The lean female curled up with closed eyes as she slept peacefully her tail flicking occassionally to tap her nose and wake her faintly before she'd fall back to sleep, her side heaving softly, the side that was starting to show an increased size. She didn't know if Rizen fully knew yet, if he even suspected the truth - that she was pregnant, but she was currently resting up for that talk. Her tail flicked her nose again and with another wrinkle she finally sat up, looking around for the black tom who rarely) and she truly meant rarely left her side. The snow was falling, and the sleek, feathery fur of the sorrel cat was hardly warm enough to keep her warm. Where was Rizen to snuggle into. Luckily her napping location was beneath interlocking, low branches of a small pit beneath a few bushes, and had kept the snow out, keeping the female relatively warm. but she'd need a proper den before the little ones are born. Fully isolated and away from the weather. Warm and cozy. She needed to tell Rizen about them. Slowly slipping out, her yellow-green eyes flickered around, "Rizen?" She called, "We need to talk, please . . . ." She meowed softly, shivering as she sat to wait.

Soft white specks fell upon the large tom's night black pelt, making his pelt look like the it was a part of the night sky itself. Sharp, bright golden amber eyes glaring into the darkness, he moved forward, returning from the home where he lived to the mate he missed so very dearly. Even though he knew he had to return to camp much of the time at night to make sure his leader was not suspicious, all night Rizen would miss Sorrel so much, as his love for her grew every single day.

Soon returning to where she always slept, he smiled as he heard her voice, trotting up to her with an affectionate lick to her forehead,"How was your sleep, love?" With a gentle voice, he nuzzled her with pure happiness, a glimmer in his bright eyes of his.

She purred softly, leaning into him as she gently closed her eyes, relaxing softly, "Uhm, Rizen . . .. we need to talk." She meowed softly, pulling away and turning to look at him, quiet for a moment as she lowered her gaze softly, "Rizen . . . " She looked up at him, a tiny smile on her face, "Rizen, I'm expecting kittens . . . our kittens." There. she said it. It was out in the open. Her gaze lifted to him, nervous, hopeful, waiting . . . for his reaction.
