpened. He just looked at her and then said, "Even if you claim that Shellpaw isn't a good fighter. If what you say is true about this cat taking over then you aren't actually doing the fighting either now are you Minnowpaw. So how can you say that your a good fighter when its not even you." Then the apprentice put down his paw and just smirked, "Please do explain Minnowpaw. I would love to heard your pity excuse. "

[Frost]

Minnowpaw gave a sweet, sickening smile, exposing her sharp fangs. "Well, Whitepaw, I was just warning you. I don't like to hurt my...friends." She meowed, cocking her head to the side and narrowing her eyes slightly. Yeah, Snowpaw wasn't really her friend, but maybe they could...work something out. He seemed like a mean, cold cat, and Minnowpaw like it. He didn't seem to social, and he was smart. Maybe they could become friends. Plus, her grandfather was a Dark forest cat, her father was too and he had kits with a Leafclanner. Who was she to not carry on the chain?

Giving a soft sigh, she opened her mouth, only to be interrupted by Nightshade talking to her. 'Oh, he's in the Dark forest too! Be his friend, my dear Minnowpaw.' She rolled her eyes, already planning to do as he said. "Nightshade is lazy. He only sleeps during the day, so he only takes over at night time. I know I'm good at fighting because I've fought  when he hasn't taken over." the midnight pelted she cat meowed in a innocent voice, as if she wasn't talking about a evil cat possessing her.

IC: Whitepaw looked at her smile and he just narrowed his eyes. Did she just really call him a friend. At this moment he was more curious about her than he usually would be. She seemed like a good ally, but maybe she was more than that. but right at this moment Whitepaw wanted allies in other clans, it just seemed like a good thing to have. He knew that one day that he might need information that could involve another clan so he might as well start now. Because when he was a warrior he would be more focused on standing out from all the other warriors, he wanted to become deputy and then leader. His name would be Whitestar one day. Nothing is getting in my way of that dream

Whitepaw had no idea that Minnowpaw was also in the dark forest. Also he didn't know that she knew that he was in the dark forest. He really didn't think that he would end up in the dark forest at this point but who knew what could happen in the future. When she gave a name to this cat that took over her body. His amber eyes seem to harden. He just snarled, "I am not your friend, yet. but maybe we could change that." Whitepaw winked at her. Then he just said simply, "If he sleeps during the day why did you just tell him that he was annoying."

Minnowpaw gave a huff. Honestly, she didn't know why he was awake right now. He just was. The dark pelted she-cat gave a small  shrug, getting to her paws.  'So this guy is in the dark forest too?' A gruff voice replied with a simple 'Yes, so be careful.' before allowing her to work her magic. "Well, I don't really know. Probably doing something dumb like training worthless apprentices who just die anyway. He isn't really your concern, though." She meowed with a small hiss, starting to circle around the brown furred apprentice, though she showed no sign wanting to attack the Leafclanner.  Slowly, Minnowpaw brought herself closer and took a spot next Whitepaw. 'Go on Minnowpaw, you worthless heap of trash.' Nightshade hissed, resulting in a soft laugh from Minnowpaw.

"Hey, Whitepaw, if this friendship between use is going to work out, we cant keep any secrets whatsoever. So, lets play a game. We both have to tell something about ourselves. No lying or you return home with a new scar, same rule for me." She meowed in creepy voice, her golden gaze narrowed. 'That's right, Whitepaw. Tell me, no us, all your secrets.'  She added silently, a small smirk coming into play. "You first. And don't make me have to rip you throat out. It would be a bad start to a long friendship, don't you think?" Minnowpaw said, referring to how they where both going to have to spend their afterlife in the same place.

Whitepaw just narrowed his eyes. It was his concern though, if he had to fight this cat. Whitepaw needed to know as much information about this cat as he could find out now from Minnowpaw. The large apprentice wanted to be prepared and smart about his fighting. He always wanted to know what he was up against and well with Minnowpaw he had no clue because of this cat, Nightshade. He just said simply, "but thats where your wrong Minnowpaw, this Nightshade I may end up battling now or in the future, so I need to know what I'm fighting against. So yes it is my concern because this cat acts with your claws and I personally think that pathetic. You should be able to fight on your own to win your own battles. but if he controls you I need to know everything that you are willing to give me because I can't see this cat with my own eyes." He went on with that whole speech when she was circling him. He didn't follow her at all and when she finally sat down he hit her with a hard amber gaze.

Whitepaw just listened to her and he just laughed. "Games are for kits Minnowpaw. Grow up a bit." Then he stood up and shook out his pelt. Then he listened to the second part and he just huffed. There was no way she was going to land a claw on him and there was no way he was just going to tell her everything. He wasn't afraid but then she, or Nightshade could use that as leverage on him. So he just circled around her then stopped right in front in her. He unsheathed his claws and got right into her face. His breath moved the whiskers on her face as he growled, "I know what your trying to do Nightshade, and I'm not mouse-brained like the apprentice your controlling here. You could have picked someone better." Then Whitepaw watched his own reflection in Minnowpaw's eyes, he could see his own fiery amber gaze starting right back a him.

Minnowpaw rolled her eyes, knowing Nightshade was about to though some stupid hissy fit that would somehow get her in trouble. Quickly siding out her claws, she gave a just as hard stare back to him.  "I'm sorry, but I think my mom is the one to tell me what to do. Thanks, but she doesn't need a babysitter. Also, Nightshade is my kin. He still controls my father and brother, though he likes to hang out with me more then those to losers. I'm just awesome like that." Minnowpaw reported, a rather bored look on her face as she shrugged her shoulders.   'Shut up you stupid hump of junk! I can take over whoever I want, but those three are my family and if you hurt them I will rip your face off and feed you to the dogs, don't you dare hurt my babies!' The small black cat couldn't take it anymore. She burst out laughing, falling over on her back and rolling around like a madman.  "Oh my gosh, Nightshade! What the heck? Where not your babies, dude! Oh my gosh this is so awesome! I'm so telling dad!" She laughed, a large smile on her face as she rolled around. 'Just shut up. You will always be my babies, even if your not kits anymore, Fishface.' Nightshade meowed, causing a hole new wave of laughter.

Whitepaw watched as Minnowpaw rolled her eyes and he just got away from her face. His amber gaze was watching her closely. He liked her, other than the fact that Nightshade was hanging around. He wanted to know Minnowpaw, not Nightshade, or Nightshade and Minnowpaw together. He just wanted to be friends with Minnowpaw. but there was no way he was going to get to know her with that fox dung cat in her head. He just narrowed his eyes at her next comment, Nightshade was her kin. That was interesting. Whitepaw just ingored that comment and just rolled his eyes. He just watched her next move and he was surprised when she just bursted out laughing. He just watched as she fell over and was rolling on the ground. He watched her and just she rolled around. He was slightly confused until she started talking about Nightshade. The apprentice just narrowed his eyes clearly he wasn't wanted by her. All she could pay attention to was Nightshade. He just growled and flattened his ears. She was still rolling around on the ground. He took this as an opportunity. He stopped her from rolling with his white paw. He had right on her chest and he was standing over. The sun from above probably casted a shadow over him so she could probably only see his amber eyes but her held her there quite loosely. So if she wanted to escape it would be quite easy and the tom would let her but he just looked down at her with a frown on his face. "Here's the deal Minnowpaw. I don't want to know Nightshade. I want to get to know you. There's a difference. Now if you want this friendship to work sweetheart you have put Nightshade in his nest like a good little kit, when you talk to me. Otherwise I don't think this going to workout." Then he let got off of her if she was still under him and he just started padding towards Sunsetclan he said looking over his shoulder, "Good day love. Oh, I'll give you a until the next gathering to decide what you want to do." Then he started padding towards Sunsetclan.
