The young warrior stared at her reflection in the small puddle in front of her, trying not to panic over the new news she had heard. Hear about herself. She closed her eyes slowly before taking a deep breath and standing. The calico-tabby moved away from the water, the faint reflection of white, gray and ginger tabby markigns disappearing as she turned to go look for Crowtail. It was now or never to tell him. She looked around, asking around a bit before someone informed her they thought they'd seen him go into the warriors den a few minutes ago. Hailsong took off, crossing the clearing to the warrior den before looking inside, "Crowtail?" She called. Still no Crowtail. Where on earth was he . . . He . . . he had to know. He needed to know . . . they were having kits.

Crowtail had just left Ratstar den after their conversation with Kirsty, the young kitty- ops, not a kittypet anymore, the young cat was all happy with joining the clan and he too was quite ancious to see what kind of warrior she was going to become in the days to come, he noticed then a very distressed Hailsong near the warrior den looking around for something, he walked to her side worry clouding the shiny yellow eyes. "Are you alright dear?" he asked softly from behind her, she was so distracted that didn´t noticed his aproach.

The sound of a sudden voice from nowhere alarmed her, the usually gentle, and composed cat actually jumping before her mind worked rapid fire, recognizing the voice, putting it to the black face, turning and meeting his yellow eyes with her green (or mostly green). A faint smile touched her muzzle at seeing him there, and she briefly brushed her cheek against his neck, "I was looking for you . . ." She responded, flicking her small bob of a tail as she took a step back, "Let's go on a walk . . . we, we need to talk, Crowtail. And I'd rather do it in private."

The black tom nodded and let her lead the way to wherever she wanted to go, his whiskers moved curious and his eyes scanned the ambient around them constantly. "Is something wrong Hailsong? You look nervous." He meowed worried that she could be sick or perhpas someone she knew was in trouble, or she had fall in love with an outside tom... No, she wouldn´t have called him in that case, the cold weather was very pleasant to him but he knew that soon enough cats that had less fur than him would suffer with the snow and he was already worried for his mate.

The female's gaze was soft when the male nodded to her request, and she motioned for him to follow her with a jerk of her head, smiling softly when he asked if something was wrong, hearing the worry in his voice. Her small bob of a tail flicked lightly before she gently shook her head, "Everything's fine, really . . . I just . . . have some news, and didn't want anyone else to over hear." She mumbled softly, deciding they were far enough away and sitting down, tilting her head to look at the male near her, motion for him to sit down as well, "I'm . . . . I'm going to be moving into the nursery here soon . . . Crowtail, I'm expecting kits . . . your kits." The she-cat said softly, looking up at him with a small smile, waiting for his reaction, "We're going to have kits."

He was schoked for a few moments as he processed the news, she was pregnant, he was going to be a father, the tom purred loudly and approached the smaller female nuzzling her and licking her neck affectionaly. "That's wonderful new Hailsong! You just made me the happiest cat of the world." The male meowed his voice full of emotions, he wanted to scream to everyone just how luck he was and how he had the most wonderful mate any cat could ever wish for. "I don't even know, we need to think about names!" He said happily eyes shinning and a thousand thoughs running through his head.

The female began to grow a little concerned with his silence, his stunned silence. What if he wasn't as happy as she was about the news. What if he didn't want kits? What if he got angry for her being pregnant. What if. What if. What if. Hailsong was no pessimist, but she did feel the distinct touch of concern, and she also felt it melt away when he began to purr loudly, moving towards her before nuzzling her, his tongue darting across the fur of her neck in an affectionate manner. She couldn't help but smile when he did speak, purring softly and rubbing her cheek against his shoulder, her tail flicking softly in a bobbiing motion, "I can hardly believe it's true." She purred softly before looking up at him when he mentioned names, laughing softly, "We have plenty of time to think about that." She responded gently, laughing, "We won't even know genders, or how many until they're born." She reminded playfully.

The black tom pouted moving his whiskers. "Okay you are right, when you will be moving to the nursery? I will miss having you with me in the warriors den." Crowtail said nuzzling her softly. "I hope we will have a lot of kits, I know we are near leaf-bare and things can get... Complicated, but with some luck everything will be alright." The large tom purred meaning to confort her and be reassuring. "Also, have you talked with (medine cat that I forgot the name)?" He asked a little more serious bow.

The she-cat smiled softly, licking his fur gently "Not until I'm a little further along. You'll have a few more days with me still." She teased gently, returning her nuzzle before smiling softly, "I'm sure they'll be okay. It's not leaf-bare yet and I'll make sure they'll all be okay." She purred reassuringly to him, before nodding, her gaze soft at the serious tone he adapted, "Uhm, maybe . . . . not yet. You're the first I've spoken to about it. I didn't want anyone to know before you did."
