Firekit padded out of the nursery intending to find someone to play with when he saw Sandstripe, Aspenpool's mate, now he didn't think that Sandstripe liked him that much but Aspenpool seemed to think that Firekit just needed to spend more time with Sandstripe and try to help the warrior get to know him better, Firekit figured now was as good a time as any so he put on a brave face and bound over quickly a smile on his face "Hey Sandstripe!" he called when he was within earshot Clemintine

Sandstripe ear twitched at an annoying high pitched squeal that was directed towards him, his eyes glared straight ahead and seemed to be shadowed with hate. The large sand colored tom turned her his very slowly only to see the annoying bundle of spit standing before him. Hi bared his fangs in a deep rumbly hiss and spoke his words slowly so the kit would understand "Listen you little Flea, my mate my have taken you in but don't go thinking you and I can just be freindsss" he hissed the words out showing his dominance and annoyance towards the pathetic kit.

Firekit tilted his head at the hissed tone but he was determined, for his sake and Aspenpool's to bond with the grumpy tom "aww come on Sandstripe, I'm not a flea I'm a cat just like you, and I'm sure that Aspenpool would like it if we tried to get to know each other at least" he knew that Sandstripe cared deeply for Aspenpool and he knew that she really WOULD like it, even if he was just using her to try and weaken the tom's resolve to hate him for no clear reason
