Is This Normal? (Birthing Thread, Tagged/Open)

(I've been neglecting this for far too long. This is the birthing thread of Clarice and Locke's kits. I hate roleplaying out the birth so I'm just going to say they've already been born and we're just naming them now. To be honest, I don't know what all of their names are, so Roselocke this is your cue. Falcon @lilykit @midnightruin Finch @leafwhisker Fernstripe)

Clarice had been in this den for so long now, but it had all been worth it. Eight kits. Eight tiny kits for her and Locke to call their own. Now to face the hard part. What to name them all. Maybe she should get Locke's help with that. The she-cat looked up at her mate quietly, "What should we name them? They all need proper names.

Locke stared at all the eight tiny kittens, squealing and wiggling around like like mice. With a soft, kind smile on his lips, he bent down and touched his nose to each kitten he was naming. First starting with the first born, he reached down and licked the top of the she-kit's head gently,"You are named Rock, for your great power and being the eldest of your siblings."He meowed proudly, his dark green eyes settled upon all of the kits with a look of pure kindness. They were all his, and they were all beautiful!

Next, he reached down to touch the second born, a she-kit with long white fur and long legs,"You shall be named Rabbit, for your long legs and your fast appearence." His deep voice was soft the entire time, his eyes gleaming with pride.

Reaching down to the third born, the first male of the kits,"You shall be named (BLANK)"

For the forth born, the second male of the litter to be born,"You shall be named (BLANK)"

His eyes settled upon a powerful, golden tom. Reaching down and licking the tom's head gently, he meowed proudly for all in the den to hear,"You shall be named Luce, for light, as your golden appearance and strong look.

The tiniest kit, who was squirming the most, was to be next. Reaching down to like the she-cat's tiny head, he meowed,"You shall be named Liza, for your beauty and future charm."

The next to last born kit was next, a frost colored female that was squirming quite a bit, like the rest of her siblings,"You shall be named Frost, for your frost colored pelt."

And the last kit was there. An average sized tom with long, golden fur and dark green eyes. Reaching down to lick the final kit's head,"You shall be named (BLANK)"

The tiny she-cat squirmed to her mother, attaching herself to the warm belly and savoring the sweet taste of her mother's milk. When she felt a look on her head and heard her name, she still didn't comprehend it till later."Liza is my name?" She thought, though that was one of many thoughts swimming through her head.

(I think Fern had to change her kits name from Frost to Dew... And maybe you should tag the people who go with each kit. Just in case they had to change names too.)

Clarice looked back down at the kits. "Those are good names. I like them." She murmured and wrapped her tail around the kits, pulling all eight closer.

Luce hurried toward the scent of milk his limbs barely trembling with the effort, he WAS strong and he was hungry so he wanted the milk his mother offered, settling against her belly he began to drink his fill dozing fitfully while he waited for his stomach to be content

(Deku was right, I had to change my kit's name. Sorry that I forgot to mention it in the adoptive thread!)

Dew wriggled unhappily. Why was it so cold? It had been warm just a moment ago... What was happening? Her tail brushed against something soft, and... warm! Dew pushed herself urgently toward this new discovery. When she got to it, she automatically started to knead the warm substance with her front paws.

Archie wriggled round,kicking at his siblings and heading for the milk,he followed the sweet scent and snuggled into his mother warm side while nursing,he kicked at Luce,annoyed with his antics. but went back to nursing,although he missed the never ending warmth and comfort the cold air was refreshing
