-Doesong-
The sun was waning, swooping closer and closer to the horizon. Doesong had just come back with an afternoon patrol and was about ready to fall over her paws. The terrain of the mountain always tired her out after a while and today was no exception. The greenlaef heat didn’t really help her out either and by now, she had half the mind to get some sleep. but, to her surprise, she was quite that tired. No, instead she was actually feeling a bit hungry. So, she adjusted her course and trotted towards the fresh-kill pile.
There was plenty to choose from, so the warrior snagged a bird and meandered towards the other side of camp, near the nursery. Doesong liked to sit near the kits den because they always seemed to say such amusing things to each other. Plus, the older ones were just starting to gossip about things and she just found that plain adorable. She was sure to sit more to the side so she didn’t get run in to if a bunch of kits decided they wanted to run out and throw some moss around or attack each other. Now that would be dinner and show.
Doesong ducked her head and began to pull off the feathers from the bird, taking care not to actually inhale and of the small down feathers because that would just result in an unpleasant and ugly coughing fit. After that was done, she was surrounded by little feathers that she knew she would have to clean up. Or maybe she would just pile them for the kits and apprentices to mess around with. Of course, that would come later. As of now, her rumbling stomach demanded to be fed. While she ate, she nodded greetings to those who passed her. It wasn’t long before she heard a little ruckus in the nursery.
