OOC: Last post before we close this thread! :3
It was one thing to have strange feelings for a loner he'd just met on one of his usual runs through the rocky terrain of TalonClan. It was another thing when, somehow, they could share something similar in their minds; the thought of wanting to know what others saw them as had been something that Thistlehawk wanted since he was but a 'paw, though he often suppressed it for the sake of his warrior duties and all that. Now to have someone he could share these thoughts and feelings with someone else, even if they were an outsider to his Clan. Besides...it couldn't hurt to have a friend from outside, right?
Thistlehawk gave Lyra a soft smile, nodding with a purr, "Yes.. Yes, you can. I can't promise when, but you can wait for me by the Pond of Truce. I'll be there once I'm able."
As the pinkish sky began to give way to a lightening canvas of orange-splashed blue, Thistlehawk slowly turned around towards camp, knowing some of his Clanmates were expecting him back in the clearing by this time. I can make up a reason for being a little late. He rested his green gaze on Lyra, admiring those deep blue pools that were instrumental to her sight, while the ghostly appearance of her pelt slowly softened into something an angelic glow of something so plaintive and innocent. The blue-grey tom smiled again, flicking his tail tip gently against her chin. With a single wink, he raced off from his spot, heart thundering in his chest from excitement as he was homeward bound, knowing that he was, in some strange way, developing feelings for a loner he just met.
but he didn't care - it was something he wanted.
