Firefang strutted through the Talonclan territory, her ears perked and head and tail held high, a proud smirk on her face. Her elegant movements were prepared for anything as she bounded through the rocky terrain, her amber eyes narrowed.

Lionpaw was relaxing his sore paws, laying near a stream with his front paws resting in it his eyes closed

Firefang passed right by a stream, when she noticed who was laying at the edge. Lionpaw.'Oh great, this again.' she thought, a slight unhappy loss of her inflated joyful arua. With a flick of her long feathery tail,"Grrr, you again." She meowed almost excitedly, a hint of playfulness in her voice. Lionpaw did add some zest to her life.

Lionpaw didn't really respond, meerly letting out a grunt at her words not opening his eye

"'Grunt' to you too, Lionpaw." She meowed these words simply with a shrug of her shoulders, right before she caught a whiff of a juicy, mouth-watering mouse. A small smile on her lips, she leaped forward, and prepared to catch the little mongrel of food, and she was only able to catch leaves. Cursing under her breath, she didn;t turn back to Lionpaw, because she knew that he would just make fun of her.

"Good try, he was a quick thing" Lionpaw pulled one foot out of the water and shook it, blood and water flashing through the air for a moment

Firefang had been expecting an insult, so she was extremely shocked when he actually kind of complemented her,"Thanks. He was surprisingly fast for a fat mouse." She meowed humorously, taking great notice to the blood that flew off Lionpaw's paw."Lionpaw, are you bleeding?" She meowed, concern instantly breaching her cool voice and hard eyes as she padded over to stand next to him.

"Just tore a claw, nothing serious" Lionpaw says with a shrug, he was used to getting hurt cause of his night time training after all

"Okay..." She meowed, thought there was a hint of "Yeah, sure" In her voice. She walked over to stand next to him with her own bright amber eyes set upon the apprentice, thought there was even a hint of concern in the depths of bright amber. With a flick of her tail, she laid down next to the tom, laying her head on her paws.

Lionpaw still doesn't open his eyes "do you know how to swim? Mudpaw taught me how a while back"

"I kind of do, but I have never been good at it at all." She meowed, her eyes set into the stream as she reached over to dab her paw into the cool water. With a twitch of her tufted ears, she glanced around at the area around the two cats.

Mudpaw is half Stormclan so he's a pretty good teacher to learn from, he's going to be a warrior soon too"

"Hm, maybe I'll ask him sometime." She meowed softly, before rubbed her paw against her maw, her amber eyes staring into the stream."Does swimming feel good?" Firefang could not help but ask, her piercing eyes now set upon Lionpaw. Her long fur was now brushing against Lionpaw, though she just barely noticed.

"It's not bad, kind of like running the current of the water is sort of like the wind running through your fur if you think about it"

"That sounds amazing, Lionpaw." She meowed, her eyes drifting off to imagine cool, wet running through her long, red fur. With a dreamy flick of her long, feathery tail, she glanced over at Lionpaw with her shining amber eyes,"Can you teach me? How to swim, that is?" She asked curiously, a excited gleam in her eyes.
