Life was not going well for Silverfrost. Infact, she was raging mad. She'd been told she had to move to the nursery earlier that day and . . . . was . . . . less than thrilled with the change. She was now forcefully pacing the back of the nursery den with no care for the precious bundles of life developing in her belly, her sides heavy with the four kits who were due in just a matter of days. Four kits she didn't want. Four kits who were ruining her life. Four kits that were messing everything up. "I'm a warrior! Not some queen about to fall over in kitting any moment! I want to hunt, to run! This is so stupid. If I ever see whats-his-face again, he'll regret knocking me up." She growled low beneath her voice, her glare hot and dark. She was not happy. Not one bit. She was pissed . . . . . A warrior. Not a queen. She was a warrior. And she was trapped here for the next six or seven moons. And she was pissed.

Duskcloud enetred the den, limping, like usually. She heard Silverfrost's rantings and frowned. Feel lucky you have a choice, Silverfrost. Feel lucky you don't have to stay this way for your whole life. Duskcloud resented being a queen as well. Her mother had told her things about how queens were respected, but she of course was not. Pushed aside like crow-food, her life was turning out to be horrible. Silverfrost, just don't feel bad. You're beter off than me! With a tom that actually loves you! Her mate had abandoned her like she was mouse-dung when she became injured. She thoroughly beleived Slverfrost should feel lucky.
