The sand felt amazing beneath her paws. The sun had finally made its presence and its rays warmed Sparrowtail's chocolate coat. She enjoyed greenleaf, prey was bountiful, the days were long, and the nighttime noises were relaxing. She stretched her limbs and yawned before sitting down and looking out to the ocean's horizon. What kind of things could Sparrowtail get into today? She had no plans and the day seemed as if it would be boring. She stood up and strutted off down the beach, the smell of twolegs lingered. She grimaced, vile and obnoxious creatures. She hesitated as she had caught sight of them a ways down the shoreline. "Great." she hissed to herself. She didn't have much choice then go and try to sneak past them. With twolegs you almost never know what they're going to do. Some call out to Sparrow, others act as if she isn't there, and then you have the little twolegs. They chase, and squeal, and harass. She hated twolegs.
Sparrowtail quietly stalked past them, making sure to watch them out of the corner of her eye. She thought she had made away from them unnoticed until the all too familiar, overly excited sound erupted from behind her, "Aww kitty! Come here kitty kitty!" Sparrow glanced back, the twoleg was coming in pretty quick and they weren't far off. She made a break for a fallen log a couple feet away, the perfect hiding spot. It had fallen against some boulders, leaving only a small hole for a quick escape. She bunkered down in there, positioning herself to make it easier to sprint away when needed. Before she knew it, it's ugly face appeared, a hand reached out and it spoke to her "Come here I wont hurt you, you pretty kitty." Sparrow hissed as the hand slowly approached, yet they didn't pull away. A growl rumbled in her throat and her tail lashed wildly. Were they dumb? Wasn't her warning clear? She didn't have patience for this nonsense and before the twoleg could move, a fury of sharp nails and teeth sunk into soft skin and a yell escaped their lips. Sparrow took this opportunity to squeeze herself from the read exit and duck into some long grass. She smiled to herself as she watched the twoleg hold their hand in pain while examining the wounds. Served them right.
