Hazelbreeze sat quietly just a ways away from the camp entrance, her tail coiled lightly atop the foilage, her paw drawn up to her muzzle, as the pale tongue darted out, dampening the fur before it was pushed against her forehead, her cheeks, cleaning the soft, medium-length fur of the fawn and ivory female. Her dappled pelt was dappled further as sun streamed through the freshly budded leaves of the trees ahead.

Oh how she enjoyed winter, but nothing beat newleaf, hte sight of the world coming back again, fighting against the cold chills that threatened to keep it dormant, pushing forward with new life, a new life that would prove to be victorious! Soon the entire world will fill with fresh grass, renewed vegetation, an abundance of flowers and leaves. Beautiful.

Hazelbreeze stood, slowly stretching out, her long tail coiling slightly as her ears perked, the female glancing around before heading off a bit ways away, mouth parting to do some hunting. The new vegetation meant new prey life which meant a good hunt would be well worth it - especially if it meant bringing back prey for those who needed it. She smiled to herself, before scenting a small rodent and began to stalk forward - leaping at the exact same moment as another cat.

Pricklepaw was, as usual, having a bad day. Or at least she thought she was. Having been bullied again by a gaggle of snickering apprentices younger than her, she gave up arguing and went out hunting, to clear her head. It wasn't her fault that her pelt stuck up like a porcupine with a bad hair day. The fact that she looked like a dalmatian also wasn't her fault. And yet still, those ridiculous clan cats picked on her about it.

The apprentice made a mental note to collect a few worms later in the day, she was sure her younger clanmates would appreciate more bedding for the night. Frowning, she turned her attention back to hunting. A plump looking shrew had yet to notice her, even though her white and black fur pretty much screamed 'you better start running!'. Placing her feet expertly through the foliage, the feline failed to notice the presence of another, until she leaped.

Bracing herself for impact, she swiftly made a note to just go and practice battle training next time she was mad.
