The soft light hit a sleeping she-cat. Her cream fur shined in the sunlight. The soft noise of her breathing filled the almost empty apprentices den. Today, Palepaw didn't have any training, much to the young cat's relief. Palepaw yawned loudly as her eyelids opened to reveal yellow eyes with hints of green sparkling. Palepaw stood up and stretched out. She yawned loudly, feeling a little tired, her muscles still aching from yesterday. The cream she-cat padded out of the apprentices den and into the clearing. She licked her paws delicately as a soft breeze floated through the air. It moved her fur faintly, making Palepaw purr. She enjoyed feeling breezes go through her fur. It always felt so nice.

Badgerpaw was sleeping in the corner of the apprentice den, he was resting up from a long day of training from the day before. A soft breathing sound had been filling the whole den, it had worked his way into his dreams and soothed him. but then, the sound ceased and a rustling sound echoed through the den. He sleepily opened his eyes to spot the source of the noise: Palepaw. He watched her leave the den so gracefully. He stood up and quickly followed her out of the den, quietly.
The large, black and white kit with flopping ears heard her purring and couldn't help but join in with purring of his own.
He saw her and went to her side, her fur flowing in the breeze, She is the most beautiful cat in all the clans. He though suddenly, while staring at her. Where did that come from? He wondered, surprised. Badgerpaw had never showed interest in another cat before.
Badgerpaw looked away, blushing, I hope she didn't notice me staring. He sighed, Before I can make this even more awkward, He turned to Palepaw and said slowly, Hi Palepaw, umm Do you remember me, Badgerpaw? We've met a few times and I sleep in the apprentice den.. where you sleep... Not that I watch you sleep or anything.. but, I've seen you sleeping, Badgerpaw was sweating as he thought to himself: Really, I've seen you sleeping?! I'm such a mouse-brain!
Just leave now before you can damage anything else between you and Palepaw! Badgerpaw thought ruffly to himself.
You know, I can just leave, now, if you want.. He started to turn away from Palepaw.

OOC: Oh my gosh, Badgerpaw is so terrible at talking to Palepaw! He's so painfully awkward!

Palepaw turned her head when she heard Badgerpaw purring. She watched him speak with gentle yellow eyes. Palepaw smiled as she heard Badgerpaw speak. She laughed a little, gazing at Badgerpaw. "No, no. It's alright," She mewed softly. Her tail curled up around her small body. The young apprentice licked her chest, then preceding to give her tail a few lickings. Palepaw stood up and wondered what was around the camp that would be fun to do. Considering she had this day off, Palepaw decided to spend time having some fun. Palepaw's face brightened as an idea formed. "Maybe Badgerpaw would like to join me!" She though excitedly to herself. Her expression became more sober as doubtful thought was created. "Or maybe not. I mean, he seemed kinda eager to leave..." She thought. Palepaw reasoned with herself that she should at least try. Okay, that's a good idea. "Uh, Badgerpaw, if you don't have anything to do right now, would you like to do something today? I mean, I'm not having training today so... Yeah," Palepaw mewed a little nervously.

OOC: Palepaw!!! Stop doubting yourself so much!!!

That sounds fun. Badgerpaw said maybe a little bit too enthusiastically. We could go swimming, hunting, see the territories, maybe even visit the nursery, or just walk around. Badgerpaw then, added to sound like a gentleman, Whatever you want to do.
It was a beautiful day and the sun was beating down, but the cool breeze kept the heat in check. A perfect day for swimming.
He looked over at Palekit, in a moment, he assessed her features, she had a smaller build than he had noticed before, and she had had yellow eyes that reminded Badgerpaw of sunflowers with just a tint of green.
Her eyes are so pretty. He thought, then he thought about his own eyes, My eyes don't even match!
[His eyes are left is green, right is blue] And my ears are floppy and I have extra toes! Badgerpaw was becoming upset at himself.

Palepaw thought over Badgerpaw`s suggestions. They all sounded like a good idea. Maybe they should do all in one day! That would be fun! Maybe they should explore their territory deeper? Who knows what they might discover! They could also jump in the river and do a little swimming. They`d have to watch out for MidnightClan warriors. Maybe the river was a bad idea. Wasn`t the current much more strong in greenleaf and newleaf than leaf-fall and bareleaf? Perhaps they should go to that small pool, SHallow Pool. It might also be a good idea to do some hunting. It would be helpful sharpen their skills. They could also do some battle training. She certainly needed it! Oh but today was a day where she wanted to relax. Have a time to do whatever she wanted without feeling as if the whole clan depended on her to do her best. Palepaw put it in her mind to have fun. SHe was going to relax and have fun! "Want to start off with a little exploring?" Palepaw asked him excitedly.

Sure! He answered, then thought, Start off? Are we doing all of them today? That sounds like fun.
Then, he stood up and stretched his powerful legs and headed to the exit of camp,
Which territories are we going to first? He asked as he bounded along the path. Every now and then, he would look at Palepaw to check and make sure she was with him.
Then he slowed to let her pass him, You better lead, Palepaw. He muttered. You know the way better than I do.
Air blow through his fur, This feels so nice. Badgerpaw thought pleasantly.

Palepaw smiled and nodded calmly. She only really knew where the landmarks of the territory were. Her mentor didn't really give her a chance to explore the unnamed parts of her territory. Who knew what could be hiding? Tons of things! Then she would be able to figure out the best spots to catch prey! The best spots to hide! And then she would be able to figure out a good place to loose an enemy. Then maybe she'd venture out of her territory. She'd memorize enemy territory! They wouldn't have the advantage! Perhaps she would figure out enemy moves! Moves that could counter your enemy's moves. It would make her te best warrior in all of StormClan! It would be just amazing! Palepaw checked herself and her thoughts, reasoning and inputting some sense into them. She laughed quietly to herself, thinking how silly her thoughts were. but then again... Palepaw shook her thought away. Then it occurred to her that she had been picking up pace and was heading... Splash! Too late... The young she-cat let out a meow of surprise. She found herself in the middle of a warm pool. The Bubbling Pool! Palepaw laughed out loud gleefully. She hadn't been paying attention to where she was going and her feet lead her to this pool! Palepaw quickly leaped out and shook the water off her fur.

Badgerpaw watched Palepaw fall right into a pool of water, he let out a soft chuckle.
Palepaw leap out of the water rather gracefully in Badgerpaw's eyes. Are you alright? He asked.
Badgerpaw's floppy ears bobbled as he hurried to her side. You should watch what your doing, or next time it might be a cliff! He joked with her, half expecting her to push him into the pool.

Badgerpaw affectionately nuzzled her wet flank as he spoke:
Why don't we go to a flower field or something There might be some flowers as pretty as you there.
You messed it up, dirt-brain! It's suppose to be something like: There isn't a flower that compares to your beauty!
Badgerpaw blushed and pawed at the grass. I messed that up... He grumbled under his breath.

Palepaw giggled, starting to blush. She nodded quickly, wanting to get over the embarrassing moment. She found herself already falling for Badgerpaw, though Palepaw tried hard to deny it, reasoning that they were just good friends. "So, would you like to lead?" Palepaw asked. The pale she-cat wore a simple cheerful smile. She held a small angle to her head, her eyes shining.
