Honeysuckle had not been in the clan for long. She had been born a rogue but Pebblestar had accepted her into the clan and for that she was grateful. The only thing she could remember at the moment was her name and she wasn't sure how a cat like her would get on in the world. She let out a sigh and looked around her gaze drifting over to the fresh kill pile. She still wasn't comfortable with eating prey when she had done nothing to put prey in the pile but she was still recovering from her past life well whatever her past life had been.

She had come to the camp all banged up but she still could not remember how she had gotten to looking so bad when she had first joined the clan. She did remember waking up on a cliff but besides that and her name she could remember nothing of her past. 'I wonder what my past was like,' she thought feeling a strong sense of longing to find out about her past but deep down inside she knew that she may never remember her past. 'She sighed and got to her paws deciding to get something from the fresh kill pile since she was hungry. One thing she had figured out since coming here was her age. She had been able to figure out that she was ten moons old but that was the only thing she had been able to figure out about her past.

She let out another sigh and headed towards the fresh kill pile. Since it was leafbare the fresh kill pile was low but she knew that she had to eat something to keep her strength up. Looking through the fresh kill pile she finally decided on a sparrow and took it from the fresh kill pile hoping that no one would ask he why she was taking something from the fresh kill pile without doing something for the clan first. She had no idea how many cats knew of her arrival in the clan but she did not want to lie to her new clan so she would tell them that she was kind of new to the clan and that she had been told to rest.

She was a little tired of resting though and wanted to actually do something for her clan. 'Maybe I should ask the deputy or something when I get the chance,' she thought. 'I don't want to be treated like a helpless kit just because I forgot my past,' she thought heading over to her original spot next to the apprentice den. She put the sparrow down and began to pluck off all the feathers so that she could eat it. While she got all the feathers off her sparrow she thought back to when she had first arrived in the camp. She supposed it had been about half a moon ago that she had arrived in the camp and she was still getting use to being around so many cats.

'I wonder if I was ever around other cats. If I was I wonder if they miss me,' Honeysuckle thought frowning. She often found herself wondering about family. She saw a lot of families in the clan and if often made her wonder if she had a family of her own. 'I probably did but I can't remember them,' she thought no longer really hungry but she knew that she should at least eat something so she forced herself to take a bite of the now featherless bird and to chew and swallow the piece of meat she had in her mouth.

Rainleaf had just came back from a walk alone in the forest. He had wondered most of his walk if anyone liked him. He had been wishing for someone to come up to him and say something. All he was ever told was do this do that. Never good job or great work. He padded over to the fresh kill pile and picked a mouse he had sat down to eat and notice honeysuckle sitting alone looking unhappy and worried. He always love to cheer cats up so he padded over to her and thought he should ask her to go for a walk with him. He stopped in front of her and waited for her to notice him so he could ask her.

Honeysuckle was still thinking over her arrival in the clan when she noticed Rainleaf standing before her. She was startled because she had been to lost in her own thoughts to notice the tom approach her. She blinked and looked up at Rainleaf wondering what he wanted. She had yet to meet this tom and she knew it probably wouldn't be hard for this tom to figure out that she was a newer clan mate. She was sleeping in the apprentice den now but this was really the first time that she had decided to just sit in the clearing. Because it was leafbare it was cold outside but she wasn't really one to complain about the cold and had just wanted to sit outside for awhile.

"Hello? Did you need something?" she asked rising to a sitting position. She looked down at her half eaten sparrow and realized that she would have to finish the bird. She wasn't one to waste prey especially not during the cold moons of leafbare. She thought it was rude to eat while talking though so right now she was ignoring her half eaten sparrow. Her eyes were still fixed on the tom who had approached her wondering what he could want with her. She knew very few cats of the clan and she was a bit worried about what other cats would think of her once they found out she hadn't been born in the clan or that she had no memory of her past life. 'I wish I could remember my past,' she thought the tip of her tail twitching back and forth.

The she-cat usually wore an emotionless mask but she had let her guard down when she had been thinking so her emotions were coming through. With the way she thought she had always thought that emotions were a weakness so she usually didn't show them. It was rare for her to show emotions but when she did she was easy to read.

ooc: Its fine. My muse most of the time is like a roller coaster and I had more free time yesterday.

Rainleaf looked at honeysuckle and said do you want to go for a walk? He looked at her hoping that his emotion were not spilling out of him. Rainleaf thought she is going to say no just like everyone else. He wanted to walk away because of his nervousness but made himself plant his paws to the ground. He waited for a answer very nervously.

Honeysuckle looked at Rainleaf hearing his question and she looked surprised. "Oh, sure," she meowed her gaze fixed on the older cat as she got to her paws. She wasn't sure how old this cat was but he didn't see to old to her maybe twice her age but not the age of a lot of the cats she had met. "You'll have to lead the way, I don't really know my way around the territory," she admitted waiting for him to lead the way.


ooc: yeah...can you put double quotes around what your cat says? It makes it easier for the reader to see the dialogue between the characters that way.

Rainleaf almost jump out of his pelt he was so surprised. Rainleaf thought for a moment and then said," let's go to the dead willow". He looked at her and felt like he was going to melt but he shook that thought away and said," just follow me I sure your going to like it". He started padding towards the exit and looked back just to make sure she was following.

ooc: sorry about that.

"Okay," Honeysuckle meowed following the other tom. She had never been to the dead willow but she had heard some cats talking about it. Apparently it was some land mark but she knew that there were other land marks aside from the dead willow just from listening to the talk of her new clan mates. She hadn't really had a chance to see any part of the territory when she had been coming here so she was glad that he was taking her to a landmark.

he padded out of the camp looked back at honeysuckle every so often. He thought he should start a conversation so he said," you should know that my name is rainleaf and I am 20 moons old". He stopped hoping that she would tell him a little about her. He looked up ahead and saw they were getting close to the dead tree but he did not want to tell her yet. He was afraid that might stop her from talking to him.

Honaysuckle followed closely behind Rainleaf looking around at the scenery as they walked. When she had been in the territory right before she had joined, she hadn't been able to enjoy the scenery. She turned her attention back to the tom as he spoke an blinked. "My name is Honeysuckle and I think I'm ten moons old," she meowed as she continued to follow him.

Rainleaf padded forward and said," here we are the dead tree... isn't beautiful". He sat down and then looked at honeysuckle and asked," why do you THINK you are ten moons old and not exactly sure"? He waited for the answer very tensely. He looked at her and said," if you don't want to tell me thats ok".

[Sand]

Honeysuckle sat down next to the tom here gaze fixed on the dead willow. "Yeah, its great its good to just be out of camp," she meowed with a purr. She turned her attention back to him when he asked her why she only thought she was ten moons old and she frowned trying to decide if she should tell him or not. "Can you promise me if I tell you that you won't treat me differently or think different of me?" she asked.

[Vinepool]

Rainleaf looked at honeysuckle and said,"I promise will not treat you any differently then I am right now". He waited for a reposes very eagerly. He had really enjoy the walk for some reason. He had taken many walks before but this one was the best one he had taken in his whole life.

[Sand]

Homeysuckle listened to what Rainleaf had to say and smiled before nodding. "Thank you, I'll tell you now," she meowed. "As you probably know I wasn't born in Talonclan but that's the thing. I might not have been born in Talonclan but Talonclan is all I know. I don't really remember my past. I woke up about a half a moon ago on the edge of a cliff but the only thing I could remember was my name. That is why I said I think I am ten moons old. I feel like I'm that old but I'm not entirely sure if that is how old I am," she meowed.

[Vinepool]

Rainleaf said,"oh I am sorry about that and thanks for telling me". Rainleaf looked at the sun and saw it was setting. He looked over at honeysuckle and said,"we should be heading back to camp now and when we get back do you want to share prey". After rainleaf said that he wanted to take it back because he was nevreous that ask to much.

[Sand]

Honeysuckle listened to what Rainleaf had to say and smiled. "Its fine, I guess a lost memory isn't really that bad and thanks for listening," she meowed curling her tail over her paws. When she heard the older tom she blinked realizing that the sun was starting to go down. "Yeah, that sounds great, we could share something to eat," she meowed dipping her head to him.
