"Hey, there you are."
Go away...
"What are you doing out here anyway? You know you have your first lesson today."
I'm not stupid of course I know that.
"So... you're just gonna sit there with your back to me and not say anything?"
Just go back to camp if all you did was come out here to scold me.
"You know. Out of everyone I'm the one who's been putting up with your mopey self for the past moons, the least you could do is put on the nice facade for me considering if it wasn't for me you'd be in Starclan."
...
Yes they had their ups and downs but at the end of the day Sharpfire was right; if it hadn't been for him he'd be dead in Leafclan's camp among bunches of other bodies. but no. Here he was. Recovering well. Breathing. Living. A sigh escaped Jaggedbreeze's mouth, head dropping to stare between the roots where he sat. The shallow depths reflected back a vague mirroring image of the young warrior.
Confusion.
Hurt.
Anger.
Defeat.
Anything but pride stared back at him, "I'm actually here waiting for her. I told her to meet me here so I can test her hunting skills." There was a pause, his words drifting through the air, silence replacing them. His brother's silence echoed his disbelief, there was no way he was buying it. "I guess I just decided to get here a bit earlier than I asked her to be here. I wanted to get out of camp for a bit."
Sharpfire nodded mumbling 'alright' deciding to just drop it, "Well do yourself a favor bro, and at least look alive and ready when she get's here."
Jaggedbreeze remained still as he heard the soft thud of the striped tom's footsteps get farther away, and only when they vanished all together did he mumble the slightest of words under his breathe. I never asked for any of this...
With that thought, his reflection vanished and he was up on his feet. ...but might as well do what I can.
