The black she-cat spread lazily in the clearing, staring at the exit with intense curiousity. Yet. She. Was. Stuck. In. Here. This entire time she would have to wait for Crowtail to come back from his patrol before she could even set foot out of the camp, at least for a little while, while Ratstar was making sure she was trust worthy. A flick of her tail, the tiny she-cat's dark blue eyes were narrowed in boredom as a head lay upon her dainty paws. Maybe another apprentice or some other cat would come up to her, and maybe just talk to her, yet she kind of doubted it. She was a bit wierd, with being all black, yet she had her dark blue eyes. Her ears twitching, she glanced around, stretching her limbs as she pushed herself up.

Flamepaw walked into camp he had snuck out of camp earlies still in a bad mood that Riverecho was a warrior and he wasn't. 'We became apprentices at the same time,' he thought a little irritated that the cat who had been his kithood friend but had become his rival had been made a warrior before him. He headed for the apprentice den but halted when he saw one of his den mates laying in the clearing. Frowning he walked over to her. He vaguely knew her but because he hadn't really ever talked to her he couldn't place a name to her appearance. "Hey," he meowed her tried to not be as blunt as he was when speaking to other cats because he was kind of curious about her.

Noticing a...handsome tom walk into camp, Kirsty instantly took action. Giving her black fur a quick lick, she was shocked when he actually came over to her and spoke."H-hey. I-I'm Kirsty." She meowed, her voice shaking slightly as she waited for his response. With a quick scan of his body with her blue eyes, she almost swooned with how good-looking he was, and how he was actaully talking to her, a newbie to the clan, and a tiny kittypet at that.

Flamepaw listened to her intently and heard her mention to him what her name was. He suddenly remembered her as the kittypet who had come into the clan. He was surprised that she was a kittypet though because to him she was a pretty cat and suddenly he felt bad for all the things he had said to Riverecho taunting him because his father had once been a kittypet. 'I can't take it back now, but I can try and become friends with Kirsty and make up for the mistakes I made,' he thought realizing that he still hadn't introduced himself yet. "Flamepaw," he meowed dipping his head to the other apprentice.

Kirsty smiled softly as he mentioned his name, her dark blue gaze meeting his,"N-Nice to meet you." She stuttered slightly at the beginning, quite flustered as she stood before him."So...How is it like training to be an apprentice, F-Firepaw." She asked with a tilt of her head, and a eyebrow raised in question. Her small, dainty white paws kneaded the ground as she awaited his response, slowly becoming a bit more comfortable around her first apprentice friend in Sunsetclan.

Flamepaw pricked his ears when the she-cat asked how his training was going and he let out a sigh the tip of his tail twitching. "It's going fine I guess, I'm just annoyed that Riverecho was made a warrior before I was we were apprenticed at the same time," he meowed. "Maybe Ratstar doesn't even think I'll make a good warrior," he meowed his thoughts going to his father. "Maybe she thinks I'll be like my father," he meowed and shook his head. "How is apprentice training going for you?" he asked her watching her closely wanting to know if she was doing well.

"I-I bet your make a fine warrior, but maybe you just n-need to do a but more training." She meowed with a flick of her black tail, and then she rose her tiny white paw, brushing it against her maw. Thinking for a moment, she wondered what her name would be when she officially joined the clan, since she did not really want to keep her name, at least at the moment."Oh...I have not started it yet..." She stared down at her paws, slightly embarresed since she has not even officially joined the clan.

"Thanks for saying that, I hope your right. I hardly ever see my mentor so usually I teach myself or tag along with another mentor an apprentice," Flamepaw meowed the tip of his tail twitching back and forth as he thought of how his mentor didn't seem to care if he got training or not. When he heard that Kirsty hadn't started her training yet she frowned. "Why hasn't Ratstar given you a mentor?" he wondered staring at her.

"W-well, I have not...officially...joined the clan yet." Her voice was quiet and embarresed as she was still being tested to make sure she was trusted. With a twitch of her tail, she kneaded the ground, her dark blue eyes set upon her pure white paws.

Flamepaw listened to everything that she had to say and frowned the tip of his tail twitching back and forth. He didn't understand why Ratstar was hesitating to accept her into the clan. "I think Ratstar needs to just accept you to the clan? Have you spoken to her yet?" he asked her. He was aware that Ratstar could be a little suspicious towards cats who hadn't been born in one of the clans joining the clan. He also new she could be the same way towards cats from other clans joining Sunsetclan and he didn't understand her reasoning for that.

Kirsty nodded curtly, her dark blue eyes trained upon the tom with a small side ways look upon her mouth."I get why she has not let me in the clan yet, but until I am accepted, I am not even allowed to leave the camp with out a warrior with me." With a soft huff of air, the she-cat settled down, bringing her tiny white paws to rub against her face and blue eyes. Stretching her muscles, she returned her gaze to the fiery tom. He is quite handsome... The thought unsettled her, as she never thought such things. She was just a simple she-cat, for Starclan's sake!
