Morningsky was back to her duties as a warrior and just as soon she now was responsible for an apprentice, the she cat had just now left the nursery with her own kits turning into apprentices the she cat could only hope that they would behave as she had told them to.

The white cat walked into the apprentice den looking for Redpaw and sure enough, he was still sleeping. "Wake up Redpaw, we have a long way to go." She said softly to the tom pawing his shoulder trying to wake him up.

Redpaw slept curled up, with his fluffy plume of a tail over his pale pink nose. but when Morningsky arrived and started nudging his shoulder he stirs slowly. His tail rising up off his face, and he lifts his head with a yawn. Blinking his golden amber eyes are met with the face of his new mentor Morningsky. Slightly off put by how close she was, he scoots back in his nest and licks his pelt a bit. " Umm morning." He says dipping his head, as he laps at his chest. " What... what are we doing today?" He asks his voice a little groggy with sleep still.

She chuckled softly with his sleepy face. "We are going on a tour, don't rush we have all day ahead of us, feel free to eat something if you want." The she cat smiled kindly before heading out to wait for her apprentice, he looked adorable that's for sure. Morningsky looked up seeing that it was indeed still pretty earlie but she wanted to have a lot of time to explore with him so it was better that way.

Redpaw nods his head at her words, watching her go in silence. He wasn't one for chit chatter, or over enthusiasm. Even though he was pleased at becoming an apprentice he had never been one to bounce around or ask a million questions. No Redpaw was more of a silent observer, carefully sucking up information like a sponge. Rising to his sturdy limbs the tom stretches once more, before exiting the den after his mentor.

The cave which made up Talonclan's camp, was rather dark and chilly as Redpaw made his way across it to the fresh kill pile. As he went he peeked out at the exit, noticing just how early it was. It didn't seem to bug him much though as he chose a sparrow to eat from the pile. Settling down a little ways from his mentor, on the cool cave floor, he eats his meal swiftly. Once finished he gives himself a final groom before rising back to his paws and padding to Morningsky's side. " I'm ready now." He says calmly, his golden amber gaze on hers. He had no expectations for this she-cat, he was accustomed to being ignored and half expected her to do the same to him. Why would she be any different?

Morningsky turned her blue gaze to him and smiled kindly. "Okay Redpaw let's get going then." The white cat started to lead the way outside the camp her paws silent when they finally met the forest floor that was so far from the cave entrance. "Would you like to start by somewhere specific? Or maybe you want to do something else today and leave the tour for later?" The she cat asked looking attentive at him her tail moving side to side patiently.

Blinking some the handsome red and white tabby tom follows after his mentor. When they reach the outside, Redpaw can feel a blast of chilly morning air. He takes a deep breath through his pale pink nose, his golden amber eyes surveying their rocky surroundings. Watching where he placed his sturdy paws he stared at the view of the slowly rising sun, it was a stunning sight to see. Suddenly he realizes that Morningsky is speaking with him and he perks his ears. " Um..." he says taken aback by her offer. Him choose where they went and what they did? He half gapes at her before he realizes he is doing so and closes his maw. " A tour of the territory is fine with me." He says his eyes on her blue ones. He continues to stare though unable to get over how much attention she was paying to him, for once in his life he was not invisible.

The female smiled gentle and nodded. "Let"s go then, first stop will be the warm pools, have you ever been there?" She asked quite curious eyes focusing on him and her whiskers moving up and down as she waited for a reply. "Tell me more about you Redpaw." Morningsky smiled softly.

Redpaw has to blink in order to tare his eyes away from his mentor. Stop staring! He thought annoyed with himself. His slightly tufted ears perk at her next words and he shakes his head. It was true most kits visited the pools with their mother's and siblings as kits. but his sibling Smallkit had always been too ill to go, and Redpaw's mother could never be bothered to take just him. " No this will be the first time." He says his golden amber eyes flicking back up to her as he spoke. There again she watched him with interest, curiosity not disinterest and indifference. It was like she cared! Nobody cares about me! He tells himself trying to lower his hopes. No one except Smallkit and she is dead. Pushing this painful thought away he hesitates at Morningsky's next words. What could he say? He had no friends, no siblings and parents that pretended he did not exist. Up until now he'd spent his life in Talonclan's camp being ignored by every cat in the whole place. A boring and depressing existence. " I well um..." he says as they walk along, his plume of a tail flicking back and forth. " There isn't much to tell..." He admits with a shrug, glancing away to hide how much that hurt him to say. Why couldn't he be like everybody else? Have a normal family that loved him and a living sibling?

The female purred lightly and slowed her steps to walk beside him. "Not much to tell is still something." Morningsky smiled gentle. "Would you feel better if I told you about myself first?" She asked not wanting to make him feel unconfortable in any way. "Also, I never took my kits to the warm pool too, they are so many and they fight so much between each other! I would never be able to get all of them to the pool and survive." The she cat laughed lightly turning her eyes to him.

Redpaw's eyes flicker back around to Morningsky's when she speaks, again flabbergasted by her words. It was like she truly wanted to know about him, boring old Redpaw the invisible tom. Blinking his golden amber eyes he just stares at a loss for words. Glad that she continues on, offering to talk about herself first. He nods his head a bit at the offer, realizing just how little he knew about the she-cat who walked beside him. Other than the fact she was a warrior and his mentor... he knew zip. Leaping up onto a bit of rocky ledge, as they climbed towards the warm pool, he listens to Morningsky mention having never gone to the warm pool with her own kits. He sort of twitches his whiskers a bit, a slight smile coming over his maw at her words. " I didn't know you had kits." He remarks, hoping his lack of humor wouldn't offend the she-cat. He just didn't really ever laugh. He had no reason to, so it was a foreign thing for the tom. There was a lot of things normal apprentices did that Redpaw didn't, something he knew would make him stand out from the others. but then again maybe standing out wouldn't be so bad, maybe he would finally be seen by others.

The she cat smiled. "Yeah I don´t actually walk around announcing it but Lionpaw atract enough trouble as he is, what I did wrong I still wonder..." Morningsky sighed but dimissed the feeling with a quick smile. "Coppermoon is also really busy and now we rarely spend time together, I miss him." The female admited her ears turning down for a moment. "but so is the life as warriors, not much we can do to change it." Blue eyes travelled across the place they had just reached admiring the warm pool. "Here we are, if you want to swimm a little don´t be afraid, it´s not really deep." She meowed gentle and sat down wraping her tail around her body. "Queens, kits, elders and warriors of duty normally come here to relax and spend time alone, it´s quite confortable as you see."

Redpaw follows along beside Morningsky listening to her speak about what he guessed was her kit and mate. It was sort of nice for him to hear a mother speak of her family, in a way that showed how much she really cared about them. He even envied it a bit, imagining what his life would of been like if Morningsky had been his mother instead. Who would he be today? He wondered. Probably a whole lot different than he was now, thats for sure. He thought as she continued on he couldn't help but feel a tinge of sympathy for the she-cat. Not being able to spend a lot of time with the cat she loved sounded hard. " If you ever need time to spend with him... you could always push off training me for a day." He finds himself saying his eyes not on hers but his words sincere. " I wouldn't mind really." He adds looking at her briefly then falling silent as they arrive at the warm pool.
Listening to her speak about the pool, he looks into he water and then back at her. He however doesn't make any move towards the water having no interest in swimming in the slightest. To be honest he found the idea rather scary not that he would admit to that. " Oh I'm good thanks." He says politely sitting down beside her. " I'll keep it in mind though." He adds, trying to sound a little interest.

She smile gentle and get up again motioning him to follow. "I thank you for thinking about me but I would never delay your trainning for something like this, but I really appreciate it." Morningsky meowed while guiding him a few steps ahead where the dead willow could be seen. "Here is the dead willow, kits like this place to make climbing competitions and these kind of things, I myself don´t think it´s interesting at all since with my warrior years I learned to climb trees much more difficult than this one" She said a amused look crossing her features for a few moments. "but if you are not good at climbing, is a good place to train." The she cat said turning blue eyes to her apprentice.

Redpaw is half surprised by her answer. Again she seemed to actually care for his well being, something he wasn't used to in the slightest. He nods a little blinking at her as she thanks him, " It really wouldn't be a problem." he says quietly as they moved on to the dead willow tree. Dropping the subject he listens attentively as she explains about the willow and how it was good for practice climbing. He eyes the tree momentarily before looking back to Morningsky. He liked climbing, perhaps it was apart of being a Talonclanner but he didn't find climbing to be all that difficult. No he really enjoyed it and found it to calm his mind. " I see." he says when she finishes feeling those blue eyes look not just at him but into him. Like she could somehow read his mind. Shaking the silly thought off he shrugs his broad shoulders a little. " I think I'll stick to climbing rock faces. Better challenge." He says, his long plume of a tail waving through the air as he speaks.

She chuckled softly. "I agree! but not everyone is born a natural climber so places like this are necessary." The she cat meowed gently and got up walking a little before looking back at him. "Now we will go to the abandoned lookout, it used to be a two legs place but the forest claimed it back long ago." The warrior waited for him to follow her before starting to walk again through the territory. "Now it's your turn, remember?" Morningsky purred softly lookinh at him.
