Ask Willowbranch! (Open, especially to NEW MEMBERS!)

The sun was high in the sky as Willowbranch padded into the Nursery, ready for a heap of questions from enthusiastic young cats. Earlier in the day, she popped her head into the Apprentices' Den and spoke gently; "I'll be in the Nursery at sunhigh, if you want to ask any questions about being a warrior or a deputy."  She was hoping that some of the apprentices would come to the Nursery, too, but there would obviously be more kits.
Making her way into the Nursery, she settled in an unoccupied corner, watching the little kits play. "Hello there! Would you like to ask me some questions about being the deputy?" she purred in a motherly tone, toward a group of playing kits. She smiled and softened her eyes, lying down.

[Wolf]

Wolfkit spun around as he heard the voice of the LeafClan deputy enter the nursery. His amber eyes lit up with excitement and he raced over to sit near her paws. "Is it hard? Do cats listen to you? When will you be leader?" He began to shoot off question after question, somehow expecting the she-cat to answer all of them at once. His eager fluffy body was quivering with energy. He was one of the youngest kits in the nursery but that didn't stunt his energetic personality.

The moment the deputy hd stuck her head into the apprentice den, the older apprentice had locked his eyes onto his next targer, er no. wrong word. Victim, no, no, no . . . conquest. Yes, now that was a nice word. Conquest. He immediately stood, ignoring some of the sighs of annoyance when a few of the older apprentices saw the look on his face - a look many knew quite well. He immediately trotted over to the nursery, slipping in and laying down, silent for a moment as he prentended to be there to listen to the kittens, to watch them, all the while his deep green gaze was on the female. The 12 moon old - almost 13 moons now, tom had his attention on one thing, and now he just had to work out a plan to make it happen . . . . . . . Hellloooooo, nurse.

Willowbranch smiled gently at little Wolfkit. Yes! At least one kitten had come. She opened her mouth to say hello, but instead was greeted with a flurry of questions. "Okay, slow down Wolfkit!" she chuckled. "Let's see... It is quite hard, it's a lot of work. but it's really fun. You get to make lots of friends... Cats do listen to you, but some of the bad guys don't. That's no fun! And I'll be leader when Sunstar goes to StarClan. I hope that isn't soon, I like Sunstar." she purred, her gaze drifting to a blue-grey tom who was watching her intently. "Oh, hey. What's your name? Do you have any questions?" she mewed, smiling, and tucking her paws in under her chest.

The apprentice grinned as attention was drawn to him, slowly sitting up and flicking his tail easily, "Duskpaw" He responded before smirking, "Any questions?" He moved a little closer, walking towards her and tilting his head with an easy smirk, "What age do you consider is the best time for an apprentice to become a warrior? I'm almost 13 moons, for example," The tom stated, grinning, "That's close enough to a warrior right? So why don't we ditch the brats and go for some . . . . alone time. I'd like to get to know you a bit more . . . intimately . . . ." He purred, green eyes flashing in the way that made many a female apprentices swoon, his grin alluring but gentle.

Charming.
"Hm, I'll ask Sunstar about you becoming a warrior. That's a good age indeed." she purred, giggling quietly at his desire to be a warrior.
Oh.
"Well, uh, today is my day with the kits to tell them about being deputy. Maybe another day, Duskpaw." She smiled mischieviously, and looked away for a little while. This was so unprofessional of her, but she found him hilarious. "Yeah, maybe another day. Any.. er, any other questions?" she mewed, putting herself at risk from the tom.

[Wolf]

Wolfkit's eyes lit up as Willowbranch answered all his questions, his pale grey tail waving as his body quivered with excitement. When Duskpaw entered, the young kit's amber gaze darted to him and back to the she-cat as he watched their exchange. He cocked his head to the side in confusion when Willowbranch seemed to be flustered by the tom. Why do cats do that with each other? He wondered silently.
When Duskpaw suggested that they leave, Wolfkit let out a squeak of protest. "She can't leave no-" though he stopped when he heard the deputy decline the offer, relaxing a little and bouncing up and down in front of her.

hmmm, well that wasn't quite what he was going for, but Duskpaw would be more than happy to take the chance to become a warrior, before he smirked at her, eyeing the mischievous smile, "Another day? Tomorrow then." He purred before promptly laying down next to her, his tail brushing against hers as he lay his muzzle upon his paws innocently, smirking against the thick soft fur of his paws, his gaze cutting towards the kit in front of them, grinning, "She's all yorus for today kid. And mine tomorrow." He assured the tom, flicking his tail against her side, innocently looking away, this time. New conquest, thy name is conquered.

This wasn't quite what she was expecting during this Q and A, but truly Willowbranch had no objections. This was hilarious, and she liked him.
Wait, what?
He's an apprentice. Okay, I like him, but I don't... I don't "like like" him. she assured herself. 
"Another day? Tomorrow then." purred Duskpaw. She laughed. "Okay, okay, Duskpaw. Tomorrow, if it makes you happy."
Though, deep inside, she felt that it would probably make her happy as well. Duskpaw's tail brushed against hers, and she smiled at him, albeit nervously.
This was escalating quickly. 
She pawed at the ground. "Uh, Wolfkit? Do you have any more questions?" she purred. Duskpaw flicked his tail against her, and so she looked his way. "Now, now, Duskpaw." she giggled, flicking his side, with her tail, and looking away to Wolfkit.

The average sized Abyssian tom heard a conversation being started as he lay curled in a small bed of moss, taking his usual afternoon nap, which always made him feel better. Should I go over there...Sure... The sharp yellow eyes of the tom opened to the bright sun-light, before picking himself up. With a simple stretch of his stiff muscles, he padded over to the warrior almost shyly, before speaking in his small voice,"H-Hey Willowbranch, how did you become deputy?" The soft voice echoed through the air as Alderkit stared up to her with his yellow eyes and twitching nose.

An Abyssinian kitten made his way towards Willowbranch. "Sorry Wolfkit, you asked a question already. You can ask another one after... Hello there, what's your names?" she purred. She was enjoying her day thoroughly, what with Duskpaw being a charmer, and the cute little kits of the Nursery.
"Hey Willowbranch, how did you become deputy?" asked the little kit, almost too quietly for Willowbranch to hear, but she did. "Well, I worked hard as an apprentice, and I did all the things I was asked, and when I became a warrior I worked really hard, and Sunstar liked that I worked really hard." she explained, softly, trying not to seem scary to the tiny kit. She extended her paw, out from under her chest to point at him. "You could even be the deputy, if you worked really hard."

Ashkit woke up and saw the deputy in the nursery. //Wow!// she thought. //Shes answering questions? I better go ask one! Wait, what if she doesnt like me? What if I ask too many questions?// She slowly crept over to Willowbranch. "Hello?" she mewed. "Can I ask a question?" //Please say yes!//

Wolfkit shifted restlessly. He wanted to ask another question, no, he had a thousand more questions! And what better cat to ask than the deputy-the most respected warrior in the whole clan, save for Sunstar of course. He forced himself to settle down, and listen to the other kits, maybe they would actually ask something useful...maybe. He got to his paws and padded over to sit by the other kits so he could hear them better. He looked at Ashkit
"Hey, you should speak up, if you're not careful someone will talk over you" He mewed, giving a brief smile and then turning his attention back to Willowbranch
